Last Time On Persona Railgun........

"Can't we fix it though? Nobody would even know.... We just need to show the world what true justice is. We will make them come to their senses." Said Yusuke.

"Hey... you might be on to something Yusuke..." Said Mason.

"That's gotta be what our powers are for!" Said Ryuji.

"Sounds good to me. The flashier our missions are, the cooler we end up looking!" Said Morgana.

"You all have taught me so much." Said Yusuke.

"...What are you guys getting excited about?" asked Ann as she sits straight up on the sofa.

"Oh sorry.... Did we wake you?" Asked Ryuji.

"Nah, not really. I have been up for a while now. Still this weird feeling came over me while I was listening to you guys... It almost feels like I've known you all forever... Do you think its' because our backgrounds are so similar?" asked Ann.

"Maybe...." Said Akira.

"Well... it sure ain't 'cause of anything good." Said Ryuji.

"Similar huh... I am the only one who doesn't fit in.." Said Morgana.

"What are you talking about Morgana?" Asked Mikoto.

"I don't have any past to look back on... No memories..." Said Morgana.

"Whaddya mean? We could search the whole world and we wouldn't find a bigger misfit than you." Said Ryuji with a smile.

"And the reason we are going into Mementos is to help get your memories back right?" Asked Mason.

"I am sure your past will be just as troubled as ours." Said Yusuke.

"No doubt." Said Mikoto as she gentle rubs Morgana head.

"Hmph! We will see about that." Said Morgana.

"I actually feel like I've known Morgana for a really long time too." Said Ann.

"Me too. It is so strange that I can't put it into words." Said Mason.

"Look! I am helping you guys out for my own sake! Don't get me wrong! If you all don't get stronger, investing Mementos won't be anything but a pipe dream!" Said Morgana.

"Now now. No need to act all tough Morgana." Said Mikoto as she rubs his cat ears which made him meow happily.

"We should go as far as we can with this... as the Phantom Thieves." Said Mason.

"I want to punish those corrupt adults and give courage to people in trouble... Only we can do that!" Said Ann.

"Ha! You can say that again." Said Ryuji and Mikoto.

"Being a member of the Phantom Thieves will surely help me grow, both as an artist and as a person." Said Yusuke.

"Of course. You're all under my tutelage after all. There's nothing we can't accomplish." Said Morgana.

"Well.. I hope we can keep this up. We should be alright with you as our leader Akira and as our sub leader Mason." Said Ann.

"Right. Just leave it to me. I won't let you all down." Said Akira with a smile.

"Same goes for me. We will take any distorted desires from all adults if we have to. Nothing will stop the Phantom Thieves." Said Mason.

Ryuji is still mad about from what that detective said at the TV Studios. And because of that, all the people that were starting to believe in the Phantom Thieves are slowly starting to agree with Akechi opinion. Everyone when to Akira room to have a welcome party for Yusuke and to celebrate of stealing the Treasure from Madarame's Palace. Everyone got closer to each other as they felt like they know each other for a long time. Now they are more determined to steal more distorted desires from any rotten adults' out there.

6/13.............. After School

Just a regular day of class. Early of 6/12, Yusuke decided to return to the school dorms after talking with everyone last night. HE decided to leave the Sayuri painting in café to be hang on the wall. As of right now in the present day, there has been no big targets for the Phantom Thieves to target.

Just when Akira was about to pick up his bag and leave the school building, someone called out to him. "Oh good, you haven't gone home yet." Said Kawakami as she approach him.

"Is their something wrong Kawakami?" asked Akira.

"No.. not exactly. Niijima-san is looking for you and Mikoto. Could you head to the student council room right away?" asked Kawakami.

"Why?" asked Akira.

"She say's there is no report of a lost item, so she wants you and Mikoto to start filling out some kind of paperwork." Said Kawakami.

"I think I know who she is. Where is the student council room? "asked Akira.

"The student council room is on the third floor next to library. Got it?" asked Kawakami.

"Yes I do." Said Kawakami.

"Why am I running errands for a student? I know she's the principal's favorite or whatever...." Said Kawakami as she talks to herself before walking away.

Akira then walks out of the class room. He then sees Mikoto leaning up against the wall right next to the class room door.

"I assume you already know?" asked Akira as he asked Mikoto the obvious question.

"Yeah... I overheard it." Said Mikoto as she heard the conversation from Kawakami in the classroom.

