Stepping into the lab that Tony and Bruce were in I could tell they were gonna be good friends and colleagues with work. Dad was on the computer typing vigorously and Bruce was looking at a data pad which I'm guessing was just more scientific research.

"Dr. Banner," I said with a half smile looking from Bruce to my dad. He hadn't bothered to look up from the computer.

"Miss Stark," Banner nodded to me, acknowledging me. The way his eyes looked to the two of us was obvious that he could feel the tension.

"Banner, you mind telling my daughter that I need to see her fancy bracelets to calibrate them a bit better," I rolled my eyes, he was going to act like a child. Really? Ignoring the look Banner gave me I sat on the table behind dad, putting my hands in my lap.

"Uhh, Tony. I'm not sure if that's the bes-"

"You wanna tell my father to stop being a child, he's suppose to be the parent," Tony had taken my wrists in his hand and began to fiddle with the mechanics in the braces. I bit my lip an jumped when I felt a shock jolt my body. Dad stopped suddenly to see if I was fine, and I was for the most part. "Go on," He rolled his eyes before returning to is tinkering. It didn't take to much longer before I was rubbing my palms and around the braces, I was getting irritated being some test subject.

"Bruce you mind finishing up with her while I look at these?" Dad motioned to the monitor he returned to and I took a deep breath extending my hands to Bruce expecting him to fiddle with them too. Instead he shook his head and took off a stethoscope around his neck and pressed it against my chest.

"I'm sure if I started to meddle with those, you would send me through the wall," His note got a short chuckle out of me, which seemed to lighten the mood. "I'm just gonna make sure your vitals are holding alright," Breathing in an out as slow as I could to try an mask the fact I wasn't calm didn't seem to trick him enough. I watched his brows draw near for a short moment before he took a step away and grabbed a flashlight off of a table.

"Why are you doing this with the chance that I could send you out the window down towards the ground?" He didn't seem to mind my question but he didn't answer at first, probably thinking it over. I kept watching him as he put the flashlight across my eyes, checking dilation. Burning for only a moment before Bruce lowered it, almost immediately as the burning had started up.

"Fury mentioned a training room, and you and your ability are out of wack?" I nodded remembering, and waited as Bruce took out some monitors and placed them on my temples an arms. He handed me one and motioned for me to put it on my sternum. Doing so I realized this was yet another test as Dr. Banner pulled out an apple and set it in front of me on the counter across from me. "Please, demonstrate."

I felt the vibrations of energy ripple off my hand and then waited a few seconds. The apple vanished then appeared into my open palm, but not soon afterwords the apple vanished again and was bouncing all over the lab. Gripping my head I heard the monitors start to beep as the pain started increasing. My hands started to shake as the energy started to form on the tips of my fingers and when I looked up to Bruce he had taken a step back. The more you struggle against my control, the more pain I shall inflict upon our body. My body flinched away from Tony's touch, my hands shooting out a portal and another across the room that he fell through.

"Jaedyn," Tony said, hurrying to the side I was on and tried to do his best to calm me down.

"Make it stop, please..." I mumbled my heartbeat in my ears, quick and heavy. "Please Dad," I had completely forgotten about the fight we had and I just wanted it to stop. Finally I felt Dad's hands on my forearms, firmly grabbing me. Bringing me back to reality.

"Princess, you are either getting more dangerous or stronger," He chuckled trying to make me smile, taking off the monitors and setting them on a table beside us, I took off the under shirt one then layed on the table. Curling myself into a tight ball, turning my back towards Dad.

Lovely, Lethal, Life changing. Jaedyn, you shall rule beside me and with you at my side. The mortal realm will be no match for our power. We shall stand above them, just give away the control and let everything you know go. Listen to what I shall say and everything shall be fine. My voice and mine alone shall guide you to a better place. Your gift is the key to the way we form the world, and it will be glorious.

Rolling onto my side I saw that the others were walking into the lab, peering over to Nick as he walked in. He looked both surprised and angry towards Bruce and Tony. What had they done now?

"What do you think your doing, Stark?" Slowly I sat up and rubbed my already burning eyes, I hadn't even realized I had drifted off. Taking a look around the room I saw that I didn't hurt anyone or destroy the place, which was good.

"Uhh... Kind of been wondering the same thing about you," Tony replied to him, looking at a monitor.

"You're supposed to be locating the Tesseract," I groaned as Nick would always find some way to criticize something.

​ "We are. The model's locked and we're sweeping for the signature now. When we get a hit, we'll have the location within half a mile," Banner added as I made my way looking over to Banner, he had the same look at me. Showing me the same concerned look he had when he used the flashlight in front of my eyes.

​ "And you'll get your cube back, no muss, no fuss..." There was a beeping sound and then suddenly his monitor show a collection of Secret Files. "What is Phase two?" I hadn't even notice Steve come in until he dropped a Hydra assault rifle on the table causing Fury, Banner, Tony and I to turned around. To say that Steve looked pissed was an understatement.

