It was night in New York, the time when crimes are the highest in this city. Like most New York citizens, Michelle Jones was lying on her bed.

Winter was well established in New York. Michelle was wearing a big sweater, plus that blanket over her is a usual hot cup of green tea next to her positioned on her coffee table.

She was lying on her bed reading a book. MJ had this habit since childhood to read a few pages of a book in the company of a hot cup of green tea.

But tonight was going to be a different night for her. She was about to go to sleep when she heard a noise at the window. She jumped on the spot... she then glanced at her window.

Well, she lives there one of the very famous superheroes in New York... Spider-Man, the spider-man. MJ saw that his suit was in bad shape, he looked hurt.

She got out of her bed as quickly as possible. MJ headed as quickly as possible to her window... she then opened the window and saw that Spider-Man was badly hurt.

Michelle: Oh my god, what happened to you? she asked panicked.

Spider-Man: I need your help... He said grimacing in pain.

Michelle: Uh... ok, ok come in quick. She said stepping aside to let Spidey enter the room.

The hero then weakly entered Michelle's room. She then closed the window behind him before joining Spider-Man.

Michelle: I'll call an ambulance. She said taking her phone.

Spider-Man: No, no ambulance! Please... He said grimacing in pain.

Michelle: I don't want a dead man on my bedroom floor! She said panicked.

Spider-Man: I've been through worse...I just want you to help me if possible. After I leave I swear it to you... He said grimacing in pain.

Michelle: What do you want? she asked.

Spider-Man: I need you to sew me up, clean up my wounds... He said wincing in pain.

Michelle: I don't know how to do it myself...

Spider-Man: You'll get there... He said smiling despite the pain.

Michelle: Alright, I'll give it a try. Stay there I go to the bathroom to get the first aid kit. She said before leaving her room.

Spider-Man: Thank you... He said smiling despite the pain.

After several minutes MJ was cleaning Spider-Man's wounds and stitched him up. The two didn't speak at all... when Spider-Man saw a face in a photo that he knew very well.

Spider-Man: Who is it? He said, pointing to the photo in question.

Michelle: Peter Parker. She replied simply.

Spider-Man: Your boyfriend? he asked.

Michelle: No. She said dryly.

Spider-Man: Who is it for you? he asked.

Michelle: A high school loser. She said dryly.

Spider-Man laughed inwardly. Peter who is hiding under this mask has just seen that Michelle Jones, that classmate who is also known to be the most "weirdest girl in Midtown" has a frame with a photo of next to her bed.

Spider-Man: He's more than a loser, isn't he? he asked.

Michelle: It's complicated... She said grimacing.

Spider-Man: How? he asked. '

Michelle: Let's say I'm invisible to him. She said sadly.

Spider-Man: Why do you say that? he asked.

Michelle: Well this Peter Parker is an idiot. He thinks at school, he thinks at the movies... She said rolling her eyes.

Spider-Man: Do you like it? he asked.

Michelle: I beg your pardon? She said surprised.

Spider-Man: Are you in love with this Parker? he asked.

Michelle didn't answer Spider-Man's question...a silence that meant everything to Peter.

Spider-Man: Alright I'll go...thanks for "keeping me alive" He said smiling.

Michelle: Next time go to the hospital. She said smiling.

Spider-Man: No chance. He said smiling.

Spider-Man climbed through the window, but before leaving Michelle, he turned towards her.

Spider-Man: Tell Peter how you feel, it will relieve you. He said smiling.

Michelle: No way... She said dryly.

Spider-Man: Why? You have nothing to lose. He's just a high school loser after all. He said before flying off into the New York sky.

Michelle: You're right Spider-Man, I'll tell him. She said smiling.