"Niijima-san is the girl that keeps trying to follow either of us around right? What could she want though?" Asked Morgana as he peaks out of Akira bag for a second before hiding back in it.

"I don't know Morgana. But I can't shake this feeling... that is not good." Said Akira as he and Mikoto begins to walk to the student council office.

Student Council Room..............

Makoto is leaning up a little bit up against the table in the student council room. Behind her was a open computer on the desk. She is waiting for the two people she needs to talk to, to arrive.

"Ah. Earlier than expected." Said Makoto as she sees Mikoto and Akira enter the room.

"What is this about Niijima-san? We are in hurry to get out of school." Said Akira.

"....Have a seat." Said Makoto as that was her only response to him.

"And why should we?" asked Mikoto.

"Just do it please." Said Makoto as she takes a seat in one of the chairs. 

Mikoto and Akira take the other seats across from her. Akira placed his bag on the floor right next to his seat.

"I will get straight to the point. Mr. Kamoshida and Madarame. Won't you tell me the truth behind the Phantom Thieves incidents?" Said Makoto.

This made Akira and Mikoto nervous. "Its like we told you before Makoto. We don't know nothing. All we know is the Phantom Thieves are just doing the right thing." Said Mikoto.

"That is your answer huh? Ah, of course. There's no way you would admit to such things." Said Makoto.

"What are you getting at Makoto?" asked Akira.

"Have a listen." Said Makoto as she pulls out her phone. She then placed the phone on the table and then clicked the play button to play an audio file.

"If someone else could help them, we wouldn't be doing stuff as the Phantom Thieves to start with!" The audio file that Makoto just played was a recording of what Ryuji said yesterday.

'Uh-oh! She was there the entire time yesterday! ' Thought Both Mikoto and Akira as they are super duper nervous right now.

"So you think it is true? We will be okay if we keep doing this.. right?" The voice of Ann was also heard on the audio file.

"... What could all this mean?" Asked Makoto as she brushed a piece of her hair behind her left ear with her left hand.

"We screwed up!" Morgana whispered to Akira.

"Not good.... This is not good...." Mikoto nervously said to herself quietly.

"Was it blackmail? Hypnosis? How do you corner someone into making them confess? Won't you tell me how you did it?" Asked Makoto as she narrows her eyes at the two people infront of her.

"Not sure what you mean Makoto." Said Akira with a straight face.

"... You want to say that this doesn't prove anything to you, don't you? Now, what would the police think if they heard my recording?" asked Makoto.

"It would be bad if we are put under police surveillance. There is not telling what would happen to you too! Mikoto! Do something!" Morgana whispered to Mikoto.

"You know I could just fry your phone and make sure that this audio file is destroyed in the process." Said Mikoto as a piece of her hair sparked with electricity.

"Suppose you could... but you will only be making yourself proven that I am right of who you two are. And besides, even if you did fry my phone, their is a small chance of the audio file of being recovered." Said Makoto as she made a solid point to her.

".....Dang it." Said Mikoto.

"Do you really think the police will believe this? A audio file can't be enough to convince them." Said Akira.

"Oh no? I have pictures of you all in my phone as well. " Said Makoto as she picked up her phone to show some pictures of them form yesterday and the day Madarame made his confession about his crimes.

"Oh... crap...." Said Akira as he is starting to loose his cool at the moment and is sweating nervously.

"If you confess the truth, I don't mind just leaving this between the three of us...You'll tell me, won't you?" Asked Makoto.

".... I.... I... I have to think about it." Said Akira as he is trying to figure out a plan to get out of this situation.

"I believe that time would just be wasted." Said Makoto.

Suddenly, Akira phone begins to buzz. He pulls it out to see that it is Ryuji calling. He looks at Makoto if he can take this call.

"Go ahead." Said Makoto with a smirk on her face.

"Hello?" Asked Akira as he answers the call.

"Hey, where you at? Taking a leak? Let's meet up at the usual spot to hold our Phantom Thieves meeting!" Said Ryuji on the other end of the phone before ending the call quick.

This is bad. His voice was so loud that everyone in the room could hear it. Makoto smiled more while Mikoto did a face palm slap on her face in a disappointment way. Morgana could just be really angry right now.

"That idiot..." Said both Mikoto and Morgana just as Akira puts his phone away back in his pockets.

"As loud as always.... but his timing's perfect." Said Makoto.

"Dang it Ryuji..... Were in deep trouble now." Akira quietly said to himself.

"I'd like everyone else to hear this as well. Won't you take me to your friends?" Said Makoto.

