   Dani grinned as she held on to Stephanie's fur. The wolf seemed to have a unique way of transportation.

She flowed through the air in swift movements. Her fur would sometimes bristle as if it was on fire, but it didn't burn Dani's hands.

Dani giggled when Stephanie jumped and tucked her legs in. They flew through the thick air of ectoplasm, leaving a small trail of fire behind them. "This is awesome."

Steph landed and turned her head to look at her. "It is.... Hey Dani?"

The girl hummed. "Yeah?"

"Am I a ghost?"

Dani paused. She nodded. "But you're a cool ghost." She patted Stephanie's head.

The other snorted and smiled. "Ok. Then. Where are we going?"

"To a friend of mine. She can help us with the ship." Dani pointed back to the aircraft flying behind them.

Stephanie shuddered. "That thing gives me the shivers. I don't like it."

Dani nodded. "It's feeding on ectoplasm. That's the problem we're trying to fix."

Steph gasped. "Can it hurt you?!"

Dani smiled. "Yeah but don't worry. It can't reach us if we're this far."

Stephanie wasn't relieved. She bared her teeth at the thing. "Why does it exist?! It should be ripped to shreds and destroyed and why is it even here? Do the humans not know about it or are they just stupid."

Danny flew up next to them. Dorian sat on his back, resting. "Hey I heard the words 'humans' and 'stupid'. I know that is nothing new but why."

Dani grinned. "You're learning English quickly!!" She exclaimed at her friend.

Stephanie huffed.

Dani frowned. "But that is actually a good question. Hey Danny?"

Danny hummed.

"You told me about the filters on the ship but how did your parents not know about them in the first place?"

Danny sighed. "Because the Guys In White put them there. They funded this trip and messed with my parents' equipment. I think they're trying to destroy the Ghost Zone from the inside. It could have worked. My parents wouldn't have stopped it. I mean, they didn't know that the filters were designed to suck all the energy from the Ghost Zone up so they wouldn't be worried. If it weren't for me being halfghost they wouldn't have figured out how strong the filters were."

Dani scowled and cursed the GIW. Stephanie raised her eyebrows as she leapt again. "Who are the Gays in Wax? And isn't this place too big to all be sucked in by that piece of junk back there?"

Dani laughed. She snorted and wheezed. Danny frowned in confusion. "What? What did she say?"

"She said- oh shit- she said the Gays In Wax. That's-.."

Danny's eyes widened. He let out a laugh. "That's the best thing I've heard all day!"

Stephanie chuckled but was annoyed that they didn't answer her question. "Alright. It wasn't that funny."

"Yeah it was." Dani wiped the tears from her eyes. "But ok. You're right. The ship couldn't possibly suck in ALL the energy of the Ghost Zone. They probably underestimated how big it really is."

Danny sobered up quickly when a thought hit him. "No, it can't absorb everything. But it can cause enough damage."

Stephanie frowned. "What kind of damage?"

Dani translated. "Yeah. What kind of damage."

Danny pursed his lips. "I don't know. Many ghosts could be obliterated. Besides, you know what happens when there's a big disruption with the ectoplasm?" He paused dramatically.

"A black hole. That's what happens!"

Dani gasped and Dorian jumped in surprise.

The she wolf, curious as ever, asked: "A black hole?"

Danny nodded, having understood what she said. "It devours everything in it's path."

"Where does it all go?" Dani was as curious as Stephanie.

Danny shrugged. "Who knows. Whoever is sucked has never come back."

Stephanie snorted. "Sounds like a cheesy horror story."

Dani nodded numbly.

Suddenly Stephanie's ears twitched. She turned her head. "What's that?"

Danny didn't know what she said but he looked in the same direction. "Do you hear it too?"

The wolf nodded.

Dani frowned. "What?"

As they kept going, Cujo and the others behind them, it slowly got clearer.

Music.

Loud, rock music.

