Inside the Inventing Room almost felt like you had walked into a futuristic space station. All of the machines looked so odd but all of them had a purpose. This was the most important room in the entire factory. (Y/N) told everyone to look around and enjoy themselves but not to touch anything. Everyone left to have a look around. Yelena and Flash went over to a giant tub where an Oompa Loompa was swimming in.

At the bottom were balls that were being shot into the water. Yelena asked (Y/N) what it was. She came over and took one of the balls from the Oompa Loompa. (Y/N) explained that they were Everlasting Gobstoppers. They were for children who are given a very little allowance. You can suck on the Gobstoppers all year and they'll never get any smaller. Yelena compared it to Gum. (Y/N) corrected her that Gum was for chewing, and if you tried chewing the Gobstoppers, it would break all of your teeth. At least they taste good.

(Y/N) moved into another machine that made Hair Toffee. If you had one of these, you'd grow hair on your head and face within half an hour. Flash asked her who wanted a beard. (Y/N) started naming off people like beatniks, folk singers, and motorbike riders. Unfortunately, the recipe wasn't complete yet. An Oompa Loompa tried one the day before and, well, let's just say he now looks like Cousin It from the Addams Family. (Y/N) moved onto another invention she was quite proud of. She pushed a lever and the machine began to work its magic. They waited until the machine extended an arm and let out a single piece of gum which Yelena took. 

"You mean that's it?" Flash asked (Y/N)

"Do you even know what 'it' is?" (Y/N) asked him

"It's gum," Yelena said

"Yeah. It's a stick of the most amazing and sensational gum in the whole universe. Know why? Know why? Because this gum is a full three-course dinner all by itself," (Y/N) giggled

"Why would anyone want that?" Tony asked

Not remembering, (Y/N) took out her cards and looked for the one explaining the gum.

"'It will be the end of all kitchens and all cooking. Just a little strip of Wonka's magic chewing gum and that is all you will...'," (Y/N) flipped over another card, "'...ever need at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This piece of gum happens to be tomato soup, roast beef, and blueberry pie'."

"It sounds great," Ben said smiling

"lt sounds weird," Morgan said

"lt sounds like my kind of gum," Yelena said spitting out her gum and putting it behind her ear.

"I'd rather you didn't. There are still some things that are--"

"I'm the world-record holder in chewing gum," Yelena interrupted (Y/N), "I'm not afraid of anything."

Yelena put the gum in her mouth and started chewing. (Y/N) knew this was going to go very wrong.

"How is it, honey?" Melina asked smiling

"It's amazing!" Yelena said amazed, "Tomato soup. I can feel it running down my throat."

"Yeah. Spit it out," (Y/N) told her

"Young lady, I think you'd better--"

"It's changing," Yelena interrupted Ben, "Roast beef, with a baked potato. Crispy skin and butter."

"Keep chewing kiddo," Melina encouraged, "My little girl's gonna be the first person to have a chewing-gum meal."

"Yeah. I'm just a little concerned about the--"

"Blueberry pie and ice cream!" Yelena said

"That part," (Y/N) finished her sentence

"What's happening to her nose?" Morgan asked looking at Yelena

There was a small spot that started growing until her whole nose had gone purple

"Yelena, you're turning violet! What's happening?" Melina asked (Y/N)

"Well, I told you I hadn't quite got it right. Because it goes a little funny when it gets to the dessert. It's the blueberry pie that does it. I'm terribly sorry," (Y/N) said before hiding

Soon Yelena's skin had completely turned purple, along with her hair. Her clothes changed to match her new skin tone. Not only that, she started to swell up, getting bigger and bigger in both size and height until she had become a giant blueberry. (Y/N) slowly came up behind Melina.

"I've tried it on, like, twenty Oompa-Loompas, and each one ended up as a blueberry. It's just weird," (Y/N) said 

"But I can't have a blueberry as a daughter. How is she supposed to compete?" Melina asked her

"You could put her in a county fair," Morgan said

(Y/N) giggled at Morgan's comment but Melina was far from amused. The machinery around them started making a tune for another Oompa Loompa song. 

'Listen close, and listen hard to the tale of Yelena Vostokoff. This gentle girl, she sees no wrong in chewing, chewing, chewing, chewing, chewing, chewing all day long. Chewing, chewing all day long. Chewing, chewing all day long. Chewing, chewing all day long. Yeah!'

The Oompa Loompas started to roll Yelena away while three jumped on top of her. 

'She goes on chewing till, at last, her chewing muscles grow so vast and from her face, her giant chin.'

'Sticks out just like a violin,' one said

'Chewing, chewing all day long. Chewing, chewing all day long. Chewing, chewing all day long.'

The three on top of Yelena turned into five when two more jumped on and made a pyramid. The one more to complete it. 

'For years and years, she chews away. Her jaws get stronger every day and with one great, tremendous chew.'

'They bite the poor girl's tongue in two.'

'And that is why we try so hard.'

'To save Miss Yelena Vostokoff.'

'Chewing, chewing all day long. Chewing, chewing all day long. Chewing, chewing, chewing, chewing. Chewing, chewing all day long. Chewing, chewing all day long. Chewing, chewing all day long. Chewing, chewing all day long.'

As Yelena was rolled away, she called out to (Y/N) who was still dancing to the Oompa Loompa song. Melina walked up to her and she stopped her dancing. 

"I want you to roll Miss Vostokoff into the boat and take her along to the Juicing Room at once, okay?" (Y/N) told an Oompa Loompa.

"The Juicing Room? What are they gonna do to her there?" Melina asked

"They're gonna squeeze her. Like a little pimple. We gotta squeeze all that juice out of her immediately."

Melina followed her daughter to the Juicing Room while (Y/N) continued the tour.
