Chapter 46: Ends of Summer Holiday

As today, it’s your turn to help Sojiro at the café. Your brother has plan with Ryuji this day and followed with Morgana also. Again Sojiro teach you make some another different coffee. You served the coffee and hope customer like it.

“This is delicious coffee,Boss! I really love it!” The customer said to him as Sojiro just smile.

“You getting better Rin.“  Sojiro compliment you.

You blush. “Thank you Sojiro-san.” You replied as you feel your phone vibrate.You take out your phone from your apron and saw a message pop up.

Futaba: Where are you?

Rin : Leblanc. Still working.

Futaba: I wanna go to Akihabara to buy a game. Can you meet me there?

Rin : By yourself? Will you be okay?

Futaba: Don’t worry, I know how to ride the train after the trip to the beach, so I can get there fine.

Rin : Be careful.

Futaba: Roger that.

Ends of chat.

You put away your phone and decided wash the dishes. After you done you wiped your hands. You told Sojiro to let him know that you have plan to meet Futaba after this.

“Sure Rin.I can take care of here.” You smile as you take off your apron and leave the Leblanc.

You enter the store that Futaba mention.

'Is this where we’re supposed to be meeting?’ You thought. 'But where’s Futaba-chan?‘ You look around try to find her but she still can’t be seen. You hope she’s okay. You take your phone to message her but someone call your name.

“Rin!” You turned and saw your brother and Ryuji approaching you.

“Oh,what are you two doing here?”

“Futaba messaged me to come here.“ Ren-nii answer.

Your raised your eyebrows. “You too?!“ They both nod. “But I can’t find her anywhere.“ You said starting to worried. “I need to find her again.“ You walked away leaving your brother and Ryuji behind.

“Wait Rin-“ Ren called you but you already gone his sight.

“She fast…“Morgana said.

Ryuji chuckled as he crossed his arms. “Well we should help her Ren. She seems really worried about Futaba.“  Ren nod as they both also find Futaba.

You stop when you already look around. “Where is she?“ You then saw a Police Officer seem talking to- “Futaba-chan?!“ You catch orange hair girl and run to her side. ”There you are!”

Futaba noticed you. “Rin!” She hug you tightly as you wrapped your arms around her.

“It’s fine.I’m right here.“ You reassured her.

“Who are you?” Police Officer ask to you.

“Oh umm…“ Still not let go of Futaba while you seems afraid to answer.

“Rin-chan!Futaba!“ You hear and saw your brother and Ryuji rushed to you. “You found her!“ Ryuji sound relief.

You push those two in front of you to face the police officer.

“You two know these guys?” Police officer asking again as you just nod. “You’re not lying, are you?“

“No sir, they both are my family.“ Ren-nii answer.

“Very well.“ Officer leave.

“You two okay?“ Ryuji ask looking at you.

“I’m fine.“ You replied.

“How about you Futaba?” She’s not answer as she still bury her head on your chest.

“How about we find a place somewhere more quiet?“ You said.

You guys find a place to seat and you managed make Futaba calm down.

“S-Sorry.” She talk. “I thought I conquered my fears back at the beach.“

“What happened?“ Ryuji asking her.

“There wasn’t anyone I knew with me, so I panicked. Felt like my heart was gonna pop… I got so scared all by myself…then I just sorta curled up, into a ball.“

“Futaba-chan…“ You pat her head.

“Then all these people started staring at me… and the police came and then it was all over…“

“If you’re ever in trouble, contact us.“ Ryuji inform to her.

You nod.  “Just contact us Futaba-chan.“

“You too Rin-chan.“

“Huh?“

“If you in trouble, contact us. And I will be there for you.“ Ryuji said to you.

Your face blushing. “O-Okay.” ‘Is he worried about me?’ You thought as you feel Futaba scoot over closer to you.

“Hm…I feel kinda calm when we’re this close. You’re ok being like this, right?“ Futaba staring at you.

“Of course Futaba-chan.” You smile at her as Ren-nii pat your head.

“You two kinda like big sis and little sister.” Ren-nii said to you two.

“Big sis?“ Futaba mutter as she suddenly hug you again.

“Well, since we got Futaba outta the house, why don’t we call the rest of the gang?“ Ryuji suggest.

“But-“

“I-I’m okay with that!“ Futaba exclaim as Ren-nii called the others to meet up and we decided to go Mementos.

“So this is Mementos...” Oracle said.

“Everyone’s Palace.“ Joker said.

“Are you ready Oracle?” You ask her as she nod smiling.

“Persona!” Orcale summon her power. “I’m sensing something. Directly under us!"

“New area confirmed in the depts.Updating guidance information.“ A voice informed to us.

“It got bigger again.” Mona said.

“Is it because we stole Treasure?” Panther wonder.

“No,I don’t think this domain expansion so because of that.” Oracle answer. “The causes are the number of searching for Phantom Thieves the hot word ranking, and the number of Phan-Site visits. Even now, it’s widening bit by bit.“

“In other words…the more popular we become, the bigger Mementos gets?“ Fox questions.

“Possibly. And if that’s so…“ Queen seems figures it out. “Then we’re expanding the place? By spreading recognition of the Phantom Thieves existence to the public.“

“Whoa!” You all surprised hearing that information.

“That’s awesome Futaba. How did you analyze all that?“ Skull ask.

