Every noon he saw her in the same place. Sitting under the apple tree in the schoolyard. Always reading a book while eating an apple.

Peter found this young, tanned girl very intriguing. He didn't even know her... one thing is sure, she didn't have many friends, he noticed.

It was then that one fine day, he decided to introduce himself to this girl. He was a little scared, because he doesn't really know what to do with girls. He arrived in front of her... he took a deep breath and launched it.

Peter: Hi...I'm Peter Parker. I am in CM1. He said smiling.

The girl didn't even bother to look up from her book. Peter asked even though she had heard him introduce himself.

Peter: I'm 9 years old. He said smiling.

Still no reaction from the girl. Parker did not understand the behavior of the latter. He was then about to leave, when she answered him.

Michelle: Michelle Jones. She said, not taking her eyes off her book.

Peter: Hi Michelle. He said smiling.

Michelle: Yes, hi. Well now you will leave me, read my book quietly? she asked dryly.

Parker understood then that she wanted to be alone. He didn't answer, and headed for a quieter place to have lunch.

Peter had no friends... he was a very lonely young boy. What he didn't like... he would have liked to have a friend to laugh and talk with.

He then moved a little further from Michelle, once seated in the grass, the latter took his sandwich and was about to taste it. Then came Eugene Thompson, known as the Flash.

Flash: Hold on, hold on. Peter Parker, you know what you have to do, don't you? He said smiling.

Peter: But Flash... He said before cutting him off.

Flash: Your sandwich! Right away. Otherwise you know what will happen to you. He said showing his clenched fist.

Peter: Very good, very good. I give it to you... here it is. He said giving his sandwich.

Flash: Thanks Parker, see you tomorrow for your other sandwich. Oh and thank your aunt for that great sandwich. He said laughing before leaving.

Peter lowered his head, since kindergarten Flash has been harassing him... the young boy was not a violent person, he didn't know how to defend himself. Flash took advantage of it...

Peter: Great... no lunch. Once again... He said on the verge of tears.

In the evenings when he returned home, Aunt May asked him all the time if he had liked his sandwich which she always prepared with love for him. Peter lied to her every... he told her he had a blast. When no, it's someone else who eats lunch.

Michelle had seen the scene from afar, she felt sorry for the young Parker. She knew how he felt right now.

Peter observed the other children playing with each other. It made him very sad...because he too would have liked to have someone to play with.

Suddenly Michelle Jones found herself in front of him. Pete was very surprised to see the girl found in front of him...

Michelle: Here take it. She said handing him a sandwich.

Peter: Thank you, but I can't accept. It's your meal, it's up to you to eat it. Not to me... He said smiling.

Michelle: I'm not very hungry. An apple is enough for me. She said still holding out the sandwich.

Peter: Alright... well thank you. He said timidly taking the sandwich.

The young boy, appreciated Michelle's gesture. No one had ever offered him his meal...

Michelle: You know, one day maybe you should stop. I mean, stop giving your lunch to that brainless brute. She said sitting down in the grass in front of Peter.

Peter: But if I refuse, Flash might get even angrier. He said scratching the back of his neck.

Michelle: If you let yourself do it all your life, then everyone will benefit. You have to know how to say no sometimes... She said smiling.

Peter: Thanks for the advice. The girl, from the apple tree. He says laughing.

Michelle: You're welcome. Sorry again for my coldness earlier... it's just that I'm not used to having people come to talk to me either. I'm like you, used to being alone in your corner. She said smiling.

Peter: You're not alone now. He said smiling.

Michelle: You're not alone anymore either. She said smiling.

Peter: Friends? he asked holding out one of his hands while smiling.

Michelle: Friends. She said shaking his hand while smiling.
