Chapter 26: Study Trip !

Rin POV

Today the day when the trip begin .We arrived at the tv station . Kawakami-Sensei remind the student don't cause any trouble . Then we need to listen the woman talking about commercial anything related this tv station .

"Huh . . . "Ryuji crossed his arms while you also just listening .

After 10 minutes still listening you feel little sleepy and leaning your head on Ren-nii left shoulder.

"Could this get any more obvious . . . ?" Ann said with sigh .

"Hey , how much longer does this go ?"Mona whisper as he still inside Ren-nii bag .

"I swear , I'm not gonna last . ." Ryuji yawned .

Suddenly a man just bumped Ren-nii making you stumble a bit before Ryuji catch you and that guy yelling the PR woman .

"Hey , assho-" Ryuji about to cursed but you stop him .

"Ryuji ! " You hold his arm as the woman ends her talk .

"Dammit . . . Who does that jerk think he is ? "Ryuji growled as you ask your brother okay .

Then another man approached Ann and ask her if she want be in TV . He also give his card to Ann and she just accept it . Then he also noticed you . He about to approach you but your brother and Ryuji already standing in front of you .That man gulped, feeling afraid and just leave .

'This two boys so overprotective . ' You thought with giggle .

After we exploring the tv station , we stopped at the hallway to take a break . Ann suggest that we should check out or go shopping while still have time .

"Oooh , I know a place ! I wanna go that huge pancake looking place we passed in the way here ! "Mona exclaim . "It looked delicious ! What was that ? "

"You mean Dome Town ? "

"Excuse me , I couldn't help but notice
your uniform . Are you students of Shujin Academy ? "A voice making we turned . He wears a tan peacoat with black buttons, striped black and white tie, black pants, black gloves and black loafers.

'Wait is he-' You gasp .

"Yeah , whaddya want ? "Ryuji ask .

"I happened to be passing by , so it seemed polite to greet you . Oh and thanks for the tasty coffee last time ."He said looking at Ren-nii . "Ah , where my manners ? My name is Goro Akechi . "He introduce himself . "I'm glad I got to see you . I wanted to thank you . I'll have to drop by your coffee shop again."

"Sure . "Ren-nii nod .

Akechi about to leave when he say to us if we going to have pancakes.  " I missed lunch today , so I'm quite hungry myself . "

"Huh ? Cake ? What're you taking about ? "Ryuji ask .

"Oh , am I mistaken ? No matter , sorry . "Then he leave .

Today is the day when we watch Akechi interview . When Akechi appeared you can hear the girls squeal . You also can't help but blush a little when you stare at him .

You just listening the announcer interview Akechi until they ask about Madarame case making you flinch a little .

" What're you thoughts on these Phantom Thieves of justice ?"The announcer ask Akechi .

"If they truly are heroes of justice , I sincerely hope they exist ." Akechi answer .

"Oh , so you don't deny the possibility that they're real ? "

Akechi smile . "I may not look it , but I sometimes wish Santa Claus actually existed . "He said making the audiences laugh at his jokes .

"......."

"But hypothetically speaking , if these Phantom Thieves are real . . . I believe they should be fried in court of law . " He said making we all shocked .

" That's quite the statement . Are they commiting crimes ? Some people sat that the Thieves are helping their victims , like Madarame to abandon their evil ways . "The host said.

" What the artist Madarame did truly was an unforgivable crime . However , they're taking the law into their own hands by judging him . It is far from justice ." Akechi explain .

" You're very clear on that . "

"The worst thing someone can do is forcefully change a person's heart . "

" Who does he thinks he is?!" Ryuji muttered as you just silent there .

"Now then , let's try asking our studio audience on their opinions ! "The woman announcer  walked and stop at Ren-nii . "What are your thoughts on the Phantom Thieves ? "She bring the microphone to let Ren-nii answer .

" They're justice itself ! "Ren-nii answer .

" That's a strong assertion . "Akechi said then he ask another question , what if your friend suddenly change heart it is of Phantom Thieves .

