Happy Birthday
Peter yawned, sitting up in his bed, blankets entangled around his legs, looking around the room groggily.
His spider senses were going off, and he had no idea why, looking around the room with furrowed eyebrows, wiping a little drool off his mouth with his hand.
His question was quickly answered as the vents suddenly opened and out fell Clint, hitting the ground with an 'oof'. Seconds later, Natasha came out, landing on top of him in a perfect superhero pose.
"Happy Birthday Peter," Natasha said kindly, stepping off Clint, who was groaning in pain.
Peter grinned. "Thanks Auntie Tasha." He looked down at where Clint was still groaning. "Is he okay?"
"Eh, he's had worse. Put a shirt on, the others are waiting."
Peter glanced down, realising he hadn't worn a shirt to bed, and blushed slightly, catching the t-shirt that Natasha threw at him. He pulled it over his head, glancing at the time on his alarm clock- seven thirty eight.
Clint still hadn't moved from the the ground as Natasha lead Peter out of his room, leaving Clint there.
"Traitors!" Clint called out to their retreating backs, still not getting up.
"You know it Barton!" Natasha replied cheekily, arm around Peter's shoulders to stop the guilty boy from turning around.
"Happy birthday Peter!" Tony, Steve, Wanda, Vision, Pepper, Bucky, Sam, Thor, Bruce, and Rhodey said simultaneously as Peter entered the room, some wearing party hats and some holding party poppers, which they showered Peter with.
"Thank you?" Peter said, not quite sure what to say. Tony chuckled, ruffling his hair.
"We made pancakes!" Wanda said excitedly, pointing towards the massive plate of pancakes at the table, with hundreds upon hundreds of pancakes and various toppings ranging from sprinkles, chocolate sauce, ice cream, fruit and whipped cream.
Steve led Peter to the table, where they all sat down, making sure Peter had what he wanted before they dug in themselves.
It was a delicious meal, and Peter was almost sure that Vision had nothing to do with it- he was notorious for ruining meals, he just wasn't good at cooking.
Not that he told him that of course- he always reassured the man that he loved his meals, when he was internally trying not to gag.
After breakfast, Peter was sat down on the couch while everyone pulled out their presents.
It was overwhelming to see how much everyone had gotten him.
Pepper had bought him a suit, one very similar to Tony's.
Rhodey had bought him a dog tag necklace and a bunch of lollies.
Steve had given him a frame with a charcoal sketch of Peter, him and Bucky, similar to a selfie that Peter had once taken with them.
Tony bought him a car- like an actual car, that he could drive once he got lessons- and a new Spider-Man suit, which Peter thought was awesome.
Wanda gave him a couple of science books.
Vision gave him a box of brownies ("gee, thanks Vis, I can't wait to eat these.").
Thor gave him an asguardian sword, like actual sword, that was sharp and everything, which Peter thought was awesome.
Bruce gave him a science kit, fit with everything he might ever need- safety glasses to lab coat.
Sam gave him some lego sets, which Peter couldn't wait to do with Ned.
Soon, all that was left was Natasha, Clint and Bucky.
Natasha's present was an official looking document, which she held out to him with a pen.
"Sign here." She told him, pointing to a line.
Peter frowned, looking down at the document. "Is this- holy sh!t Auntie Tasha this is an adoption form!"
"I know. Don't you wanna have Auntie Tasha be your mother?" She said, grinning innocently.
"Hey hey hey, that was my idea! He was going to be my third son!" Clint said, waving around an identical form.
"I think Peter would prefer to have Grandma Bucky become Mother Bucky." Bucky drawled, holding up yet another adoption form.
"It was my idea first! Peter wants to have siblings-"
"Peter, Clint already has three kids, so you'd only get a quarter of his love if you chose him. Choose me, your Auntie Tasha, I'll give all my love to you, nobody else will get an ounce." Natasha interupted, shoving the form into Peter's hands.
"Don't you want me Peter? Who gives you lollies and ice creams without Steve knowing? And provides the best hugs, and naps-"
"Excuse you! I'll have you know-"
Peter didn't know what to do, watching as Clint, Natasha and Bucky started fighting over him, all wanting to adopt him. It was the most unexpected thing to happen to him since some random girl proclaimed her love to him in year four.
He glanced over at the others, only to see Steve trying to look exhasperated but actually just laughing, while Tony watched, arms folded, and Rhodey looked confused. Wanda was shaking with laughter, as was Sam.
Vision was watching with a perplexed expression, and Thor was watching like it was his favourite television show.
"Uh, guys?" Peter asked, deciding it was time to intervene.
Bucky, Natasha and Clint paused in their fighting, turning to look at Peter, who was looking rather tentative.
