Reflections in the looking glass,
Show me a version I want to see.
The version they want me to be,
Of moulded wax and a perfect melody.
Oh don't you think life needs more variety?
Not what is placed on us by society.

And I refuse to agree,
Because you see,
Outside there in the sunshine and grass,
And in the reflection of the sea,
My true self shines out before me.

And now everything is clear,
Like crystal in a chandelier.
I am only me,
And the best that I can be.
