A very sad Christmas this year for Peter. A Christmas was celebrated alone... there was no one to spend the holidays with him.

Swinging in the New York sky, Spider-Man felt very alone. The first Christmas that will pass alone... under his mask he was crying because of this loneliness. But he had chosen it...

So much anger and sadness... he was angry for many reasons. It's life like Spider-Man... it's a choice involving great sacrifice in his life as a hero, just like in his life as Peter Parker.

He was still mad at the green jester, May's murderer and the one responsible for her sadness today. If Strange hadn't blown up that box... Parker never would have had to ask Strange to do that stupid spell. He would definitely be with MJ and Ned for the 2024 holiday season.

Spider-Man saw Michelle's apartment in the distance. The superhero then decided to go there... when Peter landed on his ex-girlfriend's building, the latter discreetly looked curiously at what was happening in the Jones' kitchen.

He then saw a happy family. MJ's mom and dad were sitting at the table, chatting with their daughter. They were laughing, which made Spider-Man smile.

Peter was really happy, to see Michelle happy. Even if deep down, he would have preferred to be by her side today. Spidey then saw MJ take a garbage bag filled with trash and walk out of his apartment.

That's when he headed for the alley to make sure nothing happened to him. When MJ was near the trash can, Peter sneezed from the cold weather...which alerted Michelle to his presence.

Michelle: As you wish. She said laughing.

Spider-Man: Thank you. He says laughing.

Michelle: You don't celebrate Christmas with your family? she asked.

Spider-Man: I'm not that lucky... He said sadly.

Michelle: Oh...I'm sorry. She said sadly.

It did Parker a lot of good, to be able to talk to the one he's madly in love with... Above all, he needed it. He missed her so much...

Michelle: Everyone deserves to be happy on Christmas Day. She said sadly.

Spider-Man: I agree... everyone deserves it. He said sadly.

Michelle: Christmas, and a day that brings joy to family...friends. You deserve it too Spider-Man. She said smiling.

Spider-Man: Thanks MJ... by the way, how's your head injury? he asked.

Michelle: Oh, well I can't feel anything anymore. Doctor Strange told me and Ned that you had to leave that day. Why ? she asked.

Peter's heart was racing... he knew where MJ was coming from. But he can't tell her the truth. It could put her in danger again, and her Peter refuses to let that happen.

Spider-Man: Hmm... I was very tired. So I left the rest of the mission to the wizard. He said lying.

Michelle: I see...love your new costume by the way. She said smiling.

Spider-Man: Thanks MJ. He said smiling.

Michelle: Well well I'm going to have to go up... otherwise but parents will be worried. She said smiling.

Spider-Man: Yes, I understand. He said smiling.

Michelle: Merry Christmas Spider-Man. See you soon ! She said smiling while waving her hand before entering the building.

Spider-Man: Merry Christmas to you too MJ. He said with tears in his eyes.
