Kanako: Am I the shrine maiden that greets people here?

Kanako: Exactly. NOW GET TO WORK!!!

Sanae: Fine... *walks to PK* Hello sir, due to the recent situation, we cannot accept any donations. Sorry about that.

PK: Oh, I'm actually not here for that. I was wondering if I can interview you about the incident that is happening.

Kanako perks up.

Kanako: Which newspaper?

PK: Umm.... Bunbunmaru-

Kanako: NOPE! NO CAN DO! SORRY, BUT YOU GOTTA LEAVE!

PK: What for?

Kanako: I HAVE NO INTEREST IN THAT TENGU NEWSPAPER!!!

PK: Umm... What if I told you that I'm doing the next article without her involvement?

Kanako: ....YOU ARE?!?!?! FINALLY!!!! SHE GETS SOMEONE ELSE TO DO THE NEWSPAPER!!!! I ACCEPT YOUR INTERVIEW!!

PK: Umm... I'm glad you accepted the interview. Let's begin, shall we?

Interview Start!

PK: So, before we begin, please state your name and profession.

Kanako: Gladly. I'm Kanako, Goddess of the Wind.and Rain, and current Goddess of the Moriya Shrine.

PK: Thanks. Now then, explain what happened here at Youkai Mountain in your own words.

Kanako: I was sitting outside the shrine, nagging Sanae to do her shrine maiden stuff, when I saw a dark figure approaching us. It left after realizing it was facing a goddess, which was me.

PK: Ok then. Did you feel like the figure was a threat?

Kanako: Nah. Judging on the appearance, the figure looked weak in my vision. Even if the figure tried to destroy the shrine, we have a barrier that would prevent destruction.

PK: Well, you've prepared for the defenses really early then.

Kanako: Indeed. Even if people think I'm just for power and really stupid, I know how to protect other people and give them help.

PK: I see. Well thank you for your time Kanako.

Kanako: No problem. Are you going to find out the culprit as well?

PK: Yeah. After I do these interviews.

Kanako: You know what? I'll give you a helping hand with finding the culprit then! In the meantime, SANAE!!! PROTECT THE SHRINE!!! *leaves*

Sanae: *sigh* You don't have to scream you know....

PK: Well then... Wanna be interviewed Sanae?

Sanae: ....Well it's not like.... *blushes* I want to be interviewed! *faints*

PK: I guess that's a no. Oh well, time to find another location! *leaves the shrine*

On Kanako's side...

Kanako: WHEREVER YOU ARE, COME OUT AND FIGHT ME!!!!

Reimu: Woah, what are you doing here Kanako?

Kanako: Isn't it obvious? I'm trying to find the culprit.

Reimu: Hey! We are too!

Kanako: We?

Reimu: Yeah. Yukari and her "friends" are finding the culprit as well.

Kanako: Well then, that makes our job easier! We can get more people to find the culprit and hold it off of the next attack!

Reimu: ....That is a great idea.

Kanako: Then let's go find more people- GAHHH!!! *collapses*

Reimu: Huh? What happened- KYAAA!!! *collapses as well*

???: Well then, what do we have here? The legendary shrine maiden and the purple hag! They'll be good captives...

???: STOP RIGHT THERE!!! *Yukari appears*

???: Tsk! And right when I have about to leave....

Yukari: Sorry, but you gotta let those two go out of your grasp.

???: And what if I refuse to drop them?

Kasen: *Jumps out of a tree* Then we have no choice to but to force it out!

Okina: *Comes out of a door on Kasen's back* I can't believe that I have to come out of obscurity for this... Well this seems like a good challenge.

???: Hmph. I guess I have to fight you guys then. I'm giving you a warning though. You better run if you don't wanna get hurt. *takes off his cloak*

PK: Should I go to the Mansion then? I can ask the residents there and see if they know about the incident.

???: I believe I can help you with that.

PK: Huh? *looks behind* Who are you exactly?

???: I'm Reika. I'm here to talk to you about an incident that's hidden from you.

PK: HUH?!?!?

So I read Speedy's chapter 3 of the 5 doors incident, and the moment I saw PK referenced in the chapter was cool. And then... after some context clearing up and stuff, it turns out another incident is taking place in PK's universe and Speedy is going out to investigate. 

Nonetheless I found a way to make Reika in the story. so yeh.
