On the rainy and stormy night

Birthday girl was screaming inside.

Suddenly a whisper echoed and

Her dark brown eyes turned wide

A little plant on the balcony was

Talking in its soft and kiddish voice

She forgot the fight with her sibling

A bit amazed but feeling nice

She touched the leaf of plant

Her touch probably tickled

A beautiful smile spread on her lips

When the little plant giggled

Pearl, the little birthday girl

Found a different gift this year

A superpower to talk to the plants
