The new journalist.

At Midtown High School young Peter Parker is the photographer for the school newspaper. Last year he was elected best photographer in high school, he is also the vigilante Spider-Man who has just made an appearance in New York.

In order to help his aunt Peter financially and also a photographer at the Daily Bugle. Jonah Jameson pays him when he brings him pictures of Spider-Man (the masked menace) as Jonah likes to call him.

Today, Peter was on a mission to photograph the debate club. For other high schoolers Peter Parker was a failure or a loser depending on what people call him in the halls of Midtown.

Once the photo was taken, Peter left high school because he had finished school. He then took the metro and went home. Peter had no friends in high school or outside, he has always been alone...

He greeted May who was reading a book in the living room on the couch. He took the direction of his room, once arrived in it he threw his bag on the floor. Peter connected his camera to his computer to do some editing on the debate club photo.

The next day Peter went to school and as usual he arrived late because his work of new superhero prevent her from arriving on time. Obviously school life reminded him that it was his third delay this week.

As he is the high school photographer, he got a room where he can select the photos that will go into the high school newspaper. But the school journalist who wrote the articles for the newspaper has changed schools so Peter finds himself doing everything on his own.

This work tires him... not to mention school, the job at the Daily Bugle, his homework and Spider-Man. That night Peter hadn't slept a single minute or hour. He preferred to patrol all night to watch over New York.

Upon entering the room Peter was surprised to see Headmaster Morita and a girl he didn't know. She was tall, thin, curly hair, brown eyes and her beauty color was slightly dark.

P.Morita: Hello Peter, you are late. He said smiling.

Peter: Hello Sir, sorry my...my bus and arrived late. He said lying.

P.Morita: Be more punctual in the future. He said warning him.

Peter: Yes sir! He said grimacing.

P. Morita: Good. Peter I present to you Michelle Jones a new student in this establishment, she also proposed to be the new journalist of Midtown. So I'm counting on you to help him integrate into our good old school. Michelle here is Peter Parker the best student in high school. He said smiling.

Peter: Hi. He said smiling.

Michelle: Hi. She said almost dryly.

P.Morita: Well I'll let you work on the journal which is due out in 2 days. Peter, Michelle I wish you good luck! He said smiling.

Headmaster Morita left the room leaving Peter and Michelle alone.

Peter: Well, then I'm going to show you this photo that I'm going to print in order to put it in the article of the week. The debate club will be the biggest topic of the week. he explained.

Michelle: Take a look at this photo. she asked almost dryly.

Peter pulled out his camera and showed Michelle the picture. She winced when she saw the photo.

Michelle: But she's horrible! She said grimacing.

Peter: What? He said surprised.

Peter wasn't used to hearing that phrase when it came to these photos.

Michelle: Your photo sucks, do you understand or not? she asked dryly.

Peter: I understood you're mean... He said with a sigh.

Peter looked shyly at the new girl from school, Parker found her very pretty. When he laid eyes on her Peter couldn't help but admire those eyes and that beauty.

Michelle: Well have this got to work or not? she asked coldly.

Peter: Uh yes, yes of course. he said shyly.

Several weeks passed Peter and Michelle finally got along well. Only when they were alone in this room working on the school paper.

Michelle's behavior towards him when he was at "school" annoyed Peter very much. Michelle put him down in front of the whole school or mocked him when someone made a nasty remark to Peter Parker.

Michelle noticed that Peter often arrived late to class. She's been watching him since they arrived in high school. Michelle Jones had even noticed that Liz Allen, one of the most popular girls in high school, was watching Peter all the time, which made him annoyed.

In their play Michelle was writing the next high school paper which centered on Spider-Man. This one was trending on YouTube. Michelle saw that Parker was a little embarrassed to write about Spider-Man with Michelle.

Michelle: What we need is a photo of this impostor. She said smiling.

Peter is annoyed to hear all day long that Spider-Man is an impostor or a threat to society.

Peter: Spider-Man is not an impostor or even a threat. He said dryly.

Michelle: Putting on a mask is pantyhose and doing the work of a real hero, in other words the police, sorry, but for me they are an impostor and even a threat! She said dryly.

Peter: Spider-Man just wants to do good. he explained.

Michelle: Well let him go or tell us who he really is. She said dryly.

Peter: But it could put those loved ones in danger... He said grimacing.

Michelle: Tony Stark did it well. Hey look today he protects our city wonderfully. She said smiling.

Peter: Yeah but Spider-Man wouldn't take that risk. He said grimacing.

Michelle: Why do you know him? Asked
you her.

Peter: No, Spider-Man talking to a loser like me would be weird. He says laughing.

Michelle: This world is weird. A guy with a shield in the colors of our country. A man capable of transforming into a green monster when he gets angry. A man capable of stealing with a hammer. Hey a person dressed in red and blue tights swinging from canvas to canvas in the New York sky so no it wouldn't be weird if you knew Spider-Man. She said laughing.

Peter: Yes, but Spider-Man would never talk to me. He says laughing.

Michelle: Yet he already does. She said smiling.

Peter immediately stopped laughing.

Peter: What? He said confused.

Michelle: I know those you Spider-Man! She said smiling proudly.

Peter: I'm not Spider-Man and then what makes you think I'm Spider-Man? he asked.

Michelle: You're late, the fact that you work at the Bugle because you take wonderful pictures of Spider-Man, that you're embarrassed when writing about him. You defend her every time Peter. I am not fooled. She said smiling.

Peter watches Michelle carefully before looking down.

Michelle: You're Spider-Man. She said smiling proudly.

Peter: Yes, but promise me not to tell anyone... He said grimacing.

Michelle: I would say nothing. She said smiling.

Peter: Thank you... He said smiling shyly.

Michelle: I put all the pieces of the puzzle together to get here. Because I'm the new journalist. Hey, it's my job to write and investigate. She said laughing.

Peter: Well congratulations, you discovered my secret. You have a real gift for journalists Michelle. He said smiling.

Michelle: I'll make a good reporter later. She said smiling.

Peter: I don't doubt it. He said smiling.

END.
