  it feels kinda like everyone outside of this is trying to look in
draw the curtains and your gun
the clock tells me off instead of time
we're just tired of eachothers faces
lazy eyes stuck on maybes
fixated more than focused
the boys good for a headache
but i dont mean curing it
some call it stupid but i call it determination
kinda like that page you keep flipping back to- you know
the one you keep bookmarked for future references only
the way only your kisses to my eyelids seem to lure them into staying shut
the way you don't think your words are ever good enough but they're the only ones i want to hear
it's always either two steps ahead of the game or being kicked out of it
never just playing
my egos waving a white flag as insecurities take over
kinda frustrating how it seems like no one else sees what i see when i look in the mirror
yeah i dunno
sometimes we just need a break
sometimes we end up more of what we say than what we do

hopefully you'll see them all in the new video
maybe too since she is talking about planning on a visit
and stuff like saturday night live coming up in march give us something to look forward to
we got invited to the playboy mansion

sometimes i think we've made it but our grammy collecting dust on someone elses shelf tells me we've still got more to accomplish