“It was piece of cake.“ She answer with giggle.

“I’ve never been able to do that.” Mona mutter look down.

“Did you say something Mona-chan?" You ask him as he just silent there.

“Well everyone, I’m ready to go!" Oracle exclaim as you guys proceed to explore the Mementos. After we done, we went home.

After a few days you noticed Morgana seems little down . Like he don’t eat too much this day. Whenever you asking him, he will give same answer to you.‘Is something bothering him?‘ You thought as you just decided to take a walk around Shibuya. You buy a iced coffee can from vending machine and drink it. You finished it in one gulp, maybe it because the weather hot so you end up thirsty. You threw the can into trans bin. When you about to proceed your walk a voice called from behind you.

“Excuse me, you drop this.“ You turned seeing a boy with dark blue hair hold your wallet.

“Oh,thank you so much.“ You take your wallet back from him.

“Amamiya-san?” That boy said with his eyes widen seeing you.

You blink. “Oh,you know me?” You said but you seem know his face but where.

“Of course.Amamiya Rin. Your brother Amamiya Ren same class with me.“ He answer.

You finally remember him. That Kamoshida time. You also heard your brother, Ryuji and Morgana also mention his name before. “Yuki-san,right?“

“Just call me Mishima.“ He correct it.

“Well Mishima-kun since you return my wallet earlier, I really owe you one...”

“It's fine... there's no need.“

“How about I treat you a lunch today?“You ask him.

He shocked hearing that. “Huh?!Why so sudden?!“

“For giving my wallet back.“ You answer. “My brother will be mad if he know I lose this wallet. And I really owe you one.“

“Are you sure?“ He sound flustered.

You nod. “I’m very sure. How about we go there? The Diner place?“

“S-Sure.” He said. “How can I say no when a cute girl asking me to eat together.“ He mutter by himself.

“Hm?” You didn’t catch the last part.

“N-nothing. Should we go now?” He said as you nod and you both enter the Diner restaurant and find a seat. He sat across from you.

“Just order whatever you like.“ You inform to him.

“W-What?! I can’t do that! And I don’t want you spend the money too much for me!“

You giggle. “It’s alright Mishima-kun. Okay then how about this,I order the food I like and you just accept it.“

“Okay.” He said as you tell the waitress what you want.

While still waiting for food arrived , he ask about your day and you answer his questions.

“Can I tell you something?“ He ask.

“Hm,what is it?“ You titled your head a little.

“I know I already said this to your brother, but I must tell you too.“

“Hm?"

“Remember the rumors about your brother spreading around when you two transfer the first day.“

“Oh.” You remember how the students know about your brother record and the rumors spread so fast.

“I’m really sorry.“ He bowed his head to you.

“Mishima-kun. Don’t do that. It’s not your fault.“  You said.

“But-“

“It’s okay.And I know Kamoshida force you to do that." You said rubbed your cheek using your finger. "Oh ,I just remember you run the Phan-Site.” You try to change subject.

“How you know?” His eyes widen. “Is your brother told that?”

You nod.”Yup,it’s amazing when you can do that, Mishima-kun.” You smile cutely to him."Like you getting useful info."

“T-Thank you…” He can feel his face blushing. ”C-Can I ask you another question?”

“Sure go ahead.” The waitress place your both food on table. You dig in on your food.

Mishima grab the spoon and just stared at it. “Is it true that you and Sakamoto-kun dating?”

You immediately stop eating hearing his questions. “Huh?”

“I-I meant … I heard the rumor at school.”

“Umm…“ You just poked your food.

“And sometimes I noticed you having lunch with him instead your brother or Takamaki. I ask your brother and he seemed fine about it.I can feel he really trust Sakamoto-kun to take care of you.”

That word making your heartbeat faster.What's wrong with you.Why my heartbeat react so fast? You seemed okay when you with Ryuji,but when Mishima say that it makes your heart flattered. Could it be-

*Ring* *Ring* You saw your phone ring and saw Futaba messaged you.

Futaba: Can you come home early today?I got something to show you.

Rin : Okay Futaba-chan.

Futaba: Yay!!!

You put your phone back to your pocket.

“I’m really sorry Mishima-kun.But I have to go now.” You said as you both didn’t realised you finished your food .

“Oh that’s alright.I must get going as well.Thank you for treating me.” He said.

“Your welcome Mishima-kun.”

“I see you at school.” You smile and pay the meal then went back home.

“I'm back.” You open the door and went inside.

“Welcome back.” Ren-nii greet you.

“So where’s Futaba-chan?”

“You here!” She coming from upstairs and cling closer to you. ”Sojiro buy a fireworks for us,so I want light fireworks together,Big Sis!”

“Okay Futaba-chan.” You nod.

“Let’s go!” She pull you to go outside as you start the fireworks.

“Super double move!” Futaba exclaimed and swing around her fireworks. She stare at the stars. ”I wonder if Mom is watching.”

“Yeah.I’m sure she is.” Sojiro answer.

“Daaaang! I made a huge one!Big Sis,look! Look!” She show her posing style with fireworks.

You chuckled seeing her.”Memories of summer right, Ren-nii?” Your brother nod.

“Okey dokey,I’m gonna do ten now!” She exclaim and take more fireworks.

“Me too Futaba-chan!” You guys enjoy the night together.
