The violin introduction
3rd person POV:
The YDI Club entered the music room. They had gotten a request from a third-year student who was known as a prodigy violinist.
(Name:Violet Aila/age:18/occ:Violinist, student)
As they entered the music room, the club gained an ear full of lovely violin music.
The music flowed as smooth as a flowing river, but in the end, it came to a sudden screeching stop.
Violet:...
She turns towards the YDI club. Ryotaro was holding Pen, making him look like a stuffed animal, so they wouldn't have to deal with explaining an animal in the building.
Violet: Good, you're here.
(Y/n): You needed our help?
Violet: Yes... My violin has been stolen.
Akemi: But you're holding one.
Violet: This?
She holds out the violin in her hands
Violet: This is nothing but a cheap toy the school has lent to me.
Ryotaro: Y-you still played well...
Violet: Not by my standards. To me, It was like I was petting an animal with a knife. It was painful to do.
(Y/n): Surly a master of the instrument such as yourself can make anything sound beautiful, no matter how much it cost.
Violet: True... However, I have a more personal attachment to the one I lost.
Violet: Whether it has been destroyed or simply stolen, I would like to know the faith of it or my heart shall feel as hallow as a balloon.
(Y/n): We'll look into it.
Violet: Thank you.
(Opening theme)
Violet told the club what she knew.
Two days ago, the prodigy went to the music room to practice with her violin. After a few hours, she put her violin in its case and locked it with a 5 digit padlock that only she knew.
She then left the case in her locker. Returning the next day, she opened her violin case in the music room to find it filled with a few orange rocks.
Searching all over the place, she failed in finding it.
(Y/n) then asked at what times did she leave and arrived.
Violet left school at 6.30 pm and arrived the next day at 9 am.
The club then focused on the specific price of her violin. When Violet told them it was homemade, the price of it dropped immensely.
But knowing the net worth of the violin helped along with no reports of a break-in at the school, (Y/n) was able to deduce that the ones who stole it did when the school was open or possesses the keys and security codes for the school.
Seeing as the Principal is the only one with the keys and codes, they first went to him.
Akemi: You think it's the principal? He's too nice to do it.
(Y/n): He is too nice. That's why I think he might have given the keys and codes to someone, thinking they're just being upstanding people and helping an old man out.
Pen: If he's that nice, do you think he might give me a small lown.
Akemi: Don't mess with him. He doesn't deserve it.
Pen: Since when did you start carrying about people.
Akemi: Since screw you.
Arriving at his office, the group questioned him. He denied giving anyone the keys or codes, and from what they could tell, he was being honest.
With that, they had no lead on who could have done it.
But something was off, (Y/n) could tell. Why would someone steal a violin? Especially one that's only value lay in the sentimental category.
This wasn't something that someone did on a whim, it was premeditated, otherwise, why would the case still be there?
(Y/n):(mind) I didn't think much of this at first, but there's definitely something off.
(Y/n): Why would someone steal that violin?
Ryotaro: What if... What if there is a rival violinist that wanted to get the part Violet has?
(Y/n): Okay. Are there any performances she's going to be in or even another musician like her?
Ryotaro;... I don't think so.
Akemi: Maybe they thought it was valuable?
(Y/n): Perhaps...
Pen: Then why did they leave the case? They could have sold it with the violin.
Akemi:...
Ryotaro: Wasn't there rocks in the case? Maybe they put it in there so she wouldn't immediately notice the instrument gone.
(Y/n): That would mean they planned for Violet to figure out her violin was gone when it was already too late.
Pen: Or maybe the Usso is involved?
(Y/n): I don't think so... There really isn't proof of that yet.
Pen: We can theories all day and get nowhere, so let's do something! Like, go to the strip club!
Akemi: Eh-hem.
Pen: Listen, as soon as you're eighteen, I'll give you all the lap dances you want.
Akemi:(sarcastically) Wonderful...
(Y/n): Maybe someone thinks Violet is rich so they're going to ransom her violin.
(Y/n): So let's go check on her.
The YDI club then made their way back to Violet.
Violet: Did you find my violin?
(Y/n): No, but we do have a few more questions for you that should help us in our investigation.
???: Do not worry!
???2: For when mysteries cause distress...
??? 3: You can expect us sisters to solve the case!
Three girls jumped into the room and do a pose.
All three: We are... The triplet detectives!
Pen:(whispers) I think there confusing themselves with the feather men...
The three girls then introduced themselves.
(Name: Aiko Yukino/age: 17/occ: teen detective)
(Name: Mizuki Yukino/age: 17/occ: Teen detective)
(Rena Yukino/age: 17/occ: teen detective)
Aiko: We solve the case of your missing violin.
Mizuki then hands the Violin back to Violet.
(Y/n):?
Akemi: How did you find it?
Rena: Well-
Aiko: We found it with our supper wicked detective abilities.
(Y/n):(mind) Do you mean your deduction capabilities?
Mizuki: We're the towns, go-to investigation team.
(Y/n): Good for you, but we'd like to know exactly how you found the violin.
Violet: I don't care. My heart is no longer hollow because of my missing violin.
Violet: Thank you for your help.
She leaves.
Aiko: So you're the new club trying to replace us?
(Y/n): We're not trying to replace anyone. Until today, I didn't even you three were a thing.
Mizuki: Hey hey... No need to defend yourself, we're just teasing.
Rena: We're sorry if we gave off the wrong impression.
Aiko: How about we all hang out?
(Y/n):(mind) I need to know how they found the violin...
Looking at his friends who simply shrug at him. He agrees and the two groups leave to hang out.
