Last Time on Persona Railgun.......

"Man.... this is really bad.... what could Makoto want with us just to change someone's heart... Hm?" asked Mikoto as she is walking in the shopping district of Shibuya. She then notice a certain someone walking amongst the crowd.

Acting quickly, Mikoto ran to that person and dragged her into a nearby alleyway. She then pin that person to the wall.

"Ow... what was that for?" asked the person who is Makoto.

"I want to have a small chat with you Makoto. What are you thinking? This is not what I mean by listening to your heart! In fact, this is the complete opposite of what I told you!" Said Mikoto as she let go of her so she won't pin her to the wall anymore.

"I was just offering you Phantom Thieves a deal. I wanted to you all to prove if your so called justice is real." Said Makoto.

"There could have been other ways of asking us to do that Makoto. This is not the way. Akira might trust you and so do I but the others might not now. You need to stop doing stuff like this Makoto. One day, your going to do something stupid where you might get yourself and possible everyone you know into trouble." Said Mikoto.

Makoto gasped before she put her right hand on her shaking left arm. "Stop..." Said Makoto.

"Huh?" asked Mikoto

"I said stop Mikoto... Stop talking like you know me... you don't know what it is like to live in this society. We have to follow the rules and keep our heads down. We can't go against those in power. For all I know that the Phantom Thieves are just a group that might be trouble for everyone. So stop talking like you know what it is best for me! You don't have to go stuff like this in Academy City!" Said Makoto.

"....I understand what you are saying though Makoto..... And you are wrong about that last part." Said Mikoto.

"Huh?" asked a confused Makoto.

"I know what is it like everyday. Having to obey the rules of this world. Sometimes having to look the other way and just accept the darkness of the world. I go through stuff like that in Academy City. Sometimes I would face the darkness by myself because I don't want others to be caught in the crossfire. But I have learned to accept others for their help and to have trust and faith in them." Said Mikoto.

"Mikoto...." Said Makoto.

"You don't need to blackmail us if you want us to change someone's heart. You just to believe in us and like I said before, you just need to listen to your heart again for real." Said Mikoto with a smile on her face before she gives Makoto a pat on the head before leaving the alleyway.

"Have faith...Believe in them...." Said Makoto as she repeated that word again as she watched Mikoto leaving the alleyway.

The worst possible scenario has come to life. A person has discovered the identities of the Phantom Thieves. The person is Makoto Niijima. She has audio recording and some pictures of them. She won't turn those evidence to the police unless they change someone's heart for her. The Phantom Thieves doesn't have a choice. Now they need to know what Makoto is willing to make a deal with the next day. Who or what person could this person that needs a change of heart?

6/14..... School Rooftop.............

It was the start of the next day. The school day just begins like usually. Once it started to become afternoon and classes were over, Ann, Ryuji, Akira, Mason and Mikoto begins to go up the school rooftop.

Once they reached there, Makoto was waiting for them as she was gently sitting on one of the student decks up there. As if like she somehow knew that they will be here today for the deal she is planning to give to them.

"I was thinking you might not show." Said Makoto as she noticed they have arrived.

"Well, when you clearly have evidence about us, we had no choice but to come." Said Mason.

"I would have come any other way even if I was blackmailed." Said Mikoto.

"So, whose heart do you want us to change?" asked Ann

"....A mafia boss." said Makoto.

"MAFIA!?" asked Ann and Mason with a shocked expression on their face.

"You're serious!?" Asked Akira.

"What are you talking about!?" asked Ryuji.

"That is what they called themselves. This group seems to be the cause of the rise in phishing scams." Said Makoto.

"Phishing scams? Akira, what does that mean?" Asked Mikoto.

"It is a type of identity theft crime that targets consumers online to their email from an online source." Said Akira as he told Mikoto what that word means.

"What's worse, once you're in their sights, they won't stop threatening you until they get what they want. They will force you to take part in their scams, threaten your family, and ultimately destroy your life." Said Makoto.

