Design;

Akari is very young, the youngest member of the Phantom Thieves. She has long, thin black hair and ash grey eyes like her sister. In Akiro's account, if Akari was taller and Akano dyes her hair back, they look like twins. The first outfit she's in is a white off-shoulder top with a black singlet underneath as well as a white skirt with black stripes and black flats.

During winter, Akari wears an ombre pink hoodie along with black track pants and white sneakers. For accessories, she has a hot pink headband and a pearl necklace around her neck. Lastly, her fingernails are painted hot pink.

In summer, Akari wears a hot pink halter top with white flower designs and a pair of denim shorts. Around her waist is a white hoodie and on her feet are a pair of white sandals.

Her swimsuit is a white one piece with pink polka dots and black jandals. Over it is an oversized, white translucent t-shirt.

Her sleepwear, much like her sister, is two outfits. Her first one is a flower-patterned onesie while her other one is another onesie that has panda aesthetics with short sleeves and pants legs. It also has a hoodie.

Her phantom thief attire is similar to her sister. She has the red blouse but it doesn't have sleeves. There is a white translucent cardigan with flowers embroidered on it that is tied in front. She doesn't have a corset and her skirt is high waisted. Her boots are not thigh high but are now ankle boots with no heels. Lastly, her mask is a farfalla fiore mask.

In Persona 5 Royal, Akari wears a thick pink sweater with a snowman design on it with a light orange scarf. For bottoms, she has a pair of white ripped jeans and light orange boots. She also has two braids sweeping over her shoulders.

In Persona 5 Scramble, Akari wears a light orange dress that ends above her knees along with a light pink cardigan over. Bottoms include fishnet stockings and a pair of brown sneakers. Akari's hair is also in pigtails like Ann's.

In Persona 5 Dancing in Starlight, her outfit has a light, black singlet with spaghetti straps that is high-necked and low back and Aztec patterns embroidered on it that shows a hot pink crop top underneath. On her legs is a pair of black short shorts with a pastel pink translucent skirt that's short in the front and long in the back. On her feet is a pair of hot pink sneakers which match with her headphones around her neck. On her left hand is a single pastel pink glove while on her right hand is a bunch of glow in the dark bracelets in a rainbow.

Akari is a very intelligent girl for her age, not actually needing home school for her year. She is very compassionate and cares deeply for her older sister. Because of this, she is overprotective of Akano since she is afraid she might do something reckless. She is also, like her big sister, an otaku.

When it comes to other characters, she connects the most with Futaba. The two are mostly talking about the different types of anime they've binged watched together and would have Sunday night Neo Feather Man sessions. 

With the other girls, they treat her like a little sister which makes Akano happy. They spoil her, feed her and take her out to have some fun. For the boys, Akari continuously tests them to see if they're good for her sister as she finds it obvious they have intimate feelings for her.

Etymology;

Akari (丹李) literally means light. This is a reference of Akari being a light in Akano's life and how she saved her.

Kurursu (來栖) 來 means 'future' and 栖 means 'nest'. 赤.

Trivia;

- In battle, Akari helps Futaba with her support. (If she becomes a Phantom Thief, I'll tell you then)

- Akari may be a child but she is smart enough to be at the same year as her older sister.

- Akari's appearance, aside from her height, was Akano's old design.

- Akari's favorite anime include Sailor Moon, Fate series, Pokemon, Your Lie in April and many more. (AKA my favorite anime list)

- Akari and Akano both have 'aka' in their name meaning red. This shows that even hearing about them by their first names, you can tell they're sisters.

- Akari was never meant to be in the fanfic until I thought I needed a Temperance confidant person that isn't Kawakami.

- She is 5 years younger than Akano, being 4-6 years apart from the other members.

- Akari is, like her parents, a Christian. However, she's not lenient on the belief as she only prays before bed, go to church with her parents and wears a rosary under her clothes (Akano isn't Christian, she is spiritual)

- Akari reminds Akiro of this little girl he met while on a trip with his father to Inaba. This girl was Nanako.

- Akari ships Akano with Mishima 

- Akari used to take jazz dance classes from the age of 3-7.
. Because of this, Akari is quite flexible and can do the splits pretty easily. Unlike her older sister.
