It started raining today as I went to the shrine. The fox greeted me like usual as I told it I fulfilled the ema request. It cheerfully ran up to the offertory box and nodded.

I spent time with the fox for the rest of the day as I showed it the kumihimo I made for myself. After a while, I head home while Nanako doesn't greet me. I walked up to her as she asked me something... touchy... "Hey, big sis... Why do people die?" I... I didn't expect this question from her, but I do think I can explain it to her easily. I told her about life and death while also telling her it's really complicated. "I see... This is hard... But I get it! Thank you, big sis!" She smiled, "Is there anything else you wanna know?" I asked while she thought for a while. "What happens to a person.. when they die?" Um... there's many different beliefs... oh! There is one I can tell her. "There are many beliefs on that subject but what I believe is that they go to heaven." This was what I believed when I was Nanako's age before I started believing in Shinto. But, heaven is much more simple for a child like her to understand.

"So, it is true. Mommy went to heaven." She smiles happily, "Oh, yeah, I saw this on the news: 'Robbery at the post office.'... Why do bad people do bad things?" Crap, uh... I have to be honest with her about this. "I don't know..." "I see... You're not a bad person, so I guess you wouldn't know." She sighs in relief before drinking her tea that she had next to her. "But if there were no bad people, Dad would be home more... Last year, there weren't many crimes, so Dad was here a lot. He used to pick me up from kindergarten... Are bad people more important to Dad than I am?" Sweetie... "He's protecting you, Nanako. Believe me, he would rather be here with you but he has a duty as your cool dad!" I may not know Dojima much, other than him trying to dig into me for information, but I know for a fact that he does love his daughter. Nanako started thinking, "I don't get it..." I don't blame you, sweetie.

Nanako started to yawn as I told her it's time for bed. I tucked her in and kissed her forehead before leaving her room. I was still wide awake so I worked on Kanji's kumihimo and finished it. I also placed the lightning bolt charm on it before going to bed.

I went back to the shrine as the fox greeted me again with another ema in its mouth. I took it and read it.

'I want to be able to converse better. I don't want to hurt people with the rude things I say when I'm nervous.'

Interesting. I don't think I can find the person right now since it's raining so I just went to Aiya to take the Rainy Day Challenge. I didn't finish it but I made more progress. I swear, when I'm done with this, I'm never touching any meat again... I went back home as Nanako welcomed me back while watching TV.

"And now the weather. The week ended on a wet note as rain clouds moved into the area. As a result, a thick fog is expected to form in the Inaba region later tonight..."

I need to watch the Midnight Channel tonight then. I went to my room and started making another kumihimo, this time for Teddie. I'm not gonna make kumihimos for Rise or Ryuto until they officially join us. For Teddie, I used yellow, white, red and blue with four yellow, four white, two red and two blue. I was in the middle of it when the TV turned on, catching my attention. It was the Midnight Channel... no one was on TV as I sighed in relief. Since we saved Rise, we've thwarted the killer for a third time. I just hope that Rise was the last one, but I have this feeling that this won't be the last time. With that feeling, I went to sleep.

Meanwhile, in the fog-shrouded shopping district...

3rd Person POV

Unlike the other nights, no one was walking in the shopping district. However, that didn't mean something malicious was going on...

The sun rose on the new day as the sun hit an apartment building. After a while, the rays of the sun hit something else. Something that was hanging from the apartment's rooftop railings... a dead body belonging to...

Yui's POV

I was woken up by, not my alarm, but sirens from outside. What's going on? My phone started to ring, it was Chie. I picked it up and asked what's wrong, "D-D-Did you hear yet!? They found a dead body just outside the shopping district! I don't get it! I mean, we... Look, we're all meeting at Junes. Come over right away!" I couldn't believe it... another dead body...? But we saved Rise, didn't we...? I just got changed and quickly did my hair as the idea came to my head to use my kumihimo as something to add more flare to my hair. I used a hair tie I found in the room to tie it back and I tied my kumihimo around the hair tie. I then looked over and saw the hat that Dojima got me. I put it on before leaving the house and making my way to Junes.

