Thank you for reading! Can you answer a few questions?
Peter's Little Peter was a NaNoWriMo project. It was also my first time writing a story about teenagers. I know it sounds like a cliché, but I really couldn't have done it without your help! I'm grateful to you, the reader, for showing up everyday. Your presence made this story come alive.
Of course, this story isn't done-done. What you read was the first draft. Each morning throughout the month of November, I woke up early, logged onto Wattpad, and poured my heart and soul onto the page, er... screen.
That was a big change for me. I usually write in Word. Typically, I do numerous drafts before showing anything to my trusted beta readers. Often times, the stories you see on my Wattpad account are years in the making. The Wattpad versions of Not Safe for Work and Murder and Other Distractions, to pick just two, are very late drafts indeed.
In contrast, Peter's Little Peter was raw. I had some characters in mind. I had a loose plan, or rather an idea of how I wanted the story to end. But to say I had an outline, or that I was able to rewrite my copy before showing it to you would be a gross exaggeration. As I told one reader who took the time to leave dozens of encouraging comments, when it comes to writing this story, I'm literally only a day ahead of the readers. In other words, I was flying by the seat of my pants.
At some point, I'm sure I'll return to this story and make a few improvements, clean up the typos, clarify anything that doesn't make sense, and do whatever it takes to make this story the most kickass version of itself that it can possibly.
That's where you come in, readers!
If you could do me the favor of answering a few questions, I'd really appreciate it. Who knows, something you say might have a big impact on the next version of the book. After all, the comments many of you shared had a big impact on this, the first draft, of Peter's Little Peter.