"Um, I really appreciate that you guys care about me- but I think it's best that we just keep things how they are at the moment."
Clint looked disappointed but Natasha and Bucky seemed understanding.
"Let me know if you change you mind." Bucky told him, winking.
Peter nodded, watching as they folded up and put away the adoption papers.
"I got you something else as well." Natasha told him, handing him a couple of video games wrapped in blue and red spider-man themed wrapping paper.
Clint handed him a bow and arrow, one of his old ones apparently, and Bucky gave him a jar of humbugs (a strange English lolly apparently) along with a fancy old fashioned watch.
After presents, Peter put most of them away in his room and changed out of his pyjama shorts, getting ready for a day full of fun.
They started off with an intense game of capture the flag using the city, telling the police beforehand that it was a training session.
The funniest part of that was that Tony hadn't gotten all the bedazzle off his suit from when Natasha and Wanda bedazzled it, something Peter had gone and done to the rest of Tony's suits when he found out that a bedazzler existed.
So now Tony was flying around with a half pink suit, BOOTY written in rhinestones across the butt part. There was also a large hello kitty sticker on his back, and his face plate looked like an anime girls face.
It was by far the most hilarious and disturbing thing Peter had seen in his life, and the public seemed to agree, pictures and videos of IronWoman appearing all over the web, becoming viral within just a couple of hours.
In Peter's team was Tony, Natasha, Steve, and Bucky, and on the other team was Wanda, Rhodey, Thor, Clint, Sam, and Vision. Bruce decided to sit this one out- he wasn't really into these sorts of things.
"The flag is in sight. They haven't spotted me yet." Peter said, looking at the big fluro pink flag on the top of one of the skyscrapers in the distance. Their flag was on Stark tower, and their jail was in the lobby of the tower. So far, Sam and Thor were in the jail and Bucky was guarding it.
Natasha and Peter were in charge of trying to get the flag, and Steve and Tony were in charge of guarding the flag and making sure nobody got into their territory.
"Stay hidden, Vision's looking for intruders, he almost caught me." Natasha told him through the comms.
"Roger that," Peter said, smiling at his reference. "Or should I say, Steve that-"
"Peter, no, that's not funny." Tony interupted. Peter pouted.
"But it's my birthday-"
"No. Just no."
Peter huffed, looking around to see if Vision was nearby. "Hey Auntie Tasha, do you think you could cause a distraction? Just keep Vision busy, I think I can get the flag."
"Steve that Peter."
Peter grinned beneath his Spider-Man mask. "See dad, Auntie Tasha understands-"
"She's just being nice because you're her favourite. Saying Steve that isn't funny-"
"Yeah yeah I get the idea," Peter interupted, sighing as he swung closer to the tower, making sure to stay hidden.
"Vision caught a glimpse of me, he's on my case now. Go ahead Peter, be wary of Clint, Rhodes and Wanda." Natasha told him.
"Got it!" Peter said, swinging up to the tower and pausing on a nearby building. He could see Clint in the distance with his arrows, and Rhodey flying around to find intruders. Wanda must be with the flag, he realised.
He swung over to Clint, dodging an arrow that was shot in his direction. He landed in front of Clint and webbed him up- now he wouldn't be able to shoot arrows at him.
He knew he had only a few minutes before Rhodey came after him, so he swung over to the building, about to grab the flag when he started floating.
He turned around and saw Wanda using her magic to make him float, and quickly shot some webs so her hands couldn't move, so they were bound completely together and to her body.
"Sorry Wanda," Peter said apologetically, grabbing the flag.
He quickly webbed a nearby building and started swinging back to the tower, determined to win the game.
"Peter I've been caught, you're on your own." Natasha's voice said through the comms.
He could hear the roar of Rhodey's engines behind him and moved out of the way to avoid a couple of sticky darts shot at him that wouldn't hurt him but would tag him. He thanked his lucky stars that he had spidey senses.
The tower was getting closer and closer- he could see Tony coming closer to shoot at Rhodey, and Steve running over with his shield, but he knew Steve wouldn't throw it at Rhodey- it had the ability to make him fall from the air, and could hurt him.
Peter swung faster and faster, arms beginning to burn and sweat accumulating under his armpits. The tower was so close- he just had to get to the balcony, where their flag was waiting, and they would have won the game.
Rhodey was getting ever closer as Peter climbed up the walls of Avengers Tower, and he quickly shot a web at the balcony, pulling him up instantly.
He laid on the ground, panting, and raised his arm with the pink flag, waving it in the air to signal that they had won.

They all sat at the table, eating a late lunch, all exhausted.
"It's not fair, he has webs and spidey senses..." Clint grumbled, still pulling webbing off him.
