I woke up before Abel and decided to check out that tub. My body was still aching from my last shift, and I desperately needed a good soak, if I was supposed to do anything that day, that wasn't just laying around in bed. The shift was hard on my body, probably because my bones had to break apart, only reassemble themselves again. Especially my face, hands and feet hurt. My skull had to break so badly in order to make room for the snout, and then all the joints in my fingers and toes had to dislocate and prolong themselves. It was all a terrible and painful experience, and it didn't end when the shift did.
I filled the tub, poured in some bubbles and some salts, hoping it'd do wonders to my skin.
The tub itself was in the floor, ending by a floor-to-ceiling window, so you could soak and watch the mountains. It was absolutely divine. I wanted to live in this tub. I walked down the black and grey marble steps, stepping into the water, and getting comfortable against the side of it. It wasn't deep, so I could just sit on the bottom, my head above the soapy clouds and be submerged. It was long enough so I didn't need to bend my legs or anything.
It felt heavenly. The heat went straight to my bones. This was what I had so desperately needed.
I wasn't sure, how long I had been there when Abel found me.
"I see the tub has been broken in," he said with a sly smile. "Can I join you?"
"Yeah, of course. The water's perfect."
Abel stripped out of his clothes and slowly descended into the fluffy landscape. I went to his side and climbed into his lap.
"You're right. The water is perfect." He looked down at my chest, slowly running his hands up my back.
"The water, huh?" I asked, my voice breathy. I already had a hard time breathing. He honestly did wonders to me and my body all the time with just slight touches.
I didn't even realise; my chest was bare for a moment. I was able to forget it, even for a small moment, and when I became aware, I didn't mind. I had built that amount of trust in him that in that particular moment, I didn't care. I knew I'd care later. Maybe in five minutes, I'd care, and I'd have to cower in between the bubbles. But not right then. Right then I was enjoying how Abel was kissing my throat, probably building up to feeding on me. The anticipation was as thrilling as it was infuriating.
His hands were on the move too, and I knew I exactly what he wanted to do. I was all for it too. My body wasn't hurting anymore, though it was definitely aching for something much more pleasurable. God, he was so good. Like he'd kiss my body, then move back to my mouth when he'd do something that'd make me make dumb sounds. He'd swallow my moans as if they gave him life.
He grabbed my hips, getting me up on my knees, steadying himself so I could sit down on him. As he entered me, he bit down on my throat. I cried out, grabbing his shoulders, digging my nails into his skin. He growled and bit down harder. I couldn't function properly. I just sat there, moving my hips only slightly, just so I could feel him in me, but also so I wouldn't disturb him too much in his feeding. He slid his tongue over the bitemarks, neatly closing them up. I could finally move, and I did immediately. I was so far gone, and I probably sounded ridiculous, but I didn't give a single fuck. I was just living my best life, soaking in a mini-pool and fucking my boyfriend within an inch of his life.
I came rather explosively and wrapped my arms around him, hugging him closer. He hugged me back, panting, his chest rising and falling against mine.
And that's when I didn't like having my chest so exposed anymore. I probably froze up, because Abel got me out of his lap and fetched soft white bathrobes for us. He draped it around me and kissed the top of my head, as I walked up the stony steps from the pool.
"That sure was a way to start the day," he murmured into my hair.
"Wasn't that part of why we went on this trip?" I grinned.
"Yeah, I got you all the way to the mountains just so we could spend the entire time fucking."
"Oh no, the vampire has whisked me away to his castle, only to prey on me this entire time," I teased and pulled back, looking up at him. "I see no issues with that."
He chuckled and shook his head at me. "While it does sound good, I think we should get some food in you, and after that we'll see what we're in the mood for. How does that sound?"
"Amazing."
We ordered room service and sat in the massive bed with the pets, offering them bits of this and that. Dave happily lied beside me, occasionally pushing his snout against my arm when he wanted a slice of my breakfast. Abel fed Gary small bits of salmon whenever she meowed. He smiled so sweetly at the three-legged kitten. The gentleness of his love for her was entirely too precious.
"You're so good with her," I said softly, as I scratched Dave behind his ear.
"You think so? I've done a lot of research on how to properly care for a kitten but I'm still not sure I'm doing it right."
She crawled into his lap and tried to crawl up to his face, but he had to help her as climbing him with only one front leg wasn't the easiest. She settled on his shoulder, licking his hair.
"She loves doing that. It's cute, right?" He glanced at me without moving his head.
"Too cute." I reached over, touching her head but she shied away from me. She was warming up to me, but she still kept her distance. I was sure, she could feel the wolf in me. Near the shift she'd hide from me. Dave on the other hand, always got a lot more cuddly. I wasn't sure if it was because he could feel the wolf, or if he just felt I needed more support. Which I did. He was so good at snuggling up when I was sad or in pain. He was such a good boy.
We actually ended up staying the day in bed. Sometimes we'd be wearing robes and sometimes Abel would slip mine off me, kissing me everywhere.
I watched him heat up a mug of blood, buried in the soft covers of the bed. He came back when the microwave he had requested for our room beeped, announcing its finish.
"You look so cosy," he said as he joined me.
"I needed this. I'm so tired."
"Yeah, I figured you'd want to relax today. Also, why I booked four days for us." He kissed my forehead feather softly.
"I love you," I murmured, my eyes closed.
"And I love you, Gael."
I opened my eyes and looked at the cute boy next to me.
"I know you wanted to go hiking..."
"Don't even start. I knew booking a trip only days after your shift would mean you'd be more tired than usual. And it's completely fine. I like just staying in bed with you. It's the exact opposite of a problem."
He put his arm around me and pulled me close. I snuggled up to my amazing boyfriend. He scooted down a little so I could rest my head on his stomach.
We sat like that, watching telly, while Abel fed. He put his mug on the bedside table when he was done and buried his hand in my hair.
"Remind me to rinse that out before we leave. Don't wanna leave blood-stained mugs around for the cleaning staff."
"So considerate." I was getting really sleepy, and it could be heard on my voice for sure.
"It's also because it'd be pretty hard to explain to them. Like, 'oh hey, yeah, that's totally some tomato juice and not blood at all, haha.' I'd risk the donor if they did a DNA test too. So, it's also to protect them."
"Huh, I didn't even think about that."
"I kind of have to, you know? My parents raised me to always be careful. And request microwaves." He chuckled.
"It's good for me to know too. Then we can both be really careful. Minimise chances of getting caught and stuff."
"You're right." He smiled so cutely.