At the food court, Chie waved me over as I made my way to them. "Yosuke went over to check out the scene. He should be back soon..." Okay... please say that what Chie told me isn't true... Yosuke came running to the table, stopping to catch his breath. "Yeah, it was murder all right. The body was hanging upside down on an apartment's rooftop railing..." Oh god... "But... how could that...?" "That's not all. The victim this time... It was King Moron." We all stood up at that statement. K-King Moron...? B-But how!? "You mean THAT King Moron!? Senpai's homeroom teacher?" He's the only King Moron we know! Oh god... he may have been a piece of shit, but he doesn't deserve death... "Wh-Why...!? What on earth's going on here!?" I wish I knew too... "How am I supposed to know!? But I talked to a guy there who saw it! It's true... There's no mistake." You've gotta be shitting me... I sat back down trying to process everything that I just heard.

"Gotta be shitting me... Ain't the killer targeting people who get shown on TV? I ain't never seen King Moron on the Midnight Channel, or any other programs!" Why would the killer switch targets...? "Why...? Why did this happen?" "I thought we finally figured some things out... Were they all just a big coincidence...?" ... just a big coincidence...? "Maybe the Midnight Channel doesn't have anything to do with this..." No... no that's wrong! "Dammit! We came so far, and now we're back to square one!? Were we in over our heads, trying to catch a culprit that even the police couldn't find...?" I slammed my hands on the table, "We may have been in over our heads, but the fact the killer was using the TV to kill people is still a fact. It's too early to give up now!?". Kanji patted my back, "Damn straight! We started this thing 'cause the police can't tell their asses from their elbows. We give up now, and that shithead's gonna be on the loose forever. This ain't the time for bitching and moaning... We just gotta keep on keepin' on." Well said.

"Kanji-kun..." Yukiko muttered, "Hmph... Big talk from someone like you, Kanji." What's that supposed to mean, Yosuke? Kanji asked the same thing as Yosuke sighs. "I know... We're dealing with a murderer here. But we've all risked our lives to get this far... No way we'll back down. And we promised the bear, too..." Oh yeah, Teddie! "Hey, that's right! Maybe Teddie knows something about this!" Mhm! "Well, since moping around won't do us any good, let's go see him!" And with that, we all went to the electronics department to see two workers in front of the TV we always go through. Could there be an issue? Wait, no one has bought the TV, right? "Huh? There's staff here?" I know, right? It's weird. How hasn't there been any staff here before today? "Now that's unusual..." Yosuke walked up to them, "Hi there. Did something happen?". "Ah, Yosuke~Kun." "Great timing. Did the manager tell you anything about this? There's been this weird mascot around our department for quite a while now... Is there some kind of campaign on today?" A mascot costume? Wait a second... did he... no, that's not possible... right? "He said his name was... Uh, what was it? Terry? Eddie?" "Well, there are no customers around, so I guess it's fine... I better get back to my station." The two workers left.

Terry? Eddie? It has to be... "Please don't tell me..." Chie turned her head to the right, "Whoa, h-he's here!". We all looked at where Chie was looking at. It was Teddie on a massage chair... how is he here? We all walked up to him, "Aaaaahhh. This really hits the spot.". "Wh-What the...? I mean, how'd you...?" Same here, how? "It took you guys long enough! I've been waiting." Yukiko got worried, "Teddie, are you okay on this side!?" Actually yeah, is he okay here? "How did you even leave your side!?" Another good question. "Of course I can come out. There's an exit. It just never occurred to me to do it before. But spending time with you all sparked my curiosity about this world! I did wonder if it was a good idea, but my feet started moving before I could decide. And when I thought about it, I had nowhere to go, and it was a waste to go back. So I waited here for you. Oh, someone asked for my name. So I told them, 'I'm Teddie.'" Well that explains everything. I'm glad to see him on this side, he's not lonely over there anymore.

