Phil

Yay! I've been gone for the past three weeks, as I went to go see my parents, and haven't been able to Skype my Dan since the first week of me leaving, and now I am infront of the flat.

    As I step in, I expect to see my husband waiting for me, but he is no where to be seen. I head to the room and to my surprise, find him lying face first on the carpet.

"Danny? Bear? What's wrong? Are you OK?" I ask, rushing to his side. At this point I was expecting him to get up, to be thrilled to see me, but he just stayed there.

"Why? What's the point of life? Why do I exist? The world is going to explode one day anyways. Why can't I die? What's stopping me? Who actually cares about me?" Oh. He's having an existential crisis.

"Bear? How long has this been going on?" "About 2 days, maybe 3, why?" Worry strikes me. "What??? Bear! Have you eaten anything?" "No." "Drunken anything?" "Nope." More worry.

"Alright that's it, get up." I said seriously. A groan came out of my lovers mouth.

I decided he's not going to be able to get himself up, so I took matters into my own hands. I picked him up, threw him over my shoulder, and walked out of the room.

    Once I got in the lounge, I set him down to make a sandwich and get him some water. I made the food and walked back into the lounge, sitting next to him and handing him his food. "Eat bear, you need food."

He started eating so I decided it was a good time to help him out. "Now tell me, what's on your mind Bear?" I asked, concerned. "What's the point of life Phil? I understand its to invent new things and to make the world a better place, but what's the point of that when the world is just going to explode one day?" I took his hand in mine, scooting closer to him. "I know it's hard, Dan. Having to think about that, but, it's so we can have a good life. I know eventually the world won't exist anymore, but that's not for along time, so why don't you just try to live the best life you can, yeah? Enjoy your life while it's here"

    "Ok.. I guess I could do that, now I need some sleep."