The humans in the ship also noticed.

They had thrown away the glass still littered on the ground and sat down in their seats. They were looking outside when they heard the music through the broken window.

Mikey frowned and leaned closer to window. "What is that?"

Dash gasped. He looked at Kwan with wide eyes. "I'd know that music anywhere."

They grinned and exclaimed in unison. "Ember McLain!!"

Danny blinked when he saw rays of light lit up in the air. The rock music got louder and they could suddenly see where it was all coming from.

"That's quite the party they have there," Danny mused.

And it was. A large platform floated in the vast expanse. On it stood the one and only Ember McLain. Rocking at it with the rest of the band. Lights flashed and swept over the large crowd in front and around the platform. The ghosts were cheering and screaming out the song Ember was singing with passion.

Danny was shocked but recovered quickly. "I didn't know Ember gave concerts in the Ghost Zone? Although I can't say I'm surprised."

Dani turned to him with a twinkle in her eye. "Can we go there?"

Danny frowned. "Didn't you hear what I just said?! The ship. Black Hole. End of the world!!?"

Dani pouted. "Aw common. It's not that bad."

Stephanie hummed. "Yeah. It's only gonna suck us all into a place where we can't escape from and will stay in for all eternity. Probably hell."

Dani pouted. "Or heaven."

Steph rolled her eyes. "Doubt it."

The small female halfa crossed her arms. "I thought you were on my side."

"I am. But I don't fancy appearing in two strange and new worlds the same day."

"How about tomorrow."

"No!"

"Uuuh guys?"

Danny, Dani and Stephanie stopped and turned to see David looking at the ship in concern. "I don't think they understand either."

And indeed, the Fenton Space Craft was turning and making to land on a deserted island.

Danny frowned. "Let me guess."

Dash and Kwan (and quite a few other students) were pestering the Fentons.

"Can we please go."

"It is freaking Ember McLain. In a life concert. Common."

Maddie gave the ceiling a long suffering look. "We need to fix the ship before it gets out of hand." I've already brought enough harm to my boy, she added in thoughts.

Sam crossed her arms. "She's right. We don't have time to party."

Mikey bit his lip. "Besides. Isn't Ember evil?"

There were a few nods but no one could deny that they wanted to see Ember life too.

Kwan scowled. "One can't just pass Ember McLain without listening to at least one song."

Dash nodded. "That would just be plain cruel."

Tucker crossed his arms. "I agree."

He yelped when Sam punched him. "Tucker no!"

"But, Sam. This is a once in a lifetime experience. I can't miss this."

Sam rolled her eyes. "This isn't a one in a lifetime experience. You have all been in three of her concerts back in Amity Park."

Kwan whined at her as if she was his mother. "But this is in the Ghost Zone."

Valerie frowned. "What difference does that make?"

Nathan gasped. "Valerie, please. This is the best thing that has happened to us. Don't you want to practice for the prom?"

Valerie went red. "For the last time. We are NOT going to the prom together."

Maddie raised her hands. "Quiet, kids. Alright. We'll land and discuss this. If we have time. We'll go for a short while. If not, you will stop complaining because we are leaving."

So they landed the ship in the nearest island. It was far away enough that the crowd of ghosts didn't notice.

They saw Danny and his friends come their way and land on floating rocks far enough away from them.

"Jack," Maddie asked her husband. "Can you go talk to Danny and ask if this is a good idea? I'll stay behind with the kids."

Jack grinned and nodded. He put his cap on an jumped out of the ship. He was followed by the voices of students begging to let them party. Jack chuckled. They were starting to rely on Danny's advice a lot lately.

He landed on a big rock and Danny floated in front of him. Jack noted how natural it looked and how comfortable his son seemed in the air. "Hello son!" He said cheerily.

Danny grinned in greeting but he pointed at the ship. "Tell me they don't want to stay at the concert?"