"Oh yeah, there's something we need to ask you! How long have you been here, Teddie? Did anyone enter the other world?" Oh yeah, we have to ask him that. "I stayed until the fog settled in on my side, but no one came." So, the TV wasn't used in King Moron's death then. "You're positive? You really didn't sense a single person?" "I just said that I didn't! I was there all by myself, like always. Hmph!" I have to go with the bear on this one. I trust him. Yosuke kept pushing but that just made Teddie mad. "Grrr, aren't you listening!? I was utterly, totally, and 100% alone! That's why I came over here! But I can understand if you don't believe me. My senses aren't that good lately anyways..." I walked up to the bear and rubbed his head, "I believe you, Teddie!". He purred against my hand, "Oh! Mistress's heart is radiating pure kindness...!" Heh, cute. "Well, it's true that the Midnight Channel was blank last night. And even before that... Teddie says he didn't sense anything, right? Does that mean... King Moron was never on that side?" Has to be, without a doubt. "Hmm... What's going on?" Really wished I knew.

"Hey, hey, I wanna go somewhere!" Huh? Now ain't the time, dude... You seriously don't plan on going back, do you? Where do you wanna go, anyway?" Actually, yeah. Where does he wanna go? "I want to give this to Rise-chan. It's for her." He handed me a pair of pink glasses. These will suit her, I know it. "Rise-chan will probably back us up from now on! So I'm gonna fight alongside you with everything I got! Don't think of me as the same cute little Teddie! I'm an all-new model! I have a powerful attack, an unbeatable defense, and a winning smile! Today begins the New Legend of Teddie!" So Teddie is gonna fight with us? Nice! More people fighting with us is great in itself!

"Uh-oh, people are starting to stare... Keep it down, willya Ted!? C'mon, let's go somewhere else!" Yosuke said as we all headed back to the food court. "Okay, just to make sure. I'm gonna ask you one last time. Nobody was over there, except for you, until the fog came back. Correct?" The brunette boy asked the bear as Teddie repeated what he already told us. "He didn't show up on the Midnight Channel either..." "What's up with that?" I wish we knew... "No clue... But I think we can be sure now that King Moron was never thrown into the TV." At least we can agree on that. Then what, he was killed over here? Why not throw him into a TV, like all the rest?" That's something we need to figure out. Maybe... "They never intended to." I spoke out loud, "They never intended to...? So you're saying he wasn't like the other victims to begin with? But why?" I don't know... "Maybe the culprit thought he couldn't kill any more people by throwing them into TVs. I mean, we prevented his last three attempts in a row." That is a possibility. "So they snuffed someone on our side this time to make sure it worked. Dammit... If that's true, then we have no way of preventing more murders unless we catch the killer!". "We need more clues... I wonder if Rise-chan's up and around yet." I haven't gotten a text from Ryuto yet so maybe not. "Yeah... We'll have to put our hopes in her.".

Teddie then sighed, "It's so hot out... I'm taking this off." What? "Wait, you're not talking about your head, are you!? Cut it out! There's kids watching! Geez... They'll be scarred for life if they see an empty mascot walking around. Have a little consideration, man." How is this bear getting hot in that costume? Isn't he the costume itself? "I'm glad you're back to normal, though. Your fur's all fuzzy again!" I'm glad that he's fuzzy again, too. "C-Can I feel it...?" Kanji asked while Teddie rejected, making us all laugh. "Actually, I'm no longer a hollow bear! Mwahaha! I trained and trained, hoping to someday score with Chie~Chan, Yuki~Chan and Mistress... And now I finally have an inside!" Wait, what? "Yeah... good job with that." Didn't you say though one time that you would or were you not thinking? "Come on! Can't we give it a rest with the whole "scoring" thing?" I would like that to drop too, thank you. "Dude, you're hollow. Taking your head off isn't gonna cool you down!" Well unless... no, that's not possible. "But I just told you! I'm not hollow anymore! Agh, it's too hot. I can't stand it...".

