As I rush to the hospital my head fills with worries of my father. I run and run. Eventually I start to see the hospital and I smile. But.....

I trip. And fall in my face. "Oww...." I push myself up as I grab my face with one hand and continue running. I make it there. " Hello....Jude Heartfilia please" "Oh sure hunny. Room 278" i continue to run. My breathing becoming fast and impatient as I rush to see my father. When I reach the door my hand shakes.

I turn the handle and push it open to see...........

My father, laying on the bed. "Dad!" I rush to him. He gently plays with my hair as I hug him. I try to control my breathing to look like I wasn't running. I don't want him to worry.... But sure enough, he saw right through me. "Lucy. did you run all the way here?" He says with a stern voice.     " Um....noooooo.... " I lie.

"don't lie to me young lady! I can tell when you lie so there's no point." He sighs . "Fine....I ran here." I put my hands in the air as if I surrender. He shakes his head and stared at me with a smile. Then the heart monitor stops.

" Beeeeeeeeepppppppppppppppp"

"No....no! Dad! Father wake up! Please! " I beg as tears fall down my face. Doctors walk in and push me out. I sit in the chair as my tears drench my face and clothes. "Daddy...." I mumble.

Someone say next to me and gave me a hug. I couldn't see who because my eyes were clouded with my tears but I did see pink. I don't care who gave me the hug, I need this right now. I hug back and cry into the person's chest.

Soon enough I hear walking twords me. "Miss heartfilia?" I hear. I turn my head to the source of the voice. It must be a doctor. I still can't see.

" we were able to revive him. However... He his in a comatose. And we need certain medicine for him. Do you have the proper money right now to pay? " she asks

"No...I dont have a job..." I admit. " Oh. Well...until you have the money we will care for him. He won't wake up until the medicine is here. It's 1,000,000 jewel. " the doctor says.. "WHAT?! I don't have that kind of money! It'll take atleast a year to save up that money...And I still have to finish paying off mom's debt" I whisper the last part.

"I'm sorry miss heartfilia. " the doctor says

"Its....it's fine....I'll figure it out. I'll be back tomorrow to check in to my father" I stand up and hold my head high. As I wipe  my tears. I have a determined face. I walk out and I still hold my head high. Nothing will bring me down.

Then someone says "hey. Not gonna say thank you for comforting you?" I turn around to meet a pink haired man with an amused smirk. " oh um....thank you? " I say he smiles and says "I heard everything back there. I can give you job that pays well." He admits to me.

My eyes widen. "Re-really?" That was easy. "Yup. Pack your bags you'll be my personal maid. All you have to do is clean my bed room, bathroom, fold my laundry, and help with diner sometimes!" He smiles cheerfully. "Oh um....I don't know..." I look at the ground. He walks up to me and hugs me.

My eyes widen in shock, but this feels warm, and comforting, and right. So I hug back. And as I do I feel sparks in my body.

We break apart, much to my disappointment. "Lucy. It'll be okay. I don't use my maids for anything other than chores and stuff my name's natsu dragneel. I own--" "dragneel corp...." I mumble. He smirks "yup! so I won't be home alot that's why I need you. " he said. I sigh.

"Okay. I'll do it."