​ "Phase two Shield, uses the cube to make weapons. Sorry, the computer was moving a little slow," Steve glared and I looked at the weapon and then to Nick. I saw Nick, Tony and Steve share a look, but I wasn't sure what they were saying with the look. My hands curled to fists, they would use the tesseract to create weapons against who? There already was one who tried to do such thing, that ended up poorly for both parties. What makes Fury think he can use it the same way?

​ "Rogers, we gathered everything related to the Tesseract. This does not mean that we're..." Nick tried to explain but Tony turned the computer screen. There were plans of weapons that showed diagrams of phase two.

​ "I'm sorry, Nick. What were you lying?" Tony said showing the weapon plans.

​ "I was wrong, director. The world hasn't changed a bit," Steve said sounding as disgusted as he looked to Nick. I shook my head and tried to keep myself from the computer. At that moment, Thor and Natasha walked into the lab. Natasha kept her eyes right on Banner. Banner looked at her, pissed. The energy in the room shifted severely and it gave me chills.

"Did you know about this?" Bruce asked, crossing his arms as he stepped towards Nat.

"You wanna think about removing yourself from this environment, Doctor?" As much as Natasha was trying to remain calm and persuasive to Banner I could see right through her. Her and Nick both knew something that I didn't and they would keep it that way until the very last minute. "Jaedyn I need you to come with me."

"I was in Calcutta, I was pretty well removed, I'm not leaving just because you get a little twitchy. I'd like to know why Shield is using the Tesseract to build weapons of mass destruction," Bruce looked to me realizing what I had as well, she wants both of us to leave.

"What?" Dad said, taking steps towards me and putting his arm in front of me. "My daughter isn't going anywhere out of my sight," I was going to stand up for myself but Nick started speaking before I could.

​ "Because of him," Nick said pointing to Thor catching him by surprise. I had heard what had happened but not in great detail. "Last year earth had a visitor from another planet who had a grudge match that leveled a small town. We learned that not only are we not alone, but we are hopelessly, hilariously, outgunned."

"That may be true Director, but you have read about what happened the last time people tried to use the Tesseract for their own benefit haven't you?" My hands crossed over my chest when I saw everyone's eyes on me.

"If I may director, my people want nothing but peace with your planet," Thor added on trying to calm everyone down, the tension was high.

"But you're not the only people out there, are you? And, you're not the only threat. The world is filling up with people who can't be matched, there are those who can't control their strength," I saw a few eyes including Nick's eye look to me.

"You're work with the Tesseract is what drew Loki to it, and his allies. It is the signal to all the realms that the earth is ready for a higher form of war. Lady Stark was communicating with my brother, that does not end well for most," Thor motioned to me and I moved away, the whole arguing thing was beginning to get out of hand.

​ "You forced our hand. We had to come up with something," Nick said making an excuse up quickly.

​ "Nuclear deterrent. 'Cause that always calms everything right down," I said pushing passed Tony to hope I could leave, Natasha didn't let me. "Natasha. If I'm a threat to this ship do you really want me on your bad side?" I looked to Nat and then to Nick. I took a heavy breath and rubbed my eyes. "I'm sorry that wasn't how I wanted it to go to my room," Everything was about to change now, there was a look in Tony's eyes showing that he also knew something that I didn't. I backed away from the area and kept my body close to me. My arms holding myself up so I was standing. I felt the room get dizzier and my eyes were the same, everyone was yelling. Steve puffed up his chest at Tony, who just stood there, un-moving.

​ "Put on the suit, let's go a few rounds," Steve said, antagonizing Tony. Thor's heavy laugh brought me back to the reality and drew my attention back.

​ "You people are so petty... and tiny," Thor said crossing his arms, Tony rubbed his head.

​ "Agent Romanoff, would you escort Dr. Banner back to his..." Nick began but was cut off.

​ "Where? You rented my room," Bruce asked glaring at Fury. This room started to remind me of the box, that I had stayed in only a few times, and it reminded me of the time that I had teleported into because it was the only place I felt safe in at the time. And I wish I could have gone there now, but I knew Nat wasn't going to let me.

​ "The cell was just in case..." Once more Nick was cut off by Banner again.

​ "In case you needed to kill me, but you can't! I know! I tried!" Bruce yelled causing all eyes to shift to him. I noticed no one would say anything or do anything so I pushed my way through the group that had formed.

​ "Why?" Steve asked, for a guy who lived a long time he's pretty dumb right now. I looked to Bruce and briefly smiled and looked to Steve directly then I moved through out the crowd. Taking a deep breath calming myself in case I got lost in my memories.

