Chapter 39: Tomb

XXX

As the house still fill with scream,the unknown figure rushed to upstairs while still screaming.

"Futaba?!"

"What?!"

"She was here?"

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" Makoto hug Ren's leg tightly. "Help me!Sis,help me!"

"Are you Ok,Futaba?!" Sojiro voice coming from outside.

"Crap, he's home!Come here,Rin-chan!" Ryuji pull her closer to him and hide in the corner.Ann and Yusuke also hide there too.

A sound of door been sliding."Who's there?!" Sojiro take flashlight near the counter and flash at person in front of him. 

"You? What're you doing in my house?" Sojiro ask still watching Makoto hugging Ren's leg.

Makoto turned her head looking to owner house. "Oh...G-Good...evening,sir...We didn't mean to intrude.." She said as she let go Ren's leg and stand up.

"Niijima-san!" Sojiro said as the others walking reveal themselves. "Rin-chan!?You kids are here too?!"

"Umm,we bought you some sushi,but nobody answer when we rang the bell...The door was unlocked too." Ann explain to Sojiro.

"The door was unlocked?" Sojiro ask as all of them nod. "I do that sometimes.Guess I'm getting old." Sojiro rubbed his neck.

"Um,excuse me.There's something we'd like to ask."

"You wanna ask me?"

Makoto nod. "There's someone else living here, isn't there?"

"My daughter." Sojiro mutter.

"Could she be Futaba Sakura..?"

"You told Niijima-san too?!" Sojiro yelled to Ren.

"Um...is there any way we could meet with Futaba-san? I think we may have frightened her earlier,so we'd like to apologise if at all possible..."

"Well.... that's..."

"Is she sick?" Makoto ask again.

"No, it's not like that." He quickly answer as all the teen staring at him.

Sojiro sigh." I don't want you all getting the wrong idea..."Sojiro turned looking at twins. "I shouldn't have kept this a secret from you two.Let's talk at my shop.She'll hear us if we stay here."

XXX Leblanc XXX

Inside the Leblanc,Sojiro start tell all about Futaba to them. About her mother how she die.

"Then,a few months ago...She started getting real scared,even when nothing was happening.She'd say things like , 'I hear voices...' and, 'Mom is looking at me...' "

"Visual and auditory hallucinations..." Yusuke said. "Have you taken Futaba to a doctor?"

Sojiro shook his head. "I wanted to,but she refused.Even when I had a doctor come,she locked herself away in her room.Since then, she's become what you'd call as shut-in.She won't take a single step outside the house,or even try to see other people."

"What about you?" Yusuke ask to him.

"She doesn't even let me come in her room." Sojiro answer.

"That's pretty harsh..."

"So yeah....her situation is why I couldn't let you two in my house."Sojiro said looking the twins." And remember you two first moved here? I really surprised that Rin-chan face kinda similar to her, if Futaba had black hair, they both be like a twins too. She really remind me of Futaba."Sojiro laugh a little.

"We understand,Sojiro-san." Rin replied.

"Well, that's that.Im gonna head back then.You all had better head home soon too." Sojiro leave the Leblanc.

"I feel awful for prying into his personal affairs..." Makoto said feeling guilty.

"No way in hell he's abusing her..."

"Hey,while listening to him,I couldn't help but think we're right about Futaba and Alibaba being the same person." Ann said

"She wants help about being shut-in,so she asked us to steal her own heart?" Yusuke said.

Ren touch his bangs and saying something. "A palace?"

"Huh?"

"Do we even know if she has a palace?" Ren ask.

"Good question.Let's take a look." Makoto took out her phone and open Meta-Nav app.

"The Futaba Sakura that lives at Sojiro Sakura house.Is that enough?" Ryuji said as the app give a respond hit .

"Candidate found."

"What the?"

"She's got one..."

"So someone can have a Palace even if they're not evil?" Ann said also confused.

"Hey Mona- chan-"Rin called him but he's not in Ren bag.

"Where's Morgana?"

"I haven't see him for some time."

"He'll be fine though. He's a cat after all." Ryuji answer as Rin giggle.

"If Mona-chan heard that,he will mad at you.You know he don't like people call him a cat."

"Sorry.Besides he's not here,so I guess it be fine."

"We should probably be headin' home now."

Makoto nod. "We have to go school in the morning,after all." Makoto remind the others.

"Ohh, right.The urgent assembly." Ann frown as Yusuke ask why and Ann explain to him.

"Well good night everyone.." Rin waved her hands as other leave.

After the twins done taking a bath,the twins about to go sleep when Morgana cames back .Morgana told the twins about Futaba how she look and she hear the group conversation earlier.

"Well we should let others come here tomorrow after school." Rin said as they done for the night.

XXX Next Day XXX

After school we all meeting at Leblanc attic. You take a drink as you listen the others talking.

"Her hacking skills will be absolutely necessary if we wish to stand up to Medjed." Makoto said.

"We'll have to trust in her skills for now then." Yusuke replied.

"So do we all agree about taking on Futaba's Palace?" You guys nod.

"She's asked us to do so.I don't think that part is an issue. If we heal Futaba's heart,it will not only help Boss,but she can then assist us with Medjed." Makoto explain.

"I agree." Then you guys plan to sneak into Sojiro-san house again because need to know one keywords still missing.

"Let's do it.As Phantom Thieves, I'm confident we can." Ren-nii told.

XXX Inside Sojiro's house XXX

"This is Futaba's room."Morgana said as you guys standing in front of her door.

"Futaba-chan? You're in there, right?" Makoto lightly knock the door.

"There's no answer ..." You said.

"We just need one last keyword...What about chat?" Yusuke ask to Ren-nii.

