Chapter 36: Fireworks Festival

Today is the last exam . You did well to your exams . Maybe because of your studying . You sigh in relief as you feel vibrate came from your phone . You saw the group chat is on .

Ryuji: Fireworks !

Ann: I can't wait !

Makoto: * happy emoji*

Yusuke: *dancing emoji*

Rin : :)

Seeing this message make you can't wait anymore for festival .

"Rin-chan . . ." You turned to look back seeing Ryuji called you.

"Hey Ryuji , how did you do? You know , exams?"

"Ugh ,fine I guess . . . "He sigh.

"I'm sorry . I shouldn't ask that."

"It's fine . But man , I can't wait for fireworks festival."

You nod . "Me too."

He scratched his head for a while as he feel hesitating to ask something to you . "Uhhh . . . So are you gonna wear a yukata?"

"Yeah , with Ann and Makoto." You smile .

"I looking forward to it." He said. "Especially you." He mumble the last part .

"Hmmm ? "You didn't catch what he said.

He shake his head . "Nothing . Anyway , you got plans today?"

You put your finger on chin think if you have any plans today. "Nope , I'm free . "

"Great wanna hang out ? You pick the place."

"How about arcade ? There's a game I wanna play." You answer.

"Sure." He stand up from his seat. "Oh before that , can I take a leak for a minute?"

You nod . "Sure Ryuji , just take your time . And I'll be waiting at the school gate."

"OK . I won't be long." He left as you walk until arrived at school gate . You lean on the wall . While waiting for Ryuji , you saw that a girl with short fluffy hair watering a school plant.

As you watching her you didn't realise a group of boys approaching you .

You saw and know all of them . It's the same group when you buy a soda can and Makoto came saving you .

"You still remember us?" One of them approach you with smirk on his face . "You still owe us you know?"

You just silent there and bring you bag closer to your chest .

"Come on . Today you must come with us . We treat you today." He about to grab your arm but suddenly another hand slap away that guy hand .

You saw Ryuji standing protective in front of you .

"Don't you dare lay finger on her!!!" Ryuji  shout making the others student turn look at you all .

"Shit . Sakamoto here! Let's get out of here before he snaps!" They quickly run away .

Ryuji turned looked at you . "Are you alright ? He didn't do anything to you?"

"No." You shake your head .

"Are you sure ? He didn't touch you anywhere ? "

You chuckle " I'm fine . Really."

"That's good." He sound relief .

"Come on . Let's go to arcade!" You smile as you both hang out together at arcade until didn't realise it was evening .

Xxx Next Day Xxx

Evening/ Your room

"I can't wait for festival tomorrow." You laying on bed .

"Me too . I can't wait to see Lady Ann." Morgana said.

"You seeing her almost everyday. Why you seem hype ? Is it something special?" You smirking.

"Of course . Tomorrow you can see she wearing a Yukata." Morgana smile as waging his tail.

You chuckle . "Aww Mona-chan . . ." You pat his head . You turned hearing a footsteps . You saw your brother , maybe he done helping Sojiro-san downstairs .

"Hey , Ren-nii . . . " You waved at him .

"What you both discussed here?" He take off his apron and put on table .

"About festival tomorrow . "

Ren-nii sat on bed . "I see . "

You staring your brother face . "Ren-nii . . . "

"Hmm ? "

"Can I borrow your glasses for a sec?"

He take off and give to you . "Here."

You wear and looked at Mona . "How do I look Mona-chan?"

"You look cute Lady Rin."He smile .

You chuckled . " Thank you , Mona-chan." You turned to your brother . "Can I suggest for you something tomorrow Ren-nii?"

"What is it ? "

"Go without wearing glasses for tomorrow . "

"For what?"

"You know . . Umm to change up the pace."

"No . . . "He answer

"Aww come on , Ren-nii . Just for tomorrow , please . "

" I'm surprised that is fake glasses his wearing all time . And when inside Mementos , he's not wearing it." Mona said . "Why Ren wearing that?"

"Oh you know, people will think he's a 'good boy'." You answer . "When we about to moved here , he suggest to me to wear a glasses like him too , but I didn't want it . "

"I see."

"Say , how about it Ren-nii?"

"No."He reject again .

"Hmm . . . "You pout as you suddenly got a plan . 'I know...' You thought with a smile on your face .

"What're you smiling about , Lady Rin?" Morgana ask .

You shake your head . "Nothing."

"Anyway are you gonna take a bath?" Your brother ask.

"Crap , that's right!"

Xxx Next Day Xxx

"I see you at the station on this evening , Ren-nii!" Rin rushed going downstairs .

"Be careful ! "Ren remind his sister .

"Hey , Ren . You better be early . Don't want be cramped inside the train later." Morgana said to him .

Ren nod as he searching something .

"What are you looking for?" Morgana ask.

"My glasses . Have you seen it?"

"No." Morgana replied .

"I usually put on the desk ." Ren said as he remember conversation yesterday . "Wait a sec." He grab his phone and message his sister .

Ren: Rin , did you take something from me ?

Rin: No , what is it ?

Ren: Little sis , don't lie to me . I know you take my glasses right ?

Rin: Oops , busted . Yeah I did :)

Ren: Give it back .

Rin: This evening . It's not like you can't see anything .

Ren: Fine . Just be careful on your way to Makoto's house .

Rin: Understood , Joker !

Ren sigh .

"So?" Morgana continue ask .

"She have it "

Morgana chuckle . "Well we just hurry to station then . "

Ren nod . "Yeah."

