Peter and Michelle have been together for nine years now. They have an apartment, they each have a job. But for a while Parker wanted to take a big step in their relationship... the latter wants a child with Michelle.

But Peter was afraid to speak with MJ... the latter never put the baby project on the table. Spider-Man sometimes asked the question, if Jones wanted to form a family with him or did she not want children...

Lying in their beds, MJ was reading a book. As for Peter, he was staring at the ceiling. He wondered if it was the right time to talk about children with his wife. It would burn his lips... so he threw it.

Peter: MJ, can I tell you something important? he asked shyly.

Michelle: Yeah what? She asked, not taking her eyes off her book.

Peter: It's not easy to say... end if it's easy. But I find it hard to tell you. He said grimacing.

Michelle: Well don't say it then. She said, not taking her eyes off her book.

Peter: No, but it's something important MJ. I have to tell you about it... He said grimacing.

Michelle: Well stop beating around the bush and tell me what's up! Said she violently closed her book.

Peter: I'm ready! He said smiling.

Michelle: Ok... but ready for what exactly? She asked confused.

Peter: I'm ready to be a dad. He said smiling.

When Michelle heard the word daddy, her face fell. She did not think for a single second that her husband would tell her about this project.

Michelle: What? She said in shock.

Peter: I feel ready! For quite a while now. He said smiling.

Michelle: Do you want a child with me? she asked grimacing.

Peter: Yes of course. I want it as soon as possible. Be careful, I'm not putting pressure on you. He said smiling.

Michelle: Peter...I don't feel ready. We're only twenty-five, let's enjoy our youth a little longer. And then a baby is a lot of work... will we be able to manage all that? I'm not sure. Especially with our jobs, you crime-fighting as Spider-Man, plus being a hero takes up a lot of your time. She said grimacing.

Peter: MJ... I'm not going to wait but fifty years to be a father. Maybe yes we should still enjoy our youth as you say... but I feel ready to be a dad. And I admit that having a child with the woman I love will make me extremely happy. He said smiling.

Michelle: Yes me too I want to have a baby with you. But for the moment it is not in my plans. She said smiling.

Peter: Ok... I must admit that I am a little disappointed. But I respect your decision. We will have a child when the time is right. He said sadly.

Michelle: Don't worry, it will happen very quickly. But for now, let's try to find another apartment or even a small house. Because I'm tired of living in this seedy dump. She said laughing.

Peter: Yes. I agree. He says laughing.

Michelle: I'm going to sleep. Good night. She said smiling.

Peter: Good night. He said smiling.

The couple kissed, Parker then turned off the light and lay down comfortably in bed. He was very happy to have talked about it with his wife... even if the decision she made was not the one he wanted. But if MJ decided so, then he had to respect what his wife decided. He then fell asleep with a smile on his face.
