Star
This doesn't take place chronologically in the story.
3rd person POV:
Star part 1:
After the whole triplet incident, (Y/n) thought Violet, the girls whose violin was stolen, should know why it was stolen in the first place.
So he found her in the music room and explained the entire situation to her.
Violet: What does it matter?
(Y/n): Just thought you should know.
Violet: There are many things I should know...
Violet: What makes music so beautiful, how I could possibly improve, and why am I not confident with what should be my masterpiece.
Violet: However these questions elude me like the meaning of life!
It didn't take a genius detective to figure out, she was stressed.
(Y/n): Are you okay?
Violet: Is an off-key note pleasant?
(Y/n): Um...
Violet: No, the answer is no.
(Y/n): What's wrong?
Violet: I've composed a song, which I am to play in a few months from now to show the world my true level of skill.
Violet: But as I play it more and more, it simply pushes me down further to the path of despair that the future might hold for me.
(Y/n): What's wrong with the song?
Violet: Nothing. I believe the problem is me. Only someone who could be considered a master violinist could preform my song to the standards it deserves.
(Y/n): So you don't believe you're good enough?
Violet: I have no way to prove to myself that I'm a master of my craft.
Violet: Oh what am I to do...?
(Y/n):....
(Y/n): They say masters are people who can teach their craft. Maybe you should try teaching someone?
Violet: Teach...? Yes...
Violet: It is settled!
(Y/n): It is? What is?
Violet: I shall teach you to play the violin!
(Y/n): What?
Violet: Be here, 9 am tomorrow. Don't be late!
She then packs up her things and leaves before (Y/n) could say anything.
(Y/n):... Welp.
End of part 1.
Star part 2:
Arriving at the time frame Violet gave our young detective, he entered the music room to hear the sounds of the violin being played by Violet.
Violet: Ah, you showed up.
(Y/n): Well is Sherlock Holmes can play the violin, then so should I.
Violet: Playing the violin is reason enough, but to have an extra reason isn't bad.
Violet: Let's begin!
Handling him a violin, she first showed him the different parts of the instrument and taught him their names.
Then came how to hold the instrument. That was slightly difficult for our detective since Violet basically hugged his back to help position his body in the correct position.
In the end, he got over it. Soon after he was slowly learning "twinkle twinkle little star".
Violet: More emotion.
(Y/n): But it's just Twinkle twinkle little star...
Violet: It doesn't matter, you must put emotion into everything otherwise its lifeless.
(Y/n): Will irritated work?
Violet: Yes.
(Y/n): Okay...
Violet: Hm-hm... Yes... Not bad...
Violet: You've taken to the violin quite fast.
Violet: Time will only tell if you're a rock in a river or a plank.
(Y/n): Okay...
Continuing to play while trying to figure out what she meant, (Y/n) steadily improved.
End of part 2.
Star part 3:
Violet has been teaching (Y/n) for many weeks now. Surprisingly, he seemed to have a knack for it, since he developed quite quickly.
His talents may not be on the level of Violet, who could make any song sound like a masterpiece, but his teacher was pleased.
(Y/n): I've been wondering... How did you get into playing the violin?
Violet: My grandmother taught me.
Violet: It's something we both shared interest in.
(Y/n):... Tell me, do you feel more confident about your performance?
Violet: Slightly, but I still need some time.
(Y/n):(mind) She might simply be nervous... I think I know something that might help...
After practice, (Y/n) visited a certain room to practice a new song.
End of part 3.
Star part 4:
After months of hanging out, practicing the violin, and in general bonding, it was finally time for Violet to play her song.
There were several people waiting to hear the prodigy's masterpiece, however, there were three people there to scouting her out.
Impressing them would probably give a scholarship and skyrocket her career.
Backstage, Violet was extremely nervous, to the point where she was on the verge of a downward spiral in despair due to her own dark thoughts, however (Y/n) was ready.
(Y/n): Violet.
Violet: Yes?
(Y/n): I know you're nervous, so that's why I want to play you a song to calm you down.
Violet:?
(Y/n): Just listen, and I know you'll find what you need to get through this.
Taking out his violin, he played a song.
(The song)
After he stopped, Violet was visibly better.
(Y/n): Might have butchered it, but I did my best.
Violet:(smiles) It was just what I needed. Thank you.
Grabbing her violin, she went out to play her song.
(Violet's song)
The crowd enjoyed it immensely.
Walking back to the backstage where (Y/n) was, with the biggest grin, she approached him.
(Y/n): You were fantastic.
Violet: It's thanks to you.
(Y/n): I barely did anything.
Violet: You did more then you could ever realize.
A man then signaled to her, that some people wanted to speak with her.
(Y/n): It looks like you'll be busy.
(Y/n): Good luck, I'll see you later.
Violet: Hold on. I can't let your aid go unrewarded.
Violet: Close your eyes.
(Y/n): Sure...
Doing as she asked, he closed his eyes.
He then felt the soft touch of her lips against his own.
Violet then ran off to tend to her business. When (Y/n) opened his eyes, she was already gone.
(Y/n):... I love music.
Feeling a strong bond with her, (Y/n) walked home with a smile.
Star confidant complete.