The man shrugged. "I'd be lying then, wouldn't I. They want to know if we have enough time."

Danny sighed.

Cujo landed on top of a door to get closer to them. Damien frowned from where he sat on top of the dog.

Danny turned to him and David. "Have you guys talked to Ember lately. I haven't really spoken to her for half a year. Is she ok?"

David thought about it. "Well yeah. But what evil could she do in a concert for ghosts while she didn't even know you guys were coming by?"

Danny shrugged. "Could be anything. Maybe she changes her mind and tries something. Either way, I don't think we have the time."

Damien jabbed his chin towards the ship. "Why don't you test it."

Danny squinted at the ship. He nodded. "Be back in a sec." And he took off.

Jack watched with mild concern but didn't worry too much. Danny knew what he was doing.

The halfa flew closer and closer until he felt the pull. He looked at where he stood from the ship. "14 meters," he muttered.

He lit up a hand and shot it towards the ship. He heard a few startled yelps from inside but ignored them. The ectoblast would graze the top, if it even got there. And just as he thought, the blast had completely disintegrated five meters away from the ship.

He hummed. That was fine. They had more than enough time. Although he would like this problem solved sooner than later.

He went back to Jack and his cousins. "It's fine. We can spend a few hours here. But I want to make sure it's safe so I'll go in first."

Dani gasped. "I want to come too!"

Danny smiled. "Sure why not." Stephanie growled. Danny chuckled. "You can come too. But that's it."

Jack nodded. "I'll tell your mother and wait here."

Danny waved at Damien, David and his dad. Those two cousins weren't much of a partygoers anyway. Neither was Dorian but Danny found him flying next to him, nevertheless.

Danny smiled and let it be.

Soon they reached the first ghosts. Everyone was dancing or talking or singing.

They looked around to see many types of ghosts. Human looking ghosts, animal looking ghosts, some weird form that didn't really look like anything and made Danny wonder if the ghosts had made it up themselves or if mother has some explaining to do.

Either way everyone was having a good time.

Dani immediately cheered and ran deeper in, followed closely by Stephanie. Both grinning and ready to party.

Danny yelled after them but quickly gave up. Steph could take care. And Dani wasn't such a defenseless girl.

The raven haired boy inspected everything around him. So far he hadn't found any death traps unless you count getting punched by a wild fist being swung in the air. He approached one of the ghosts.

"Hey. What is this?"

The ghost turned to him and frowned. "Whadya mean 'wha is this'? This is one o' Clain's parties!"

Danny raised his eyebrows. "How often does she do this?"

The other waved its hand around. "Almost every month. Where ya been, kid. You live under a rock and hit your head with it?"

Danny nodded absently and turned his attention back to the singing pop star. "Sure thanks. Bye."

The ghost shook his head and spoke to his friend. "Teenagers these days. Hey, that's my sandwich!!"

Danny pushed himself closer and took a good look at Ember's guitar. He'd noticed it wasn't the same guitar she used for her incantations. This one looked....normal. Even though it was glowing a dark blue.

Ember herself didn't look that much different since the last time they had met.

Her attire was slightly changed. Although she still looked very punky. Her hair was still high in a ponytail and flaming.

The flames weren't as high as that time when the whole world was chanting her name back in freshman. Obviously.

They just kind of flowed behind her and seemed to pulsate to the rhythm. She looked like she was really enjoying herself.

Danny smiled as he flew back towards his dad. "Tell them they have two hours."

I know i shuld have updated yesterday but i gotta get back to the rhythm of updates.
Whoa there were so many people begging me to update last chapter. As if youre scared im leaving you for another week without an update.

Welp. I got bad news.

Im leaving on a vacation on monday.

Me and my fam are going camping and theres no wifi.

So ill have to leave you hanging for ten days.

BUT unlike last time, ill have time to write. So ill be sure to come back with five or six updates ready.

So i hope youll forgive me. I can still update on or two more times before i leave.
