To Peter, history was the most boring subject taught in school. He would much rather have listened to Steve or Bucky's stories, because those were at least Interesting. But no, he had to learn about ancient Mesopotamia for the eighth time. He didn't even know why he didn't skip this period.

To be fair, no sirens had sounded, and that was probably a good reason why he hadn't left yet.

He was almost asleep when his ears picked up a siren. Immediately, his hand was in the air.

"Yes, Mr. Parker?" Droned the old teacher boredly.

" Can I go to the nurse, I'm not feeling the greatest right now. " Peter pleaded.

The teacher bought it, and let him go. Needless to say, he didn't return to history. Or school, at all.

Peter ran out of the school and hurriedly put his suit on in an alley. He stuck a web on his backpack and swung towards where many sirens were ringing. He even heard the radios as he got closer:

"A fire on Bleeker street, I repeat a fire."

" More ambulances, almost all the houses have injured people. "

"We've got some.. Exotically dressed people refusing to leave their house- it's the only one not on fire, but it will be soon."

Peter landed with a thud in front of some firemen.

"What can I do to help, sir?" Peter questioned, hoping for some orders.

"We've got most of the people out, but there's a commotion over there." The man said, pointing. " Can you help? "

With a nod and a salute, Spider-Man was off. When he reached 'the commotion' he realized he knew the people.

"Mr. Wizard? Is that you?"

With a sigh, the man responded. "Dr. Strange, and how are you... Spiderman?"

Peter nodded. "Good, Good." To the officer, " What seems to be the problem here, lads? "

A pudgy officer spoke up. "It's a hazard to be here, but they won't leave, sir."

Peter chuckled. "They are more than capable of us doing themselves. There are others that need your help, officers."

reluctantly, the three officers left.