"Fine... but don't try anything with my friends." Said Akira as he looks down in shame for a moment.

"Its a deal then." Said Makoto with a smile on her face in total confidence.

"I guess it can't be helped now..." Said Morgana as he looks at the situation right now. It is super bad.

Hideout............

Mason, Ryuji, Yusuke and Ann were at their usually hangout spot. At the moment they are just waiting for Mikoto, Akira and Morgana to arrive now. Ann is reading something from an magazine, and Ryuji is looking at something with his phone while sitting down. Mason is just finishing of eating a cookie. Yusuke is looking around to spot the others.

"Oh..." Said Yusuke as he sees something.

"What's up Yusuke?" asked Mason as he eats the last piece of the cookie.

"Are they here?" Asked Ryuji.

"That girl a friend of yours?" asked Yusuke. What he means by that is that Akira, and Mikoto  and Morgana who is peaking out of Akira bag, are walking up to them. Along with a unexpected guest. Makoto Niijima.

"Huh!?" Asked Mason as he is nervous right now.

"Wh-What the hell?" asked Ryuji as he stands up quickly.

"What's the meaning of this Akira and Mikoto?" asked Ann.

"Sorry..." Said Akira and Mikoto.

"I had them lead me here." Said Makoto.

"You had them do what?" asked Mason.

"Ryuji Sakamoto, Ann Takamaki, Mason Wilson, and you're Kitagawa-kun, correct? Second year at Kosei High and former pupil of Madarame?" Asked Makoto.

"What do you want Makoto?" Asked Mason.

"I want to ask you all about this." Said Makoto as she pulls out her phone and plays the certain audio file to them. Lets just say... hearing it is making them nervous and really cautious right now.

"Crap...." It was all Mason said after finish hearing that audio file.

"An extremely similar technique was used for both Kamoshida and Madarame... While those affected by their acts were just coincidently meeting up... How could that not raise suspicions?" asked Makoto as she shakes her head a few times.

Ryuji, Mason, Ann and Yusuke all looked at each other. They just now realize that she has a point. They did make it look to obvious when they are meeting up for their Phantom Thieves stuff.

"What do you intend to do? Have you come just to say you're going to report us?" asked Yusuke as he was the one to break the ice tension by asking her that.

"I bet someone told you to find us. The school can't have ties to criminals after all! And yet they turn a blind eye when it comes to suicide and sexual harassments." Said Ann in a angry voice.

"Ann..... Stop." Said Mikoto as she didn't want Ann to say anything else right now.

"Why should I Mikoto? Its the honest truth about the school. Those adults are just using Makoto. And I feel sorry for her." Ann said as she leans up against the metal railings and turns her head away to not look at Makoto.

"..... I... I know..." Said Makoto in a sad voice.

"Huh?" asked both Ann and Mason as they were surprised of what she said.

"That is why I would like to verify the justice you speak of." Said Makoto.

This made every Phantom Thieve member surprised and confused. "What?" asked Ryuji.

"You want us to prove to you of our actions Makoto?" asked Mason.

"Yes. I am the only one who knows about you. If you prove what you're doing is just, I will erase this." Said Makoto. 

"I see." Said Mikoto.

"She wants to make a deal..." Said Morgana as he whispered that into Akira ear.

"There is someone whose heart I'd like you to change." Said Makoto.

"Who?" asked both Yusuke and Mason.

"Hm, so you're not saying it's impossible." Said Makoto as she is surprised by their question.

"Yeah but can you tell us who it is?" asked Akira.

"Sorry... I cannot tell you that just yet. Lets continue our talk after school tomorrow. On the roof. Assuming you accept my offer, that is." Said Makoto before she walked away from the group.

"*Sighs* This is turning into a real pain..." Said Ryuji.

"Tell me about it." Said Mason.

"So what happened at school Akira and Mikoto?" asked Ann.

"I will explain it about it somewhere we can at least sit down to talk about it. Come on." Said Akira as he begins to walk to area to talk about this.

Diner.......

After the huge situation that was presented to them at their usually hideout, they went to the diner. They requested a large table in a quiet area. The people that worked their were so kind to fulfil that request.

"...And that is what happened in the student council room." Said Akira as he finished explain his and Mikoto side of the story.

"I am so sorry everyone." Said Mikoto.

"...You were careless. I don't think you truly understand how high the stakes were. Anything to say Ryuji?" Said Yusuke as he is angry at Ryuji at the moment.

