Fridays are often classified as a good day, not like their counterpart, Monday. Fridays have this reputation for parties, freedom, for being a day that doesn't suck as much as the others.
Peter figured it was true, as he walked through the hallways with Ned and MJ. After all, there wasn't any homework, and people had been avoiding him for once, instead of bothering him with jokes at his expense.
It was probably the knives.
Ever since yesterday, when Peter was outed as an 'Avenger', or at least close with them, and was found to always be in possession of at least ten daggers, people had been giving him a wide berth.
Of course, there were always those kids that would approach him cautiously and ask if they could have one, or see one, touch one, etc.
Peter didn't know what to say to those kids. "Um yeah sure, just don't cut off your finger lol"
No. He couldn't do that.
So, instead, he just laughed like he thought they were joking. And what were the kids going to do, keep talking to the dude that has daggers everywhere? Hah, you're funny.
It wasn't a great strategy, but it worked.
At lunch this Friday, Peter sat where he always did, with Ned across from him and MJ down the table. No one new sat with them, they had all learned by now that lunch with the Nerds was a sacred time, and not to be interrupted.
Ned was chewing on what looked like a peanut butter and marshmallow sandwich, when he paused and asked Peter a question. "So, dude, can I like... see your knife?"
Peter was surprised that Ned had gone this long without asking, to be honest.
"Sure dude. Which one?"
Ned furrowed his brows. "Which one? You bring more than one to school?"
While Peter took out a short one with a leather handle, he responded, "Well, you never know when you're gonna need..." he paused for a moment, as if counting in his head, "ten daggers."
Peter pushed the knife across the table, and Ned looked at it in awe. "Dude, how have you not gotten suspended for carrying weapons?"
"Tony got them passed off as Avengers gear that I need to keep on me at all times. Although, they asked me to carry less stuff, so I toned down the daggers, and no guns, but I have the Widow Bites still and by web shooters."
Ned nodded and passed the dagger back.
"Hey, you can keep this one. I'll give it to you after school."
Ned looked like he might explode. "No way, dude. Serious?"
MJ slid down from her place on the opposite end of the table. "You got one for me, loser?"
Peter thought for a moment, squinting his eyes at MJ. "Hmm... I think I have a sword in my locker. It's wrapped in my gym clothes so it might smell a bit, but it's got some purple and white jewels on it, and is probably the right size. You down?"
"Absolutely. Who am I to pass down a sword? What do I owe you?"
He had to think again. He was going to say nothing, but... "You guys have to come over and take self defense classes with Nat so that you can use these properly."
Ned laughed. "You think I'd say no to time with the Black Widow? Dude, that's basically you fulfilling my dreams."
Peter shrugged. "Well, I don't want my best friends getting hurt."
MJ and Ned smiled at that.

The classes with Natasha went well, and Loki even joined in sometimes. MJ did very much like the sword, and she was good at using it. Ned's dagger suited him, and soon the three teens were running around with their weapons causing chaos in the Tower.
Loki and Natasha watched with pride, but Steve and Bruce were kind of horrified.
Bucky wood toss the teens a thumbs up whenever they went after Sam, and Tony would walk right out of the room if they were there, and were armed.
Principal Morita was very stressed, having to deal with three armed kids, but after a while he forgot about it, because they never took out their weapons in school.
