Secret

Pete had a secret. A secret that only Gia and Karen knew. Not MJ, not Ned, not even Nat knew about Peter's biggest secret in the world. He was a writer. He wrote books under a pseudonym "Parker Reept" and his publishers had no idea he was a fifteen-year-old when they signed his books five years ago. He's released four books in that time and the fifth one dropped tomorrow.

Peter's fifth book, Touch Of A Human, drops tomorrow. It's the long awaited sequel to Kiss of a Demon. The only problem? Tony, Bruce, and Steve are all big fans of him as an author and are dragging the whole team down for the midnight release.

— Took me an hour to come up with the book plots aye—

Peter was sitting on the couch watching the news to see what was happening around the world but the only thing seemed to take over the news. "People here are lined up outside their local Barnes and Nobles waiting for midnight. It seems that Parker Reept has brought people together all over the world with his writing." Peter immediately flipped the channel, not wanting to hear about it. He put on Star Wars for an hour until Steve ran in. "Hey! Peter! We've got to go!" Peter rolled his eyes and grabbed one of Tony's stark tablets so he could work on something, anything to keep his mind off the fact that he was going to his own book release. On the car ride there Tony was jumping up and down with excitement. "Dad why are you so excited?" Tony turned to Peter. "Peter, you don't understand how big of a deal this is. I have been waiting to see if Ramona gets out of that cave for four years. Four years! I still can't believe Dawn put her in a cave because she found out about Ramona's mother. It's ridiculous." Bruce gasped dramatically. "No way you would betray me like this? Tony Dawn was so in the right in that situation! If you finally learn to trust someone after being told that their kind are creatures of hell for all your life and then, you come out strong and together. They defeated the titans, Romana is the queen of the demons... and then Ramona's mother turns out to be the one that KILED the ONLY PERSON Dawn had LEFT in her life! I would do the same thing!" Steve cut in. "But Demons need their mate! It's in the book, clearly written. After the demon and their mate exchange 'I love you' for the first time, the demon needs to be within 50 meters at all times or the demon loses their minds. And what does Dawn do? Up and leaves Ramona!" Peter was smiling in the seat next to Tony. He lived that people got so riled up about his books. It made him happy he could get someone so deep into the story that the world around them melts away. "But Dawn list her parents, her uncle, her cousin, and her first love to one hurricane and the only person she can blame for all of their deaths is Mother Nature. Then Trent Pabioro is able to pick up his life and get married. But Dawn never moves on until Ramona. Then she loses Trent, and she finally gets to blame someone for it but she doesn't get to because right away that person dies. So when Dawn finally has a place she can let out that anger and fire and hatred and sadness and loss, man I can't believe you guys aren't with me on this." Peter not the inside of his cheek to refrain from spoiling the new book. Steve and Bruce were going to die when they reach the twist. "What if- and I'm just stirring the pot here- Ramona was in on it?" Peter knew that wasn't true, of corse not. He would never do that to Ramona. No the real twist was that Trent, when he was six, was kidnapped and killed by Ramona's mother. He was replaced with a demon that had a spell cast on him to look the same. He was gathering intel on Dawn who was prophesied to tame the demon queen (Ramona). Ramona was given an oath that she would never love a human and was sent out to Dawn. 'Trent' was 'killed' and Ramona realized she was in love with Dawn and killed her mother, making her the demon queen, and she revoked her oath and sent 'Trent' to banishment only to be shunned by Dawn. Oh how he loved to make his readers suffer. He was a real Rick Riordan type of author. "Thank you, Peter! Dawn was prophesied to tame the demon queen! Ramona snuck into Dawns heart to snuff out any other possible threats and she lured Dawn in for the kill. Only for Dawn to be SMART and put her in the cave." Steve was wearing a Dawn hoodie as he said this, and kept pointing at it whenever he said her name. Peter is also a great and realistic artist so the book had pictures so you knew how he pictured the characters Tony was visibly shaking. "Ramona would never do that! NEVER! She loved Dawn with all her heart! No way in Kongerige Demoner the name of the demon kingdom so that's how they say hell now because I want it would she EVER hurt Dawn like that ON PURPOSE. She would rather KILL her mother than join forces with her against Dawn. KILL HER OWN MOYHER FOR DAWN AND YOU THINK SHES IN ON IT!! I can't even look at you I'm rereading Ramona's coronation." Tony pulled his book out. "Honestly I still can't believe that Ramona seduced Dawn quick enough to get her take out the enemies of her kingdom. I really wished that the Titans wiped out the Kongerige Demoner before Dawn was ever a part of their story." Steve said. Tony flipped him off. They pulled up to Barnes and Nobles. The line was already halfway around the building. Peter noticed a lot of people were cosplaying with Trent's iconic died silver and blue hair, along with his classic fish t-shirt. One person ever put fake blood on their chest. Peter got on line next to his parents and Bruce. Bruce and Steve were bickering about what outfit was more iconic (Dawn's black romper and red cape or dawns red leather jacket and black cocktail dress) (Peter personally was with Steve. She kept three knives in the back of that cocktail dress, killed three titans in it, and the blood didn't even hit her dress. But the romper was when she first met Ramona and tried to push her in front of a car, so you could argue either) and Tony had already found someone cosplaying as Trent's husband Nico Ntalbrt. Peter stood awkwardly in his Dawn hoodie that Bruce got him for Christmas. He takes out the tablet and begins work on The Lost Fingers, the sequel to The Mangled Eyes. Suddenly, he stops. His senses began to hum slowly and he realizes it's almost midnight. He pulls the three avengers together. "Alright. You guys paid already right? You went online to get the signed ones?" Tony nods frantically. "I heard he found out that the three of us bought signed copies and made special inscriptions." Peter smiled at him softly. It was true. He had told them "Thanks for saving our asses so much" with his pseudonym signature and little drawings of their favorite character. An alarm sounded. "IT'S MIDNIGHT!" Bruce screeched and ran towards the doors. They got in there so quickly yet slowly. Half the shelf was already gone. They got to the desk and squished in. "Stark, Banner, and Rogers here for pickup." The cashier, awestruck, got their books and handed it to them. They grabbed their books and ran to the car. Peter drove home so they could dive into the books. That was the whole reason he came. "OH MY HOD MINE HAD A DRAWING OF DAWN!" Steve squealed as soon as he hit in the car. "MINE HAS RAMONA!" Tony squeaked, both equally very manly. Bruce skipped the inscription, saying he's read it later and dove straight it. His eyes were already bugged out. Peter laughed. "You guys come find me when your done and give me your rants."

I got attached to the characters and I hope some of you did too so I'm not going insane so I mapped out the rest of the series. Might do a part 2 if your into it.