"Why are you singling me out? Ann got recorded too, you know!" Said Ryuji.

"I am so sorry..." Said Ann.

"Its not your fault. Its just our guard was lowered at that time. We just didn't notice to look around to make sure their wasn't anyone around that we know." Said Akira.

"So what do we do now? Makoto got some real evidence on us." Said Mason.

"A recording and some pictures seems to be insufficient evidence though. And even with that, there is no way they could prove our methods." Said Yusuke.

"Considering who we are dealing with, I think it might be a trap." Said Ann.

"It won't be. Besides that is not the big issue right now." Said Akira.

"Did you all forget? Akira would be in trouble. He is on probation after all." Said Morgana as he pokes his head out of Akira bag.

"Things'd get rough if we didn't have our leader... I mean... Mason is the sub leader if anything happens to Akira but even still it would be big trouble for us... and I totally don't wanna deal with the police..." Said Ryuji.

"Then... we have no choice but to go along with it." Said Yusuke.

"It seems that way." Said Mikoto.

"Yes, it is best that we agree, at least for the time being. We made a crucial mistake but not a critical one. We will just have to recover from here on out." Said Morgana.

"Yeah, yeah. My bad. So... we doing this?" Said Ryuji.

"We are doing this. No other choice." Said Akira.

"All right. We are meeting on the school rooftop tomorrow, yeah?" asked Ryuji.

"Oh... there might be a small problem to that." Said Mikoto.

"What about me? I could always sneak in if necessary." asked Yusuke.

"Nope. Bad idea." Said Mason.

"You would draw too much attention. You should just wait outside Yusuke." Said Ann.

"What could Makoto be scheming?" Asked Mason.

"...I am going now. See you all tomorrow." Said Mikoto as she gets up and walks out of the diner.

"What's up with her?" asked Ryuji.

"..... Who knows." Said Akira.

With Mikoto...........

"Man.... this is really bad.... what could Makoto want with us just to change someone's heart... Hm?" asked Mikoto as she is walking in the shopping district of Shibuya. She then notice a certain someone walking amongst the crowd. 

Acting quickly, Mikoto ran to that person and dragged her into a nearby alleyway. She then pin that person to the wall.

"Ow... what was that for?" asked the person who is Makoto.

"I want to have a small chat with you Makoto. What are you thinking? This is not what I mean by listening to your heart! In fact, this is the complete opposite of what I told you!" Said Mikoto as she let go of her so she won't pin her to the wall anymore.

"I was just offering you Phantom Thieves a deal. I wanted to you all to prove if your so called justice is real." Said Makoto.

"There could have been other ways of asking us to do that Makoto. This is not the way. Akira might trust you and so do I but the others might not now. You need to stop doing stuff like this Makoto. One day, your going to do something stupid where you might get yourself and possible everyone you know into trouble." Said Mikoto.

Makoto gasped before she put her right hand on her shaking left arm. "Stop..." Said Makoto.

"Huh?" asked Mikoto

"I said stop Mikoto... Stop talking like you know me... you don't know what it is like to live in this society. We have to follow the rules and keep our heads down. We can't go against those in power. For all I know that the Phantom Thieves are just a group that might be trouble for everyone. So stop talking like you know what it is best for me! You don't have to go stuff like this in Academy City!" Said Makoto.

"....I understand what you are saying though Makoto..... And you are wrong about that last part." Said Mikoto.

"Huh?" asked a confused Makoto.

"I know what is it like everyday. Having to obey the rules of this world. Sometimes having to look the other way and just accept the darkness of the world. I go through stuff like that in Academy City. Sometimes I would face the darkness by myself because I don't want others to be caught in the crossfire. But I have learned to accept others for their help and to have trust and faith in them." Said Mikoto.

"Mikoto...." Said Makoto.

"You don't need to blackmail us if you want us to change someone's heart. You just to believe in us and like I said before, you just need to listen to your heart again for real." Said Mikoto with a smile on her face before she gives Makoto a pat on the head before leaving the alleyway.

"Have faith...Believe in them...." Said Makoto as she repeated that word again as she watched Mikoto leaving the alleyway.

The worst possible scenario has come to life. A person has discovered the identities of the Phantom Thieves. The person is Makoto Niijima. She has audio recording and some pictures of them. She won't turn those evidence to the police unless they change someone's heart for her. The Phantom Thieves doesn't have a choice. Now they need to know what Makoto is willing to make a deal with the next day. Who or what person could this person that needs a change of heart?
