Young Peter!!

A/N Requested by IamKhrfan123

It had only been a little while since Tony had adopted young Peter, a four year old boy with curly chestnut brown hair and doe-like eyes that stared up at him with utter adoration.

Pepper had suggested that they had a day off to spend together, for Tony, fearing he would become his father, had avoided Peter slightly more than he should have. Luckily he realised that ignoring him would not make him not his father, so he decided to take Pepper's advice.

"So... what do you want to do?" Tony asked, watching as Peter sat on the couch opposite him, trying very much to sit like a 'big boy' but with his legs not even going off the edge of the couch, his socked feet just reaching the end.

"Um.... can I use your Ironman suit?!" Peter asked, eyes lighting up in excitement.

Tony chuckled slightly, ducking his head. "How about, we play some lego and listen to music? Doesn't that sound fun?"

Peter nodded his head eagerly, turning around to scuffle off the couch, wriggling down until his feet reached the ground. He then ran to his room, decorated with a lot of avengers merchandise and several wiggles things.

Tony followed him, knowing Peter wouldn't be able to pick up the heavy lego box at the end of his red car bed.

He did try though, heaving it up with all his might and stumbling backwards, though still showing off his baby teeth through his wide, excited grin.

Tony took the box from his hands, laughing slightly, and pretended to be struggling with the weight.

Back into the lounge they went, Tony and Peter emptying the lego onto one of Pepper's throw blankets, which was spread out on the floor like a picnic mat.

"What do you want to make?"

"Ironman!" Peter yelled, digging through the lego. Chuckling, Tony began to help Peter find all the red and yellow lego pieces, showing him how he could make certain parts move by using different parts.

They had just finished the lego ironman when the song changed from 'if you're happy and you know it' to 'baby shark'.

Tony had never liked this song, found it too repetitive and annoying, but it seemed Peter liked it, so he didn't change it.

"Daddy come dance with me!" Peter said, slapping his hands together like a crocodile. Tony wondered if Peter had gotten the shark mixed up with a crocodile, but got up anyway, and started copying Peter's dance moves- some, strangely from the chicken dance, with a lot of wiggling of the butt, clapping of hands and Peter's young voice mispronouncing the words as he sang along.

"Bay-bee shark dun dun dun dun dun dundun muh-meee shark dun dutt dun dutt dust dun dutt dun!" Peter sang, dancing, Tony awkwardly dancing beside the tiny boy but smiling all the same.

Eventually, the song came to an end, and Tony froze when he heard clapping.

Turning around, there stood the Avengers, some smirking and some (cough Steve cough) smiling and probably thinking it was the sweetest thing in the world.

Natasha was holding up a phone too.

"Nat I swear to god if you put that on the Internet-"

"Oops, my hand slipped." Nat said, face deadpan.

"Daddy!" Peter whispered, tugging on the edge of his track pants (or sweatpants as Americans call them I think) "It's the avengers!" He whispered excitedly.

Tony bent down and picked Peter up. "Guys, this is Peter, my adopted son. Peter, this is Steve, Natasha, Vision, Sam, Bucky, Wanda, Thor, Bruce and Clint."

Peter waved at them all, his face alight with awe. The avengers hadn't yet met Peter, for they had been very busy over the last two weeks or so.

Sam accidentally stepped forward slightly, accidentally stepping on the lego ironman.

Peter's face crumpled up in dismay, looking absolutely horrified that his lego ironman was now broken.

"Ironman!" He cried, and Tony grimaced slightly- they had spent so long on it. It was almost like losing one of his real suits.

"Why don't I let you try on one of the real ironman helmets, hm?" He asked, in attempts to cheer him up. The wheels on the bus had now started playing, and Tony could tell Clint wanted to smash the music player into a hundred pieces.

Peter immediately cheered up, wriggling out of Tony's arms to the floor and running over to the elevator, leaning all his weight on Tony's hand to make him move faster. He wasn't making much progress.

The moment Peter and Tony were gone, Natasha turned to the other Avengers. "I dibs best auntie."

"Aw, but I wanted to be best auntie!" Clint whined, standing next to the smashed music player.

Natasha just clenched her jaw and glared. "Bring it on Barton."

A/N sorry it's short! Thanks for reading, have a nice day :)