"You had magic." Natasha pointed out, pulling the pickles out of her sandwich.
"Still..." Clint mumbled, stabbing a piece of lettuce with his fork violently, the noise of Thor stuffing half a sandwich in his mouth at once the only other noise in the room, except for everyone else's quiet munching noises.
It was silent for the rest of the meal, except for Thor choking on said sandwich and spraying bits of chewed up food all over the table. It was not surprising that Sam lost his appetite when a bit landed on his food.
After lunch, Peter changed out of his sweaty clothes again and into party clothes, excited to see Ned and MJ for his birthday party.
Ned arrived only ten minutes later, wearing his party hat and everything. He was super excited to see everything that Peter got, and when he saw the avengers, well...
"Ned, this is Bucky, Tony, Steve, Natasha, Clint, Vision, Wanda, Thor, Bruce and Rhodey. Antman's arriving later." Peter said, pointing to each of them in turn.
Ned's mouth had fallen open as he stared at the Avengers in an excited awe, his wide eyes turning to look at Peter with the gleam Peter knew he got when he was overexcited.
A small squeak escaped Ned's mouth, and he realised he hadn't talked yet.
"Oh, I'm Ned Leeds Mr and Mrs and ma'am's and sirs Avengers." He said, not quite sure what to say.
"Pleased to meet you Ned." Steve said kindly, shaking his hand. "I have to go help finish setting up, but tell me if you need anything." He left, and as did the other avengers once they had greeted Ned.
The moment they were alone, Ned turned around and tugged on Peter's arm. "Dude! I shook Captain America's arm!" He shrieked, jumping up and down.
"I know Ned, I was there." Peter said, chuckling.
"Oh did you see that picture on Snapchat? The one of IronMan with Booty on his butt-"
"Yeah it was hilarious, Tony almost grounded me but it's my birthday so," Peter shrugged noncholantly.
"You did that?" Ned gasped.
"Kind of, Auntie Tasha did it first, and I thought it was a great idea so I did it to all his suits. Apparently it's really hard to get off." Peter giggled at this, smiling. "I think Auntie Tasha has a video of his reaction, you can ask to see if you want."
While Ned started trying to work up the courage to ask Natasha for the footage, MJ arrived, wearing a pretty dress, her dark curls tugged into a low, loose bun that looked really pretty. She still didn't wear makeup, but she was beautiful without it anyway.
"Nice party Peter." She said, biting into some toast.
"Where'd you get the toast?" Ned asked, eyebrows scrunched in puzzlement.
"The kitchen." MJ told him, as though this was obvious. Nobody decided to tell her that there wasn't a kitchen on that floor, MJ always had a way.
The three had a great time that night, drinking too much soft drinks and nibbling on the random fancy foods that waiters were carrying around. They had cake around ten pm, many many people singing happy birthday to him, cheering as he blew out the candles.
The cake was delicious, a chocolate mud cake with icing that spelt out his name and freckles and mnms all over the outside edges.
Peter was first to fall asleep around one in the morning, the three friends sitting on the couches near the large window overlooking the city. MJ fell asleep next, and Ned fell asleep last.
Steve gently woke them up at two am, guiding them up somewhere quieter where they got ready for bed themselves.
MJ and Ned texted their parents, telling them they were staying with Peter for the night, and MJ borrowed some of Natasha's pyjamas, though only after she had Peter text for permission.
They all slept in Peter's room on mattresses, not even having the strength to talk anymore as they fell asleep.
The next morning, after breakfast, Ned and MJ had to go home, and Tony had a press conference to try to quiet down the whole cerfuffle surrounding his bedazzled suit. Peter came to watch, as did Natasha, Pepper, and Steve.
Tony cleared his throat, standing in front of the podium.
"I would like to sincerely apologise to those who had to see me like that." He continued on a long apology, and eventually came to a stop. "That being said," he paused for dramatic effect, watching as they all leaned in closer with their microphones.
"It was all Romanoff's fault." He said, pointing at Natasha in a childlike manner. Peter immediately snorted, covering his mouth with his hand.
Tony left the stage, and Natasha walked up, lip twitching as though she was trying not to smile. At first, Natasha paused, her eyes boring calmly into the reporters.
"I have no regrets." She told them. "You can find footage of his reaction on all my social media accounts, they're all NatRomanoff, and my youtube channel, HawkeyeSucks. Please check it out, it's hilarious."
She left without saying anything else, joining Peter again.
"You have a youtube channel called HawkeyeSucks?" Peter asked, looking as though all his dreams had just come true.
"Yep. You better subscribe."
Peter was already pulling out his phone, fumbling with it to find the youtube app.
"Oh you betcha Auntie Tasha, can't believe I'm only finding out about this now..."