The bear then proceeded to unzip his head off as it revealed something unexpected. A boy with blond hair swept to the side and bright blue eyes. He took hold of Yosuke's water bottle and started drinking it. When my brain finally processed what just happened, I started to blush when I realised that this guy is actually really attractive. That's Teddie, right? "Hey, Chie~Chan, Yuki~Chan, Mistress." The three of us were stunned while Chiemade him continue his sentence, "Do you have anything to wear? I'm basically like a newborn at the moment..." A newborn? D-Does he mean...? Oh god, he's naked! If my face wasn't already red, it would be red now. "T-Teddie? Is that really you...?" Chie inquired while Yukiko was still shocked, "Wait, did you say you're like a newborn!? Then don't take the bottom part off! You need some clothes, right? C'mon, let's go look around..." Chie took Teddie to get some clothes while Yukiko and I followed.

In the clothing department, we were in the male section as Chie and Yukiko had problems finding guys' clothes while I tried holding up Teddie's costume. It was... uncomfortable... to say the least when literally two feet away from you is a naked boy. Teddie rushed over to the lingerie section. "Hey, Mistress! Look, it's panties!" He grabbed a pair of panties from the rack and was about to flick it to another side of the female section. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Teddie! That's not what panties are for!" I took the panties from his hands and put it back on the rack as Chie and Yukiko rushed to us. Why couldn't they be here earlier? "Sorry but, we have no idea what Teddie should wear. Yui, do you have an idea? Chie asked as I handed her Teddie's costume to hold up while I went looking for clothes for Teddie. I may not know much of male fashion but I knew the basics at least. Of course I started with getting him a pair of boxers before going to the shirts section. This frilly white button up stuck out to me so it before heading to the pants section to get a pair of black skinny jeans. Lastly, I went to the shoes section and got a pair of loafers and a pair of socks. I handed them to Teddie as he went to the changing rooms.

It took a while but he stepped out to show off how he looks as I blushed a little. He didn't have his shirt buttoned up and when I asked him why it wasn't, he said that he didn't know how. "C'mere then, Teddie." He walked up to me as I buttoned up his shirt, leaving the top two buttons open. With these types of dress shirts, it's best to keep one or two buttons open at the top. "Thank you, Mistress!" He smiled which made me smile. "Y'know, you kinda act like a mom, Yui!"Chie pointed out, "Yeah, it must be your experience with Nanako~Chan!" The girls' words made me blush in embarrassment. Maybe I should start being the mom of the group, it would work. The blond boy's eyes move to this brooch that someone obviously left there. It was a rose pin and he obviously wanted it so I pinned it on the left side of his chest.

The four of us made our way to the checkout as I realised, I didn't bring any cash with me... crap... I told the others that I didn't bring my money as they told me it was okay. "We can just put it on Yosuke's tab! I always do." Chie said, "Wouldn't that be rude? I'm fine with going back home really quickly to get my money." I tried to reason but she insisted on putting it on Yosuke's tab. I'm sorry Yosuke, I'll pay you back when I get the chance. The checkout gave us a price being... 20,500 yen... I should start looking at the tags before I pick things out from now on.

The boys texted us that they were in the shopping district so the four of us went there. Chie spotted them and waved at them, "Sorry we're late..." "How'd it take you that long to find clothes for Ted? Whoa...! I-Is that you, Teddie...?" Yosuke was taken aback by Teddie's new outfit along with Kanji but he stayed quiet. "Oui, monsieur! How do I look?" He knows French too? Impressive. "Uh, how do I respond?" Yosuke was at a loss for words as I giggled, "I got it, partner! C'est magnifique!" I bowed in a very flamboyant way, making everyone laugh. "I don't think we should encourage him much, remember what he almost did in the womans' lingerie section?" Yeah, but I stopped him. And acting like this sometimes is fun. "Well, he can't help it. It's his first time in our world." I agree with Yukiko on this Chie, we can't blame him for acting like this. "Okay then... hey you don't need to get all mopey like that. I never said I won't forgive you!" Oh crap, Teddie was moping? "I'm so glad! I was worried that you didn't like me anymore." Well if he was moping, he isn't now.

