Arch-enemy
The Phantom and Raoul are having a fight, and Christine felt the need to intercept...
"Why can't you accept the fact that Christine chose me!? Her angel of music!" Erik yelled. Raoul groaned in frustration. "Only because you conned her for years telling her you were the real angel of music her deceased father promised to send to her!"
"We've moved past that, and you should too! Now it's just a nickname!" Erik yelled. "A bad one, as I prefer your real nickname, maskey!" Raoul taunted. Erik curled his fists and looked for something to throw.
"Raoul, you are truly my arch enemy." Erik growled. Christine looked at him, a perplexed look on her face. "Erik, I thought I was your arch enemy?" She said.
Both Erik and Raoul paused, and Erik looked towards Christine with a perplexed look on his face. "I have a life outside of you, Christine. Besides, you were never my arch enemy." Christine tilted her head in confusion. "But, I thought an arch enemy was someone that you hated. You hated me for a little bit."
Erik and Raoul knew to cease their fight for now, to correct the wrong thinking Christine was having. Erik sighed and put his hands on her shoulders. "Angel, I never hated you. I hated that floppy-haired fool, but never you. I loved you too much, so it was very painful to see you with someone else, that's all."
Christine smiled. "I was never your arch enemy then?" Erik shook his head, smiling. "Never have been, and never will be." Christine hugged him, gratefully. Erik hugged her back, and shot a glare at Raoul.
"You're still it, floppy-hair."