​ "People get low, they see no end to what they feel or what they go through. Death seems like a good way out, the idea of it all just leaving is almost hypnotic..." I saw the look in everyone's eyes but when I met dad's. The look he gave me made my hand send a focused wave back and it sent a monitor to the floor.

"And you know this J-?" Steve stepped forward to touch my arm in hopes to calm me but I moved away teleporting a few feet from the place.

​ "I don't know Steve. Maybe it was the fact that I saw my dad plastered on the news saying he's dead and then I got to see the ransom video of him being tortured on my father's partner's computer. It could have also been the fact that when I saw him again he had a hole in his chest instead of his beating heart. That stuff kinda changes a person, it could also be because I have been kidnapped three times, tortured twice, injured in more ways than I would like to remember," I took a few steps towards Steve and each one sent a small wave of energy down my skin. "Take. Your. Pick." I poked his chest each word I spoke and on the last poke he was sent back a few feet with my power. "Cause any and all of it makes me go a little crazy at times. I'm sorry I interrupted you Doctor Banner."

"Don't be Jaedyn... In any case you people get low, I didn't see an end, so I put a bullet in my mouth and the other guy spit it out!So I moved on. I focused on helping other people. I was good, until you dragged me back into this freak show and put everyone here at risk!" Banner was slowly getting upset an his gaze was on Natasha who got unnerved. "You wanna know my secret, Agent Romanoff? You wanna know how I stay calm?" I noticed Nat and Fury both reach for their guns.

Now is the time, you can finally just give in if you wish. Let me take over. Let the whole world fade from view. Let me show you the world you will come to know. Fire at every end, screaming of those who you call friends and family. The army that he brings takes over, the city turned to ash and ruin. The world around you will change. The blue light shooting into the sky, opening the other end of space in hopes of control. Control of the world you call home. Your father, the ones whose helped you in life. The ones who have helped you become a better person in life. All dead. All are gonna burn, you have done nothing for the survival of your race.

"It's all gonna burn. It's all for nothing. It's all gone be for nothing and you all are gonna be nothing but bleached skulls. Don't you get it? Your dead, all of you are dead. And for nothing. All of you are dead!" My voice cried out and when I realized I came back into reality I saw that everyone was looking at me now. They had all turned to me and saw how freaked out I was. I took a step away from the group and struggled to form words. When I did it was only two words. "I-I'm Sorry..." Natasha's body had shifted to me, and saw that I wasn't here. I was there, I wasn't gonna be able to help anyone, if I couldn't help myself. That's when I felt my body start to hum lowly, the gauntlets were glowing brightly and the energy that the scepter was giving off I was doing the same. "Dad..." Tony and Steve stopped bickering I had called for dad, he saw the scattered wisps that only grew larger now. "What's happening to me?"

"Jaedyn, I need you to be calm. Try and calm down Princess..." Tony's voice caused me to look over to him and I saw that it was only him that looked to me. The others were looking over to Bruce that's when Steve spoke. The small hand held tools started to float around me and begin to vanish and reappear in other places. My breathing started to get to heavy and I realized I was hyperventilating.

​ "Doctor Banner... put down the scepter," Steve said calmly an Banner looked down shocked to see he's holding Loki's scepter. There was beeping and some more arguing but what I remember the most was being thrown against the wall by an explosion, I yelled out hitting the wall and fell against the floor. My head spinning and I couldn't begin to think what was happening. I heard so many voices but the loudest rang though. Her's.

"You have lost little one..." She spoke to me and then I felt the burning sensation that was so strong I couldn't begin to fight what was happening. She was taking over, and I was letting her. I had no more fight in my body, I was drained of all energy. I let out a long piercing cry to let out whatever pain I held inside.

Pandemonium erupted an I heard Emergency alarms go off. There was fire surrounding me and agents trying to get to me. My vision was blurry as I had hit my head against the wall hard. There were agents scrambling for their weapons and in hopes to get to a safer place. As they were going to their stations to do their jobs. I forced myself to get to my feet and fell into the wall, hearing her screaming in my head. The Agents around me saw that I was having some sort of melt down and I motioned them to leave me alone. Instead of getting away and trying to find Tony I saw other Agents who looked calm and determined. When they looked to me I saw their eyes, all the same blue, that the scepter had, Loki's influence. And when they saw me, the feeling that the energy had given me caused my body to start to shake violently. I gripped the wall as if that would stop what she was doing. Slowly sliding down the walls, my hands began to glow, as did the scars a long my body. Suddenly I let out a sharp scream and fell over, my eyes closing immediately. And when they opened I was trapped behind my glowing blue eyes.

"You are no longer in control. You lost Control," My voice echoed, sending chills down my body but I couldn't do anything. My limbs acted against me, my words were not my own. I've lost control of my own body. "Indeed. Let's go say hello shall we?" Slowly my body moved down the hall and teleported with ease to the same floor that I was guided down before...