"Holy shit..." Said Ryuji.

"I can't believe that the mafia will do something like that..." said Mason.

"It appears that their victims include some of our students." Said Makoto.

"What!?" asked Akira as he is surprised by this.

"No!" Said a shocked Ann.

"They primarily target juveniles." Said Makoto.

"In other words...... high school students..... like us." Said Mason as he figured out that they could be targeted as well.

"So what is this mafia boss name?" asked Mikoto

"Nobody knows." Said Makoto.

"What? How can that be? I mean.... how is that even possible?" asked Mason.

"The victims are being threatened not to testify, so even the police can't get a grasp of the situation." Said Makoto.

"That is where you want us to start!?" Asked Ann in a angry tone.

"You should be able to pull it off... if you're really the righteous Phantom Thieves. Or is Akechi-kun correct when he says you act without justice." Said Makoto.

"Akira..... can't you say something witty back at her?" asked Morgana as he is hiding in Akira bag at the moment.

"Can you give us any other details that you might have? Anything at all?" Asked Akira.

"Akira...." Said Mason as he is surprised of what Akira just said.

"Why are you being so serious!?" Asked Morgana as this is not what he meant by saying something to Makoto.

"Their main hub of activity is in Shibuya... That is all the information I have." Said Makoto.

"It will have to do for now I guess." Said Akira. At least they know where the mafia main activity is located.

"How... how long do we have to change this mafia boss heart?" asked Mikoto as she is nervous of what the answer will be.

"Two weeks.... You got two weeks. Once that has passed, I'll submit all the evidence I have to the police and to the school. I hope you don't let me down." Said Makoto.

"We won't." Said Akira as he made that promise to her that they won't fail.

"I am glad to hear that." Said Makoto as she begins to walk to the exit door to head down back to leave from the school.

"She really had the upper hand in that exchange...." Said Morgana.

"'Don't let us down'.... Dammit, she was just bossing us around." Said Ryuji as he is angry right now.

"Ryuji!" Said Mikoto as she didn't like it when Ryuji is getting to angry at Makoto.

"Come on, lets go." Said Mason.

"Yeah, we really need to let Yusuke know what has happened." Said Morgana.

"Already on it." Said Akira as he begins to pull out his phone and begins to text Yusuke to meet him at the Hideout spot.

Hideout............

Everyone had gathered at their usual spot. They begin to fill in Yusuke of what Makoto deal is. Still though.... it doesn't change the fact that some of the Phantom Thieves members.... are... How should I put this? Are a little pissed at the moment.

"Ugh... I am so mad!" Said Ann as she is still clearly angry from hearing of what Makoto deal is and how much time they have to complete it.

"We know already Ann... for the tenth time on the way here you mention of how mad you are." Said Mikoto.

"Sorry... its just.... so hard not to be mad right now." Said Ann.

"The mafia? Hmm.." Said Yusuke as he is being calm right now and trying to process this.

"I can't believe that is who she want us to change someone heart. A person from a mafia?! Isn't that a little bit too much?" asked Mason.

"Can we really do this?" asked Ann. The only response is from a angry grunt from Ryuji who is not happy of the current situation.

"Either way, we have almost no information on our target. This guy's a crime boss, so I wouldn't be surprised if he had a Palace. Still...." Said Morgana as he pops out of Akira bag.

"That it will be hard to get any info about this crime boss?" asked Akira.

"Yep." Said Morgana.

"Isn't this a prime opportunity for us though?" asked Yusuke.

"How!? We're in huge trouble!" Said Ann as she narrows her eyes at Yusuke.

"What do you mean by that Yusuke?" Asked Mikoto as she is confused on what he means by that.

"Even after we have punished an evil man who seemed to be good, the public did not acknowledge us." Said Yusuke.