Xxx Station Xxx

Three boys along with Morgana waiting for girls arrived .

"RenRen , why are you not wearing a glasses?" Ryuji ask Ren .

"I 've been meaning to ask that well." Yusuke said as Ren explain two of them .

"So are you saying those glasses are fake? For real?" Ryuji exclaimed .

"Sorry for the wait guys." All the boys turned see the three girls arrived wearing a yukata . All of them amazed looking at girls .

"You all look pretty . "Morgana said.

Ann laugh . "Thank you , Morgana." Then  Ann said better hurry before it's get crowded . All of then walked ahead first leaving Rin and Ryuji still standing there .

"Ryuji?" Rin called him .

"Huh?"

"We're gonna be late if we still here."

"Yeah . . . " He answer as they both start walking side by side.

"Umm , Rin-chan . . . "Ryuji try to break a silence .

"Hmm ? "

"It's um you really look pretty when you wear that." Ryuji glanced at Rin before he feel himself blushing a little .

"T-Thank you Ryuji . . . "Rin smile also blushing.

"And that Yukata really suits you."He said again before he realised the groups already too far."Crap,I can't see them.We got to catch them! "

"You go on ahead.I can't run with these yukata."

"What?! Like hell I'm gonna leave you alone here!"

"But-Ahh!" People bumped into Rin making her stumble .

"Rin-chan!"Ryuji grab Rin's hand and pull her closer at his chest . "Just stay by my side . We're gonna past them . Just follow my lead okay." Rin nod as they both out the station .

Both of them finally regroup to the others and also the fireworks also started .

Rin POV

"I see it!" Ann jumps trying to see the fireworks.

As you watching a fireworks you feel a single drop water hit on your face .

"Hm?" You look up and wipe your cheek.

"Mew!" Morgana quickly get inside Ren's bag as the rain start pouring .

"Why now . . . "Makoto sigh .

You guys make it at outside convienece store to take a shelter from rain .

"This sucks." Ann comments.

You turn on right see a familiar girl just got inside a black car . 'She's got a ride.' You thought as you look down and realised something on your chest.

"Jeez! I put on a nice yukata and it gets soaked!" Ann pull her yukata from under until exposed her leg.

"Ann . . . . "Makoto called her.

"Yeah ? "Makoto point beside her as Makoto turned look at you. "Rin -chan ? What's wrong?"

"Makoto . . . . It's um . . ."You crossed your arm around trying to hide your chest part . "Remember you said that if this yukata gets wet."

"Wait! Are you saying?!" She gasped as Ann also hear.

"Yeah . It can see if my shape breast and the worst is I'm not wearing a bra." You whisper at her.

"Is something happen?" You turned and all the boys look at you .

"No , no . We're fine . It just Rin-chan getting cold here." Ann quickly answer.

"Let's go inside then." Ren-nii said as you all enter the convenience store .

"We're just trying to get outta the rain , but look how crowded it is . . ." Ryuji said .

"I guess everyone had the same idea . . . . "Ann replied .

"This bites."Ryuji sigh. "When we've got both finishing finals and reforming Kaneshiro to celebrate . . ."

"Ryuji , lower your voice . . . " Makoto said to him.

"It's fine . Everybody's too wrapped up in their own business to hear me."

"Still , we have to be careful!" Morgana remind us all.

"The rain is letting up . Though it's regrettable , we should go our separate ways for today." Yusuke said as the others part away.

"Bye Rin-chan." Ann waved at you.

"Bye bye . "You waved back . "Achoo!" You sniff.

"Rin,are you alright?" Ren-nii placed his back hand on your forehead.

You nod . "I'm fine , just a bit cold."

"I'll buy you a medicine . Why don't you wait outside?"

"Thank you Ren-nii." You get out the store . You saw a familiar tall figure still here . But he's not alone,there's a two girls talking to him . "Yusuke?" You mumble.

Yusuke noticed you then he said something to those two girls and he walked towards you as he leaving those girls behind.

"My lady , what are you doing here outside all alone?" He ask as you saw those girls seems whispering something and then they leave.

"Oh I'm . . . Achoo!" You rubbed your nose . "Sorry Yusuke."

"Are you feeling cold?"

"A little bit . "You answer as he suddenly pull you a hug.

"Let me warm you up." He hold you closer as you head rest on his chest .

You feel your heart pounding when he do that.

"Those two earlier . Do you know them?" You try break a silence.

"They just ask me to accompany them until back home."He replied as he feel something soft on his chest.He push you gently and hold your shoulder,then he noticed on your chest.

"What's wrong Yusuke?"You stare at him.

"Are you perhaps not wearing..."His eyes looked away as you look down and realised your situation.

'Crap!' You cover your chest again and understand why Yusuke like that earlier. 'He know!'You blushed as you turned not facing him and you feel arm wrapped around you behind.It seems he hug you again.

"My apologies for saying that." You can feel his voice whisper beside your ear.

"Yusuke."You mumble as you hear someone coughing . You both turned and look your brother staring you both. You quickly push Yusuke lightly. "Ren-nii . . . "

"I must get going now . Farewell." Yusuke said as he leave.

Your brother approach you . "Is there something you wanna tell me about what happen just now?"

"Oh , that was n-nothing Ren-nii." Hope your brother don't get wrong idea .

"Lady Rin , we got a medicine for you." Morgana said .

"T-thank you . .." Your brother ruffled your hair.

"Come on , let's go back home and eat your medicine." You both went home.
