I've written this chapter while being in a very high fever so atleast I deserve that much. 😢

Shivaay and Anika were sitting beside Pari's bed holding her hand.

A- She'll be fine, right?

S- Hmm. She'll be fine.

Anika smiled.

At the same time, doctor entered the ward. Shivaay and Anika stood up and gave space to doctor to check Pari.

The doctor checked her up. He removed the IV drip from Pari's hand.

D- She's fine now. You can take her home. Just keep in mind that you don't give her cow milk or anything made of it in future.

Anika and Shivaay nodded their head.

A- Thank you doctor.

D- Please sign some discharge formalities.

Shivaay nodded his head and went along with the doctor. While Anika sat beside Pari. Pari slowly stirred and opened her eyes. Anika looked at her pale skin and her eyes were little red.

Anika had tears in her eyes after looking at her weak figure.

A- I'm sorry baby. I was so careless about you but just few days more then you won't have to face all this.

Pari gave her a weak smile and Anika kissed her forehead. At the same time, Shivaay entered the ward.

Anika immediately wiped her tears and looked at Shivaay.

A- What happened?

S- Nothing. I've completed all the formalities. Now we can take Pari home with us.

Anika nodded her head. Anika picked up Pari in her arms and held her close to her chest.

Shivaay put his jacket on Anika's shoulder. Anika looked at him confused.

S- This oversized jacket will help you to enter the building with Pari.

Anika nodded her head and they went towards Shivaay's car. Shivaay helped Anika to sit at the passenger seat and he sat at the driver's seat. They finally drove towards their apartment, where a pleasant or unpleasant surprise was waiting for them.

They reached their building. OmRi who had just reached at the entrance of the building, saw their car entering the gates.

Gauri held Om's hand and they hid behind a pillar.

G- What is Shivaay and Anika doing together? Where did they go?

O- I know.

G- What? Where did they go?

Gauri said looking at Om keenly.

O- I said you're asking me as if 'I know'. 😂

Om said while smiling sheepishly. Gauri glared at him and hit his stomach with her elbow.

O- Owwww.

G- Good for you.

Shivaay parked the car at his spot.

A- Psycho, please made me wear stole otherwise everyone will notice Pari through jacket. I can't do it because I'm holding Pari.

S- Hmm.

Shivaay took the stole from backseat and stepped out of the car. He went towards the passenger seat and helped Anika to step out. He immediately wrapped the stole around her frame so that no one notice Pari.

Anika felt Pari moving a little in her embrace and she was clutching Anika's chest tightly and by mistake, Pari's nails were piercing Anika's skin. Anika immediately closed her eyes in pain.

A- Ouch.

Shivaay looked at her worriedly.

S- What happened, Nutsy?

A- Pari's nails are piercing my skin. I think she's afraid or she might be having some nightmare.

Shivaay was worried for Anika.

He rubbed Pari's back a little. He bent a little towards Anika and whispered in Pari's ear.

S- It's okay, princess. Everything's good. Calm down.

Pari relaxed a little and eased her hold a little, and Anika sighed in relief.

S- Are you okay?

Anika nodded her head.

There was Shivaay's car door in between which was blocking OmRi's view but still Shivika's action were visible through the car window. Om and Gauri's eyes widened in horror.

G- What the heck are they doing?

Om blushed a little.

O- How would I know, baby? 😂

Gauri glared at him.

G- Why will Anika hide such a big thing from me? That too, when they are romancing so openly.

O- Same, baby. 😐

Gauri looked at him with a frown.

G- Why will Anika tell you all this? 🤨

Om's eyes widened at her question.

O- No baby. I meant Shivaay. How can he hide this from me?

Gauri nodded in understanding.

They hid behind the pillar as they saw Shivaay and Anika going towards their apartment. They quietly followed them.

Suddenly, from nowhere, Vimmi aunty appeared in front of Shivika and they were shocked and cursed their fate. 🤦‍♀

V- Hello ji hello.

Shivika faked a smile and tried to sneak out but Vimmi aunty stopped them.

V- Where are you sneaking out? But I've noticed one thing that Tom and Jerry are spending so much time together nowadays. What's going on, puttarji? Where are you coming from? 🤨

Shivika mentally face palmed themselves.

A- Hospital.

Anika blurted out by mistake and bit her tongue while Shivaay glared at her. Vimmi aunty was as usual confused.

V- Hospital, but why? That day also you both were going to hospital. You know beta, going to hospital back to back is not good. What happened? Are you okay? You know cancer is very common nowadays. Even dengue. You know my cousin's mother-in- law's sister died because of cancer and my husband's cousin's daughter's father-in-law's mother died because of dengue. God knows what's happening nowadays. But you can contact me for herbal medicines. I'll give y.....

Shivaay was trying to speak in between but Vimmi aunty was continuously talking not giving him chance to speak.

S- I'M PREGNANT. 😱

Vimmi aunty and Anika looked at him shockingly.

V/A- WHAT?

S- Yes that's why we are going to hospital again and again. I'm pregnant and Nutsy is the fath.... No.. Mother of my child. Okay. Now let us go.

Vimmi aunty's head started spinning and she fell down on the floor while Shivika gasped in shock.

A- Aunty.

S- Let's go. Otherwise if she gains consciousness, she'll ask me 'puttar how did you get pregnant'. 🤭

Shivaay said while mimicking her. Anika folded her lips to control her chuckle.

They hurriedly went inside Anika's apartment.

Gauri and Omkara looked at each other shocked.

G- What the hell was that?

O- I knew that Shivaay was a casanova but how can he get pregnant? 😑

G- Shut up, Om. It's not possible. But did you see that they both went to Ani's apartment?

O- Yes.

G-Let's go then.

Here, as Shivika entered the apartment, Anika burst into laughter.

A- Oh my God! You and pregn..... Hahahhahahahh....

S- Ok. Ok. Stop Nutsy. I didn't have any other option.

A- Ya right... Hahahahahah...

Anika removed the stole and Unzipped the jacket and held Pari carefully in her arms. Pari was sleeping soundly.

A- Psycho, hold her for sometime, I'll go and prepare her milk. She must be hungry.

Shivaay nodded his head and held Pari in his arms, while Anika went to the kitchen.

Suddenly Pari woke up from her sleep and started crying due to hunger. Shivaay held her close to his chest and she rested her head on his shoulder.

Shivaay started walking and patting her back to make her calm.

S- Calm down baby. Milk is coming. Yaayy....

Suddenly the doorbell rang. Shivaay was so engrossed in Pari that he forgot that he has Pari in his arms and went to open the door. 🙄

As soon as he unlocked the door, the floor slipped underneath his feet after seeing Om and Gauri standing at the door.

They were equally shocked on seeing Shivaay there with a baby in his arms. Anika came there with the bottle of the milk in her hands.

She looked at the scene in front of her and face palmed herself.

A- Phail gaya raita. 🤦‍♀
