Currently in the lecture room we see Ben asleep a few desks away from Minase, almost everyone had left the classroom. Mai had gone to work out at the local gym, Haruhiko went home, Ruru as always followed him, Reina also went home probably snacking along the way. And Iwa and Supuraito has gone out to see a movie together. So it was just the shapeshifter and the golden voice today, the girl had been listening to music when she opened her eyes and looked outside.

"Oh it's almost evening" she noticed before looking at her sleeping friend, 'i should wake him up, no one wants to wake up in a school' she thought before walking over to him. "Hey Ben" she said softly, slightly shaking his shoulder making him wake up a little. "Huh?" He groaned sitting up, "come on Ben, school's gonna close soon" Koito had informed. "Kay thanks" Ben replied rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, "oh you're both awake" ms. Arisu said from her desk up front.

"Sorry to bother you but would you do me a favor?" She asked, "is it possible to do it tomorrow?" Ben asked. "If you want" the teacher lead them to her office, "a few days ago odd figures was seen looming around the forests up north" she explained.

"Define odd?" Minase asked, "bizarre entities that had either large strong bodies and a human like stance, were four legged and fast footed with a taste for warm blood. And recently a flying entity with bright red eyes" she explained giving the two pictures of said beings.

"Maybe a phantom?" Ben suggested, "that is possible, but look how in focus the pictures are" Koito said. "If you two could I'd like you to check these out, in case they start to become a problem" Ms. Arisu requested.

"We'll start in the morning" Ben saluted, "also since you two were the only ones here the other members of your team can't take the job" the teacher informed. "Great" Ben groaned knowing it was going to be hard, especially since he didn't know Koito well and wasn't sure if they'd get along. The feeling was mutual for the golden voiced girl.

Later on they inspected the areas where the entities were sighted, "any trace of the creatures?" Minase asked. "A trace? Try a palooza" Ben said, she saw what he was talking about, the area had been trashed as if all the monsters had been here. The shapeshifter had took a step and wrenched his foot back in pain jumping on one leg "ow ow ow ow ow ow!!" He yelled clutching his foot.

Looking down Ben saw what he had stepped on, a small claw "Well that's interesting" he said picking it up. "What did you find?" His friend asked "it looks like a claw of something, it's kinda dull so it reminds me of a dog's claw" Ben answered.

She observed the finding "you're right" she then lurched down as if she stepped in someplace deep. "What the?" Looking down Minase had saw not a hole, but a large footprint, a large familiar footprint. "Uh what's that?" She asked, "reminds me of the false Bigfoot prints back in America" Ben commented.

The two then heard a shriek of sorts, then looked up and saw an odd flying figure barreling towards them from above. "Minase look out!" Ben said pushing her out of the way, the creature swooped but missed, the shapeshifter had grew a few of eye guy's eyes on his shoulder and blasted the creature. It managed to evade the blast by it did graze a wing, shrieking the monster turned back around and made an attempt to dive bomb them.

"Old fly boy is turning back around" Ben said, "cover your ears" Koito Ben had covered the ear closest to her and she let out a powerful vocal, pushing the beast away. Though it was still able to steadily get closer, "here vocalize into this" Ben said turning his hand into Ultimate Echo Echo's.

She then used it like a microphone, or bull horn depending on the way you look at it, and let out an even more powerful super sound that both bind the entity in her usual golden chains and launched it away. "Well... we can confirm that the creatures were here" Ben said, "and that they pose a threat" Minase asked.

Then noticed their position, "Uh Ben" she spoke getting his attention, "you can Uh... you can get off me now" she said. The alien teen saw that he had still been guarding her and got off blushing "ha ha, uh.. sorry" he apologized. The helped the girl to her feet, they looked around more and decided to see the source as to where Ms. Arisu got the images in the jest place.

It was a site relating to various creatures in both modern and ancient myths, from Lochness and Chupacabra to Bigfoot and Mothman. "Well at least we can ID the creature that attacked us" Ben said pointing to the picture of Mothman. " The appearance does match" Minase said as they looked at the other pictures, "says here in these updates the next one will be at the park a few miles from the school" she read.

"Some how that sounds suspicious" Ben said, "how so?" Minase had her question answered when Ben had scrolled through the list of updates. "Look, in every one of these posts it says when the next creature pic is gonna be. And then look at the picture" the two then switched to each of the pics.

"They were all right on the mark, each and every photo" he said. "That is kinda suspicious" the two then saw another picture show up revealing to be the Mothman. And it was attacking two people, getting a better look they saw it was them, "this is embarrassing" Ben said. Minase looked at the photo also, then blushed seeing the title.

"Look at the title", Ben looked, then mimicked her reaction as he read "lover's night ruined by Mothman mishap". In a moment a familiar voice was heard "ha ha, i didn't know you two were together" Ruru said suddenly appearing next to them. Scaring the two silly, "we are not!" They yelled, "we were investigating the sightings of unknown creatures, possibly phantoms, for Ms. Arisu" Ben said. "And at the same time we were attacked by a mothman" Koito added.

Ruru sent them a sly smile "whatever you say" she said before flying away, "she sometimes gets on my nerves" Ben growled. "Now I know how Haruhiko feels" Minase added, "maybe we should go check out the next sighting" he said before turning off the computer.

The two then found themselves hiding in a bush in said park from the website, "so what mimic monster do you think is going to show up?" Ben asked. "Reviewing the photos in order it could be any one of them, it doesn't have an order that the monsters appear" Minase replied.