"He does have a point. The public didn't exactly fully believe that we are the ones to change Madarame twisted heart." Said Mason as he know understand his logic on that.

"You are correct Mason. However, if we take down an actual criminal, let alone a target the police don't have answers for..." Said Yusuke as made a pause for the other members to come to the same conclusion as he did.

"Oh! I get it now!" Said Mikoto with a smile on her lips.

"That might make people believe in us!" Said Ann.

This peeked Ryuji interested as he stood up with a smile on his face. "I get it! That means even Akechi'll have to acknowledge us as the Phantom Thieves!" Said Ryuji.

"Yes... or this could be a chance to prove the city that the Phantom Thieves actions are true justice and are always ready to help those in need." Said Mikoto as she pointed it out to Ryuji.

"Yes. That too." Said Ryuji.

"So what do you say Akira?" asked Mason

"Let's prove our justice." Said Akira.

"Nice!" Said a smiling Mason.

"Hell yeah! We just gotta do what we always do?" Said Ryuji.

"Don't be too excited Ryuji. Remember out time limit?" Said Mikoto.

"Our time limit is two weeks, correct? We can't afford to waste too much time. I'll ask around Kosei and see if there are any victims." Said Yusuke.

"Okay, I know some girls who go to Shibuya pretty often. I'll check with them about it." Said Ann

"Alright. Me and Ryuji will try to see if we can find anything on the net." Said Mason.

"Sounds like a plan." Said Ryuji.

"And what do you plan to do Mikoto?" Asked Akira.

"I... might know someone who might be able to at least narrow down the search of where this crime boss might be." Said Mikoto.

"Alright. That leaves our school up to Akira and Morgana. You figured out what to do during the whole Kamoshida thing, right?" Said Ryuji.

"I will back you up." Said Morgana as he told this to his friend Akira.

"Alright, lets get this investigation started as soon as we can tomorrow. Remember, we are all on a time limit. So lets make this work." Said Mikoto. Everyone nodded to what she said and begins to leave their meeting place to get ready for tomorrow.

With Mikoto..........

After they left their meeting spot, she took the long way back to Mason house. And walks through a empty alleyway. She stops as she pulls out her Gekota flip phone. She then dials a person phone number and places the phone up to her ear.

The phone rings a few times before someone managed to answer her call. "Mikoto? Is that you?" Asked a female voice was heard from the phone.

"Hey Uiharu. How have you been?" asked Mikoto with a smile on her lips.

"Oh everything here in Academy City has been you know... same old. Kuroko just keeps wondering on when you will return. It is a miracle that me and Saten are able to calm her down." Said Uiharu.

"Well, hehehe, I am glad to hear you two are managing to keep her under control. But that is not what I am calling about. I need your help on something." Said Mikoto.

"Oh? Of course. What can I do?" Asked Uiharu.

"Can you do a search on a crime boss that is in Shibuya? Of like do a search of where this crime activates are at?" asked Mikoto.

"Hmmmmm... I suppose I could do that. But may I ask why?" Asked Uiharu.

"Lets just say, I am trying to help a friend in need to help take down this crime boss. A crime boss that needs to be taken down before he can harm anyone else." Said Mikoto with a smile still on her lips.

"Of course Mikoto. I can do that. Give me until tomorrow to get the info you need. Until then, you stay out of trouble okay?" asked Uiharu.

"Hehehe, don't worry Uiharu. I am not in too much trouble. It was good to talk to you Uiharu. Bye." Said Mikoto.

"Bye Mikoto. Hope this info by tomorrow helps your friend out." Said Uiharu before the call ended. Mikoto then puts her flip phone back into her pocket and begins to head back to Mason house.

The Phantom Thieves have heard the deal that Makoto wants to make a deal with them. To take down a crime boss that has targeted the school students. And has given them a time limit as well or they will be reported to the police. Now the Phantom Thieves needs to get information about this crime boss starting tomorrow. Can they get the information they need?
