Chapter 9 : Ann Awakenings

Ren,Rin and Ryuji agreed to meet Morgana after they want to take Kamoshida down.All of them sneak in inside the castle.Morgana also explain we have to steal his treasure to change his heart.

"That his treasure?" Ryuji asked as they see something floating in air.

"No, today we just secured the infiltration route." Morgana said. "We'll need to make it materialize before we can steal it."

"So? You haven't told us the most important part yet." Ren asked to Morgana.

"Don't rush me.If a palace dissapear,the twisted desires should go with it.But desire itself is necessary for life.Sleeping,eating,love....stuff like that."

"What are you trying to say?" Ryuji asked.

"If all of his desires vanish,not just his twisted ones,he'll have a mental shutdown." Morgana said."Unless he's protected-"

"Worst case,he could die." Ren finished.

"........" Rin thought to herself as she put her hand at her chest.

"Depsite the risk,are you prepared to change his heart?"

Suddenly an alarm can be heard entire castle.

"Wh - What's that? Did they find us?"

"No,it's not us. Apparently there's another intruder."

"How do you know?" Rin asked.

"Wait here,I'm gonna look who's this intruder." Morgana walked out of the room to look what happen.

"I hope Morgana okay." Rin muttered.

"This is bad!" Morgana came back.

"That was fast!" said Ryuji.

"Your friend,Lady Ann!"

"What about her?! Takamaki?! Why?!"

"She's been taken by shadows!"

"WHAT?!?!"

We all arrived where the room that Morgana lead. We found that Takamaki being cuffed and also Kamoshida there too.

"Takamaki?!"

"Just when I was about to start enjoying myself." Kamoshida sound pissed.

"That voice.....Sakamoto? And the twins kid?"

"Hello,I'm Amamiya." Ren-nii introduced himself.

"That's not time for this,Ren-nii."

"Anyway,what are you doing here?" Ryuji asked to Takamaki.

"It's possible she was nearby when we used the Meta-Nav." Ren-nii put his hand on his chin.

"You three again?How many times you gonna come back?I bet you're just like those thieves." Kamoshida turned looking at Takamaki. "You came because you're pissed at me,huh?But,I forget the girl's name,but it's your fault she jumped?"

"Eh?!" Takamaki dumbfounded.

"You didn't give me what I wanted,so I had her take your place.If she croaks,it's on you!"

"Shiho?!"

"Stop!" Ryuji scream.

"Take one more step and I'll kill her on the spot."Kamoshida said as the guards point the swords at Takamaki.

"Dammit!"Ryuji backed away.

"Just sit back and enjoy the dismantle men show! "

"Takamaki-san! " You shout.

"Is this..... My punishment for what happened to Shiho...?" Takamaki muttered looking down.

"Shiho.... I'm sorry. " You can see her tears coming from her eyes.

"Takamaki-san! Don't give in!" you scream making her looking at you.

"Also without paying him back, for you or Suzui-san? "Ren-nii added. "She's your friend, right? Your only friend! "

"Yeah! Ever since middle school! "She shut her eyes. "I would space out in class and she was the only one who'd talk to me. But what he did to her..." She say before she lifted her head up. "I'll make him pay! That's right! I won't stay quiet while this scumbag talk shit! "

Suddenly we all watching Takamaki was on pain

And a red mask appeared on her face. Without hesitation, she ripped it off, then the blue flames surrounding her.

You all see that her clothes also changed.

Takamaki charged to guards and kicked the swords, she take it then slashed the fake Takamaki.

"I'm not some cheap girl you can toy with."

"Y-you wretched! "

"You stole everything from Shiho and crushed her under foot. But now you'll pay! "She stuck the swords on the floor. "I'll steal everything from you! "She point to Kamoshida as we all stand beside her.

"I've indulged you long enough! "Kamoshida said as the guards start attacking.

"I'm done holding back! Now it's my turn! " A whip appeared on her hand and she using to attack the guards.

"Not enough whip for you?Dance, Carmen! " Takamaki summons her persona using fire skill. The guards got burn by Takamaki. "Cry for me! "

"Whoa.... " you amazed looking at it.

"Scary... "Ryuji muttered. "A cougar? Or maybe she's one of those. "

"Don't say cougar! "Takamaki yelled. "And what you mean by 'one of those'!"

"Don't let your guards down, guys!"Morgana jumped and use his sling shot to attack one of enemy

"Smash! "Ryuji summons his persona.

"Kaguya! "You also summons your persona to attack.

"Yeah! " Ryuji exclaimed.

You all saw one of them still standing, then using wind to attack at us.

"Arsene! " you saw your brother summons his persona to defend.

"One more time. "Takamaki use fire skill again making the enemy knocked down.

"Let's go guys!!"all of us using all out attack with Takamaki ending with her pose.

"A beautiful rose has it's thorns! "

"Seriously... "Kamoshida ran away after watching all of us defeat his guards.

"Wait! " Takamaki about to after him but she fall on her knees.

"Takamaki-san! "You crouched down in her level. "You okay? "

She nod then she realised that her clothes has change.

"What's this outfit? When did I.... "

"Well explain later! Takamaki-san, right now we must get out of here before Kamoshida send another reinforcements! "

"You okay now, Takamaki-san? " You asked her.

"Hmm-mm. " she nod.

Then Ryuji bring two bottles drink and ask Takamaki which one she want.

"Whichever not carbonated. She answer.

"Uh, they're both actually. "

"Then.. " she take one of bottle.

"Here Rin-chan, this one for you ." Ryuji gave you other bottle drink.

"Oh, thank you. " you accept his drink.

"What about me? " Morgana popped his head from Ren-nii bag.

"Huh?but you're a cat. "Ryuji simply answer. "And that's novel style. "

Takamaki giggle. "A cat talking to people. This feels weird. We're the only ones who can hear him, right?"Takamaki ask.

"Yeah only people who have been in a palace can talk to me. " Morgana answer.

"To think a works like that exists. But I understood what you told me, so let's change his heart. "

"You serious? If we screw up... "

"It's fine. I know we can do if. I won't let Kamoshida die. He'll live to pay for his crimes. That'll be my atonement too. "

"Yeah, likewise. Oh yeah. Give me your phone number and chat ID too. " She take out her phone then she saw a red app on her phone. "What's this app? " She was about to click the red app but Ryuji said we explain it later about that app.

"Huh? " Ann dumbfounded.

"So, that what you've been calling a Meta-Nav. " Morgana said as he looked at Ren-nii phone.

"At any rate, now you guys are thieves like me. A real group of Phantom Thieves. "

"Huh? Phantom Thieves? "

"But without a treasure, we can't steak. What should we do? "Ren-nii asked to Morgana.
