He woke up with great difficulty... it was dark around him, his eardrums hurt atrociously. Peter was completely confused. After a few minutes of trying to get over it, the young man remembers everything now.

A terrible earthquake had taken place and caused all this. A whole building was crushed on Peter Parker's classmates. At the moment, the young man did not know the fate of his friends.

That's when Spider-Man heard a voice he knew all too well. That of Michelle Jones... her crush in high school.

Michelle: Help...help. Please help me... Said crying and weakly.

Peter tried to clear the rubble... but the rubble was far too heavy for Spider-Man.

Peter: MJ! MJ! You hear me ? he asked screaming.

Michelle: Peter is that you? she asked crying.

Peter: Yes it's me! Are you all right ? I mean do you have anything broken? he asked.

Michelle: I... I don't feel anymore but legs. She said grimacing.

Peter: Do you have any pain? he asked.

Michelle: I have a terrible headache... and you have nothing? she asked.

Peter: I'm fine! I'm just stuck between two very heavy rubble. He said grimacing.

Michelle: Peter, I'm scared... She said crying.

Peter: MJ listen to me it's going to be fine! We will get out of this. I'll get us out of here. Once I get my strength back... He said grimacing.

Several pieces of debris fell not far from the two teenagers... Parker's eyes stung excruciatingly. His eyes were completely closed due to the pain caused by the dust.

Michelle: Peter can you hear me? she asked.

Peter: Yes, I hear you MJ. he said weakly.

Michelle: I don't know if we're going to be okay today... but I want you to know that I'm proud of you. Proud that Spider-Man gives hope to young children and adults. She said smiling.

Peter: MJ... I'm only doing my duty. Being a hero also means having a great responsibility... He said before coughing several times.

Michelle: I suspect so. But know that I'm proud of you. And if we make it out of this rubble alive... know that I won't abandon you. She said smiling.

Peter: MJ I'm exhausted...I have no strength at all. For once I'm completely lost... He said weakly.

Michelle: I'm exhausted too...I should close my eyes and rest until we're found. She said weakly.

Peter: No MJ! Don't close your eyes! Don't close them. He said screaming.

Peter still manage to find the strength to scream under the debris. He was weak... the young man felt that his body was going to let go.

Michelle: I don't have the strength to hold them anymore... She said weakly.

Peter: Michelle listen to me. I'll get us out of here I promise... I'll get you to safety. He said grimacing.

Michelle: Peter it's too hard... She said weakly.

Peter: Hold on...I'll get you out of here. He said grimacing while trying to lift the two large pieces of debris that stuck him.

He tried with all his strength to lift two large pieces of debris. But he couldn't do it... he was at his wit's end.

Peter: I'm lost... this is where it all ends for me. I have more strength, I'm cold... I don't believe it anymore.

Uncle Ben: Exactly Peter, you have to believe it! He said smiling.

Peter: Uncle Ben? He said surprised.

Uncle Ben: It's me boss. He said smiling.

Tears welled up in Peter Parker's eyes. The young teenager still felt so guilty for the death of his uncle.

Peter: I'm sorry Uncle Ben, it's my fault you died... He said crying.

Uncle Ben: No. You are not responsible. The only person responsible for my death is that thief. In no way are you responsible for my death. He said smiling.

Peter: I'm going to die here Uncle Ben... He said sadly.

Uncle Ben: You're not going to die here Peter You're going to save the life of this young girl and everyone who needs you. Need Spider-Man. He said smiling.

Peter: I feel weak...I don't have the necessary strength. He said sadly.

Uncle Ben: She finds that strength in you. Use it to get you out of there and get the poor people out of this hell! He said smiling.

Suddenly the old man turned his back on Peter getting ready to leave...

Peter: We miss you Uncle Ben! He said sadly.

Uncle Ben: You too. And don't forget Pete. With great power comes great responsibility. He said smiling before disappearing.

Peter: No wait Uncle Ben! He said grimacing.

The old man's voice echoed in the teenager's head. Images of him and happy Ned flashed through his mind. As well as images of him and MJ happy.

Peter: Come on Peter you can do it! He said trying to lift it's two big pieces of debris.

Parker tried, he put all his strength into it, he cried out in pain, in rage. He got up as the debris heaved up.

Peter: Go Spider-Man! Go Spider-Man!!! he shouted at the top of his lungs.

That's when Spider-Man cleared the debris. He was finally free... he used his sixth sense to find MJ and get her out of here. He then detects Michelle's presence two or three mothers away from him...

He advanced towards her... after a few steps Peter found an unconscious Michelle Jones. He freed his girlfriend from the debris and led her outside.

When the hero arrived outside, he saw several police, ambulance and fire trucks in front of him. He rushed to an ambulance to drop off a completely unconscious Michelle.

MJ was quickly taken care of by the trainers. As for Peter, he went back under the rubble... to help as many people as he could find.

Two days later, Parker visited his girlfriend in the hospital. MJ will come out of it with both legs broken... but with life safe and sound. And it's all thanks to her boyfriend, Peter Parker.
