Somebode Stop Me
Peter has a secret.
Every reader just collectively groaned.
When he was 12, he asked May and Ben to take him to a movie audition because he was young and thought he would be a famous movie star when he grew up. They humored him and took him to the movie audition, where he read the script.
They were stunned when he got a callback because they never thought it was going anywhere. Not that he wasn't good, the chances were just slim and Peter didn't always have the best luck. Peter got the part in a movie called The Impossible. He got a rather large check, and the three of them took a nice vacation.
But he wanted to keep living his life the way he was, so he told the directors and everyone to put him name in the credits as Tom Holland. He continued sound movies under that name for years, until he lost Ben. He felt like he had a huge weight on his shoulders and dropped the acting role.
Luckily the small family still had a lot of his money in a savings account, so they could still afford the apartment without Ben's paycheck. May didn't want to take away from Peter's earning and picked up some extra jobs to prevent, using it as a last resort.
When he became Spider-Man, he knew he wouldn't go back to movies because he never would have time to sleep.
Then, he was offered a voice over in a Pixar film, and its PIXAR so he has to say yes. He did it in pieces and it took forever, but he knew that it was worth it when he and May went to see the movie and she turned to him and hit him on the shoulder.
"You can't just do a Pixar movie and not tell me!" She whisper shouted as they walked out of the theatre. His shoulders shook with his laughter.
"Looks like I did." He said in between laughs.
After that, he remembered how much he loved acting. So he came out of his hibernation to do more movies.
One day, a ways down the road, he was sitting on the couch, braiding Nat's red and blonde hair while she scrolled through her phone. "Hey, lets go see a movie. The whole group of us!" He suggested.
"I think we'd all love that Пуак. I'll look at times. Fri, send a group text telling everyone we're going to the movies." Nat said. He finished braiding her hair as she booked tickets.
"We're seeing Chaos Walking." Nat said on the car ride there. Peter's eyes widened. That was his most recent movie, with Daisy Ridley. Speaking of, he's really got to see her again. Maybe they could go to lunch or something.
Not the thing you should be thinking about right now Peter. Peter shook his head as he got back in track. "Uh, can't we see something else. That looks so dumb." He said, trying not to panic.
Nat smirked, turning into the parking lot. "No, Tom, we're seeing this." He gulped.
"You knew." It wasn't a question, but she wandered anyway.
"Of course I knew." She scoffed. He groaned and banged his head on the dashboard.
"Anyone gonna fell the people that don't speak spider what's going on?" Clint asked, raising an eyebrow at Nat through the rear view mirror.
"Nope." Peter said, head still on the dashboard. "Too busy planning my funeral."
Nat laughed.
"It'll be fine Паук." She patted his back. "Everybody out."
They all got out of the car and settled into the movie theatre with their snacks. Peter pulled his hoodie over his face and spunk down in his chair, texting Daisy before the movie started.
My family is dragging me to see Chaos Walking. I want to die.
They were talking for a while before the lights dimmed and he was forced to put his phone away and watch the movie.
When the movie started, he could feel the stares of his family as he slid down the seat further.
When it was over, they were all silent the whole ride home, except for Nat, who was chatting to him about his last date with Mj, in which he gave her a surprise gift: a training session with Nat.
When they got home, he sat in the couch and took out his phone, frantically texting May.
May we went to the movies.
We saw Chaos Walking.
We just got home.
They didn't say anything the whole ride home.
Except Nat, who already knew.
May help me.
May I want orchids in my casket.
You'll be fine honey.
No I won't but I appreciate the gesture.
Peter saw that Tony was coming into the room and quickly sat up, putting his phone away.
"Uh, hi, Mr. Stark." He said, nervous.
"Hey, Pete. I was wondering why you didn't tell me about the whole movie thing?" He said, his voice was soft.
"I was embarrassed." Peter said, eyes on his sneakers.
"Embarrassed? Why? You're a great actor." Peter knew Tony was walking on eggshells, because there were a lot of explosions in the movie, and if he wasn't careful a sensory overload would soon follow.
"Well it's weird! I didn't want to be treated differently, so I did it under a fake name. I just didn't think it was worth mentioning. 'Oh hey! I've been in movies since I was 12! Just thought you'd want to know!'" Peter grimaced at the thought.
"Well, I guess it would've been weird but we don't judge you for doing what you want to." Tony said, shrugging as he sat next to Peter on the couch. Peter collapses onto his lap and Tony's hand runs thought Peter's tangled curls absentmindedly.
"Yeah. Thanks Dad." Peter says. His eyes widen and he looks up at Tony.
"God, I've been waiting for you to call me that." Tony smiled at him and hugs him.
"I love you Pete." Tony mumbled to him as thy touched foreheads, before pulling Peter began snuggling his head into the crook of Tony's neck.
"Love you took Dad."
