PK arrives at the Hakurei Shrine.

PK: Reimu! You told me that you needed something from me?

Reimu arrives, with a dirty and depressed appearance.

Reimu: Yeah... It's a huge one, and I believe that you can do it.

PK: What is it?

Reimu: Kill me.

PK:....what?

Reimu: Yes. I want you to use your strongest move... and kill me with that.

PK:.....what for? is it..... that....

Reimu: Yes. Ever since "that" (idk) event happened, a sinister personality has manifested my mind. I can't control that side of mine, and I'm afraid that everyone will be harmed when that side appears.

PK: I see... even the sages can't deal with this?

Reimu: Nope. They've destroyed it one time, but it returned soon after.

PK: But what about the barrier?

Reimu: I'm pretty sure the Moriya Shrine can take care of it after I perish.

PK: ....guess I have no choice. However, I won't kill you until I decide to, alright?

Reimu: ....sure.

PK: Good. Now stay strong until you-

Reimu: .....HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I RETURN!!!! NOW THE WORLD IS MINE!!!

PK: ...Looks like I've already decided. Prepare to meet your fate.

Reimu collapses. PK takes her to the Hakurei Shrine.

PK: You know, I'm gonna miss you Reimu. You've been a great friend up until now. What will the future hold-

Reimu: Don't worry, I'll be fine. Once I perish, the sadistic spirit will go away. 

PK: But where will you go once you die? What will happen to Marisa?

Reimu: The youkai sages told me that someone's waiting for me, so I'll meet there. They also told me you're going to meet them as well. As for Marisa..... She'll have to live through this. Tell her this: She was a great companion to have on my journeys.

PK: ....I will. 

PK exits the shrine and readies the Gigablitz Spark. His hand targets the Shrine.

PK: It won't be long until-

???: PK!!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING????

PK: Marisa? 

Marisa: DON'T DO IT!!!! SHE CAN FIGHT IT OFF ON HER OWN!!!!

PK:.....

Too late.

The Master Spark comes out of PK's hand. It destroys Reimu and the Hakurei Shrine into oblivion.

PK:....

Marisa: *falls down to her knees along with her tears* NOOOOOOOOOO!!!! WHY DID YOU KILL HER?!?!?

PK: It's time to leave.

Chronos: Yes. Let's go.

PK disappeared through time.

PK: Hey Rinnosuke. I'm back.

Rinnosuke: I see that you did the deed. I'll miss that shrine maiden. You can't do anything to destroy that spirit.

PK: Yeah. So am I. Now then, I must set up shop- WHAAAA-

PK disappears without any trace.

Rinnosuke: PK? Huh. Something called him, I guess.
