"Where do you acquire these books?!" asked the librarian's regular. She visited this library solely because of its unique collection. She knew her books – but he knew more; it peeved her. "I've never heard of these authors!"

The librarian chuckled. "As long as you love them."

"You have no idea how that vexes me," she retorted, and left.

The librarian scanned the premises; it was empty. He pulled out an ancient leather-bound volume from a drawer. When he opened it, a bright light shone through. "Time to get more books," said he, as he jumped in and vanished inside it.