"Let's try it." Ren-nii take his phone and open the last chatting with Futaba.

R: Alibaba

R: Please

R: Answer me

A: Why are you here?

"She's respond." You mutter.

"We want to learn more about you.If we don't,we can't steal your heart." Makoto told as no replied again.

"Try it again,Ren -nii."

R: Why don't u come out?

R: Is it that comfortable in there?

A: It isn't comfortable.

A: It's miserable.

R: If you're miserable,why do you shut yourself up in there?

R: You should try coming out.

A: I can't go out.

A: I won't go out.

A: I'm going to die here.

You gasped."Wha-Die?!"

R: Why do you say that?

A: This place is

A: My tomb

"Tomb?" Makoto mutters as a voice coming from Ren-nii's phone.

"You have a hit ."

R: Wait for us.

R: We'll change your heart.

A: Really?

R: Of course.

R : Don't forget our deal.

A: Medjed ,right?

A: I know.

All of you nods as Ryuji click Ren-nii's phone and you can feel aura changed.

XXX Futaba Palace XXX

The first thing you see is the dessert.

"Our clothes are still the same?" Ryuji questions as you guys still wearing school uniform.

"Futaba herself is asking us to changed her heart. It'd be odd if she saw us as a threat." Mona explain. "If she doesn't see us as an enemy,then your clothes don't change. That's how it works."

"Even though we entered right in front of her room,we didn't end up inside it." Ann wonder about that.

"She must really want to keep people away from her." Makoto replied.

"Let's hurry up and get going.Where's the Palace?"

"Is it that way?" You point as you see the shiny thing.

"A tomb in the dessert...I see." Makoto nod. "Anyway,let's make our way there."

"Are we gonna walk?" Ryuji surprised.

Mona growl. "Of course not!My paws will get burned!" Then Mona transform into a car.

"I've been waiting for this." Yusuke exclaim as you all enter the car.

The boys take back seat while we the girls get in front seat.Makoto at driver seat,you beside her and Ann beside you .

Still in the car,before arriving at tomb ,you just stared looking what in front of you while you can feel the hotness in here.

"It's stuffy..." Ann sigh.

"Yes I know..." Makoto replied."But it's still opening the windows to the hot dessert air."

You leaning in front as you using your hand fanning yourself. You closed your eyes and can feel this heat.At this weather you can't think anything.It's like your mind is blank. The last thing you hear is Ann pissed something boys on back.

"Is that it?" Ren-nii said as you guys see the large pyramid.

You guys finally arrived and get out the car.You saw Mona back to original form.

"It's so hot..." You using your hand again fanning yourself.Ren walked towards you and ask you turn around." Huh?" You turned as your brother behind you.You can feel he hold your hair and bring up your hair and he tie like side ponytail.

"Hey,a pyramid's a tomb,right?" Ryuji ask.

Yusuke nod. "Yes.It's a pharaoh's tomb." Yusuke using his finger frame again,picturing it." It's beautiful nonetheless... It's perfectly confirmed to the golden ratio..."

"There." Ren done tying your hair.

"Thank you Ren-nii." At least you can feel slightly air blow at you.

"Wow you look cute when your hair like that,Rin-chan." Ann giggle."I didn't know Ren could do that."

"Yusuke?" Makoto called him as you look Yusuke now do that finger frame on you.

"I admit it this perfectly beautiful than this tomb." Yusuke smiling at you.

You cup your both cheek.Why you feel  like this?Is it the way Yusuke compliment you or is it just a heat? "C-Can we go in already?" You stutter.

Ann and Makoto giggle as they both take your hand and you guys walked inside the pyramid.

As you guys make your way inside.A girl appeared in front of you guys.She wears clothes in the style of Egyptian fashion as a combination of Cleopatra and a Pharaoh, consisting of an outfit including a sleeveless top made of wraps that also covers her neck and exposes her midriff and a white floor-length skirt along with wraps that connect to her bracelets and upper armpieces, and a golden headpiece that has a snake in the front and bares the top of her head along with red jewels.

"Is that her?"

"Futaba?"You saw that her eyes color of yellow.

"It looks like her,bit it's not the real one." Mona said." That's Futaba's shadow."

"Those who plunder my tomb... Why have you come?" Her shadow speak.

"What're you saying?You want us to changed your hearts,right?"Ryuji said.

"If you think you can,then try as you might."Futaba Shadow replied.

"That's rather defiant."

"Perhaps she's one of those 'tsundere' types." Yusuke told.

"Considering the state my Palace is in... There is no way you can steal it."

Suddenly you can hear woman and man voice can be heard around this tomb.

"Creepy..."

"You killed her!"

"It's your fault!"

"Murderer."

"You mudered her! "

"You're cursed!

"Murderer!"

You saw Futaba Shadow clutching her head when she hear this voices. "That's right.It's my fault.I'm the one who killed my mother."

"Die!"

"Murderer!"

"Die!"

"I killed my mother..." Futaba Shadow mutter as you hear a creppy voice scream loudly.

"What was that?" We all shocked hearing that .

You saw Futaba Shadow gone as suddenly all of your clothes change to Phantom Thieves outfit.

"Our clothes!"

"She sees us as a threat now..." Fox said as suddenly giant ball appeared and about to roll toward you guys.

"Run!!!" You sprint fast as you can and  you guys make way to outside.

XXX Real World XXX

After done in that palace,you guys stopped at Leblanc to take a break.You saw the news about Medjed again.

"In order to stop them,we need to changed Futaba Shadow before the 21st."

"Our deadline is about two days prior,so the 19th."  Makoto informed.

You guys decided this place for next hideout.

"We must take care not to be discovered by Boss." Yusuke said.

"All right then.We must go now." You see the others leave and you also end up the night.
