Late at night, Spider-Man was still watching over MJ's house. It's been 6 months now since Peter decided to let Ned and Michelle live their lives away from him... away from Spider-Man and many enemies.

Michelle had never seen this famous client, going by the name of "Peter Parker." Yet when the latter had left the café, MJ kept hoping that he would return one day. But unfortunately for her, Peter never showed up at the place where she worked.

At night Peter in his Spidey costume, came to sit on the fire escape which is next to MJ's room. He would sit and watch her sleep...it was the only way he could be near her before she left for Boston.

It was so calming for him, watching his ex girlfriend fall into a deep sleep. For the teenager it was the only moment of the day when he had a smile on his face. But tonight everything was different...

Indeed, Peter was surprised by Michelle. Luckily for him, he had his mask on his head. Jones had taken it pretty well to see the Queens superhero settling down on his fire escape. She then invited him to join her...

At first Parker's instinct told him not to go. But her heart encouraged her to enter MJ Watson's room. He then entered...

Michelle: Well then...it's been a while. She said smiling.

Spider-Man: Sorry? He said confused.

Michelle: I haven't seen you since the battle for the status of freedom. She said smiling.

At the time, Peter thought that Michelle had regained her memory...which scared him a little. He wouldn't want her to be in danger again because of him.

Michelle: Fortunately, I followed the news to be informed of your exploits. She said laughing.

Spider-Man: Ah.. uh yes. I had a lot of stuff to do. Sorry MJ... He said smiling.

Michelle: Otherwise, how are you? she asked.

Spider-Man: I...I...I'm fine... He said lying.

Michelle: Cool. She said smiling.

Spider-Man: And you? he asked smiling.

The latter, tried on his bed with a sad face. Spidey didn't understand why MJ put himself in such a state.

Spider-Man: MJ? What's happening ? Tell me... He said sadly.

Michelle: Well... there's this boy. She said shyly.

Spider-Man: Who is it? he asked.

Michelle: He came once where I work...then he never came back. She said sadly.

A hint of jealousy invaded Peter's body. But he had to come to terms with the fact that Michelle had brought it back to life...that's what he wanted anyway.

Spider-Man: And you fell in love with him? he asked.

Michelle: No... I only know her first and last name. She said smiling shyly.

Spider-Man: I see... but are you interested in this boy? he asked.

Michelle: He intrigues me. She said smiling shyly.

Spider-Man: What intrigues you about him? he asked.

Michelle: He...he finished one of my sentences. A sentence that I say very rarely. He said smiling.

Spider-Man: What did that sentence say? he asked smiling.

Michelle: She was saying. Generally, I prepare to be disappointed, because it is the best way to avoid disappointment. She said smiling.

Parker's heart raced when Michelle recited the sentence in question. Now he knew which boy she was talking about. She was talking about him... Peter Parker.

Spider-Man: Nice quote by the way. And this boy have you ever tried to search for him? he asked.

Michelle: No...I'd rather not. I have a lot of work at the moment... I counted each time on that presence at Peter Pan, to be able to get to know him a little better. She said smiling shyly.

Spider-Man: Maybe he doesn't live in New York anymore... MJ. He said sadly.

Michelle: Yeah...maybe. But when he left the store... I felt something. As if he and I knew each other. It was a very weird feeling. She said smiling shyly.

Spider-Man: This young man, don't let yourself be indifferent. He says laughing.

Michelle: Shut up spider. She said laughing.

Spider-Man: Michelle...maybe he's a couple. Have you ever thought about that? he asked.

Michelle: No... I hadn't thought of that at all. She said sadly.

Spider-Man: How do you feel? End I mean... how do you feel since you haven't seen him anymore? he asked.

Michelle: A kind of emptiness... She said sadly.

Spider-Man: I see... well I have to go. See you soon MJ. He said smiling.

Michelle: Yes, see you soon Spider-Man. She said smiling.

The superhero, then crossed the window of the young woman... he turned around and gave her a last sign before flying away in the sky of New York, under the smile of MJ who watched him go away.