"Not at all ! "Ren-nii quickly answer .

"I see . If they believe in justice , then that wouldn't happen . But more important issue is at hand ."He also said when the train case this spring caused by Phantom Thieves .

"Screw you ! "Ryuji growled, whispering.

Akechi said he works with police to help this case . After that the interview ends .

"It kinda seemed like what he was saying might be right . . . "Ann said as she put her finger on her chin .

"He made it sound like we're the baddies . I don't like it . "Ryuji said .

" But that stuff about the police . . . Do you think it's for real ? "

"He can say whatever he wants . The justice of it all is something we can decide for ourselves . "Mona said .

"Oh sorry , I gotta go take a leak . Can you guys wait here ? I'll be right back ."Ryuji leave as Ann said she go on ahead .

"Bye Ann . "You waved at her as you and your brother still waiting there .

"Hello . "You both saw Akechi approaching you both . You immediately standing behind your brother .

" I'm glad found you . I wanted to thank you in a person . "Akechi said to Ren-nii while you just listen . Then he notice you . "Hello there . "

You just returned him a smile .

"Is she your sister ? "He ask as Ren-nii nod while he still staring at you . "Thought so . "Akechi smile then he wants to talk with Ren-nii again .

"Fine by me . "Ren-nii answer .

" Thank you . It makes me glad to hear
that . The students from Shujin are truly quite interesting . "He said then he waved at me . You waves him back. "See you around . "And then he leave while you just stared at him leaving .

" Enough staring . . . "Ren-nii ruffled my hair .

"I- I'm n-not ..." You pout as Ryuji arrived .

"Sorry for takin' so long ! Wait , was that Akechi ? "He ask as Ren-nii just nod .
"What he talk about? "Ryuji ask again as Ren-nii told the conversation them earlier ."I see... "

"Let's go. "Ren-nii said as he start walking. Before you walked away, Ryuji grab your hand making you turned look at him.

"Ryuji....? "

"Rin-chan.... Umm.... Did Akechi talk to you too? "You can feel his grip tighter a bit around your hand.

"H-He j-just talking to Ren-nii... "You answer. Why you stutter?

He look down a sec. "I see... "He let go your hand. "Sorry... "

'You can hear a hint anger on his voice.'You thought. 'Am I doing something wrong? '

"Come on, let's go.... "He start walking as you walking beside him.

Lunch time

Ryuji still pissed off about Akechi yesterday making he punched a vending machine .

"Did he bring up the police to gain the public's favor ? "Said Ren-nii while you place your hand on your chest .

"We can't underestimate that guy . "Mona said .

" We'll be okay if we keep being Phantom Thieves , right ? "Ann ask .

"We can 't let the cops scare us outta bein' Phantom Thieves . "Ryuji said .

"But what about that weird guy form Madarame's Palace ? Isn't there a lot we don't know ? "You ask when suddenly a click flash at you guys . You guys turn look it was Miss President.She taking a pictures of you guys.

"You four seem to be having so much fun . I'm a little jealous . "She said .

"Are you snoopin' on us again ? "Ryuji sound little annoyed .

"You guys seem worried about something . My ears are always open to the trouble of my peers , you know . "She said .

"Listen ? When you can't do anything ? "Ann said to her . "Did the student council do anything to save Shiho from Kamoshida ? "

"Well , what did you do for your friend ? You we're closer to her than I was right ? "

"There wasn't any way to help ! By myself . . . I couldn't do anything for her ! "Ann shouted as you hold her shoulder .

" There's no need to shout . "Miss President said .

"It must be the same feeling as wanting to help someone ."Ren-nii said .

"I wanna support that kind of thing ."Ryuji said .

Niijima-Senpai stay silent for a seconds . "Just to make sure you show up to class , all right ?"Niijima-Senpai leave .

"I take back what I said before , about being able to keep this up . I'd be ashamed to let it end now . "Ann said .

" Hell yeah !" Ryuji exclaimed . " Especially since we haven't done anything wrong ! This is our justice ! "

"Right . " You nod .