Ben looked to the lake at the park, then noticed it bubbling, "uh I think we may have a winner" he said. Then pointed to the water, a boy went over to the water "hey kid! Get away from there" Ben said, "what!" The boy replied. "Get away from there" Koito replied, he still couldn't hear them, then something rose from the water, a large marine reptile with a long snake like neck. "Lochness, it had to be Lochness" Ben muttered before activating his Omnitrix and turning into Omni.

"Okay Nessie, time to go back to Scotland" he yelled growing to Humungosaur's size, she turned her attention to him and was tackled. "Minase hurry, bind it" Omni said holding the creature down, "break break break, break into the tune of creation, tune tune tune, tunnel of flames".

The released her golden voice again and put the creature in chains, "that ought to hold him" She said. "Not for long though, come on, let's take it back so Haruhiko or Reina to seal it" Ben responded. Hey we're about to drag the thing back when a giant tentacle reaches out of the water and grabbed the monster, then pulled it back into the water. "What was that?" Minase asked surprised, "not sure but I'll catch them" Ben said before turning his legs and tail into Rip Jaw's and hopped into the water.

Only when he was under there wasn't any sign of the creatures, the alien narrowed his eyes as he swam back up and resurfaced. "We're they down there?" She asked, "nope, but I think I may know why that is" Ben said as they walked back to the school.

The next day Ben and Minase were now at the school's front gate, the next post said the next photo was going to be at their school. "If anyone was going to do a monster photo here, they'd have to enter the school by some means. Most likely the front gate" He remarked, after about two hours no one came "Okay maybe he want he wanted to throw us off" The shapeshifter had admitted.

"Maybe" the pair then heard a loud shriek "or maybe not" looking back they were expecting to see some sort of creature. They did only it was the Mothman and he grabbed them by the necks and hoisted them up. "Oh great! Bug boy's back" Ben grunted trying to get free, "and it looks like he isn't very happy about us launching him away" Minase added.

The then saw a man walk up to them, about 19 with messy brown hair, black eyes and wore a purple jacket. "Let me guess, you're the one behind these monster sightings" Ben said, "that's right, so far I'm letting the public know from my photo blog about the monsters from myth and lore. And right after I'll take the world by storm, with my power to create phantoms based on images nothing will be able to stop me" he said.

"You do realize that there's several teens with powers of their own that are able to seal them right?" Minase asked, "why do you think I have these?" A large dog like creature then materialized before them. It was clearly hairless with odd dorsal spines running down its back, "What's that?" Ben asked.

"A chupacabra, also known as the Mexican goat sucker but it feeds on all warm blooded creatures. But I modified these so they could suck the powers out of anyone preventing them from using heir abilities" the person said. The mutt then walked next to Koito and opened its mouth, then began sucking the energy out of her. "Now I must be on my way" he said walking away.

"This is bad" the phantom hunter said, "with this thing absorbing my power I can bind these things". Ben then looked at the creature "wait, he said they absorb the power from us, but he meant from people like you. Who have natural powers" he said. "So?" She asked, "so that means" Ben then became Predator and bit down on the Mothman and threw him at the chupacabra.

"Handy" Koito commented as Ben helped her up with his tail, "so how do we stop this?" He asked. "Well, to help subdue other people we have a special tranq back in the school" she answered as they ran into the school. "You guys had tranquilizers to subdue unruly kids?" Ben asked confused, "believe me adolescence and super powers aren't the best combination" she replied riding on his back.

"Ms. Arisu, we're gonna need a hand" Predator said, "oh dear what's wrong?" She asked, the two explained the deal with the man with the ability to create phantoms. And as of right now she had joined them to find the culprit and was rising on Ben's back as well. "Any idea where he could be?" She asked, "should be easy to find him, all we have to do is follow the screams" Ben replied before seeing a bunch of people run away down the street.

"Well, you said to follow the screams" Minase said, they went to the source and saw a Sasquatch ripping a car in half and a yeti lifting up two boulders. "That explains the giant footprint" she added as they ducked an incoming car half. Ben in retaliation roared and used Slamworm's power to dig underground and burst out from under the ape men. Then sprayed acid on them, "you two again? I need more reinforcements" he said as a couple of giant condor like birds appeared over head.

"I got his bird flock go handle the head honcho" Predator said before growing Omnivoracious's wings on his back. Then flew up, "Okay vulture breath try me on for size" he taunted before releasing Bug Lizard gas blinding them. "Do you honestly think that blinding them would do anything?" The culprit asked sarcastically only to see them fall from the sky binded in gold energy chains. "Then how about with a little team work?" Minase asked.

Before a bird nearly swooped down at her only to be swatted away by Ben's tail, "need a hand?or in this case a tail?" He asked. "Yeah, well I appreciate it" she replied. The person scoffed and went to summon more phantoms, only he felt a sting feeling, and after found a dart in his arm.

"But it does make a good distraction" Ms. Arisu said, once that happened all the phantoms started to spazz our and poof into dust. "Well that takes care of that" Ben said, then saw the man faint, "yeesh, is it always like that when you use the tranqs?" He asked. "Not all the time, sometimes they just get paralyzed on a few sides of their bodies" the instructor answered.

A few hours later the authorities had come to pick up the man and had put a new type of ability restrained on him that limited the use of his powers. With Ben and Koito the two were now sitting on a bench at the train station, "yon know Ben, I never did thank you" she said. "What's up Minase?" Ben asked, "Well, it's just, you actually saved my butt three times. Once when we were attacked by that Mothman the first time, then when you got us out of that tight spot with that chupacabra. And just earlier when you stopped that big bird" she explained.

"Well it's not trouble, we are friends after all" he replied, "well, thanks, maybe we should do some jobs together more often. Just the two of us" she suggested. "You know, that sounds real nice" he said, then the two for some strange reason unwillingly scooted closer to each other.