The tomboy chuckles, "Man... If you can behave yourself, you'll be pretty cute." Well, he is pretty cute now. "Is he cute...? What do you think, Kanji?" Yosuke... don't go any further than that. "Huh? What're you asking me for?" "Well, I was just wondering if he was your type." Okay, he went there. I was about to slap the back of Yosuke's head but Kanji stopped me, "Ohhh... I get it. What you're really asking is... 'Will you please beat the shit out of me, Kanji?'" I couldn't help but sneak a giggle as I just went with slapping Yosuke on the back of the head. He needs to learn not to say things like that. Not just to Kanji and I, but anyone else who are like me who's sexuality is already determined and people like Kanji who had problems with it and most likely are still dealing with those problems. Yukiko was laughing as Kanji got annoyed by her laughing fit. "You'll have to forgive Yukiko. She's helpless once she gets this way..." Thank god we don't share the same sense of humor. "Oooh, please, everyone! Don't fight over me, baby!" Wait, people were fighting over Teddie? "Shuddup! You picking a fight with me!?" Calm down, Kanji. It's Teddie, just let it go.

Yosuke sighed while pulling out a 1,000 yen bill and giving it to Kanji, "Geez... oh well. Here, Kanji. Get whatever ice cream you want, just share it with Teddie. We're gonna head for the tofu shop. Wait here until we get back." Teddie looked on in amazement, "Wow, you're rich!" Heh, he really can be cute if he wanted to. "I can't just take this from you!" "Think of it as a welcome-back party for Teddie. Just don't go around making a racket." Aww, he cares for Teddie. "Whoa, Yosuke, what's gotten into you? You're acting like a real senpai all of a sudden. Oh, I get it. You might say differently, but you're still nice to Teddie. I'm glad Yosuke's developing into such a mature adult. Someone who doesn't let trifles bother him." Oh god, Chie... just let it down slowly. "What...? You're worrying me, Chie." You should. Chie smirked, "Oh, it's about Teddie's clothes, that's all. We didn't have the money for them, so we charged the rest to you." I said let it down slowly, Chie! "Charge? WHAT!? You put it on my account!? What the hell, Chie!? I never said you could do that! Yui, why didn't you stop her!?" I bowed apologetically at him, "I'm sorry! I didn't bring my money and Chie just said we can charge it to you. I'll pay you back, promise!".

Yosuke was about to say something but Chie spoke up before he could. "Don't apologise, Yui. What else were we supposed to do!? This stuff was expensive, even for Junes!" And how is this his fault? "You seriously charged it to me? Wh-Why would you do that!? You know I've been saving up to buy a motorcycle!" Now I feel even worse... "Oh, that. You don't need one." CHIE! "WHAT!?" I slapped the back of Chie's head. I'm definitely gonna pay back Yosuke when I can. "C'mon baby. Stop fighting over-" Now's not the time, Teddie. "Shuddup! This is your fault, y'know! Grrrrr... You listen here, Ted... You better take really, really, REALLY good care of that. If you put even a single tear in it, I'll make your next set of clothes out of the bear hide you took off!". Kanji walked up to Teddie, "Yo Teddie, don't let it get you down. Let's go get some Topsicles." Good idea. "Let's go on ahead... I think they're going to take a while." Another good idea.

Yukiko and I walked next door to the tofu store next door as a familiar face leaves the store. It was that boy that talked to Kanji that one time. "Ah... I had a feeling you'd come." I beg your pardon? "You're...!" I guess Yukiko realised who he was. "Are you here to ingratiate yourself with Rise Kujikawa now?" We don't need to tell you. Yosuke and Chie most likely stopped arguing because I heard their footsteps. "Geez... Why did the clerk even let them charge it to someone else...? Huh? W-Wait, you're that guy we saw with Kanji...!" And they noticed this guy too. "Precisely. I don't believe we've met since then-In fact, I don't believe I've ever introduced myself. My name is Naoto Shirogane. I'm investigating the multiple murders that have occurred here." He bowed, so this is the guy Dojima and Adachi were talking about when Dojima was drunk. "Mind if I ask you a few questions on the subject? The latest victim, Kinshiro Morooka... He was a teacher at the school you all attend, correct?" My fist clenched upon my chest. He's fishing for information from us.

"S-So what?"Act natural, Chie. "The public is focused on the fact that he is associated with the second victim's school... But in truth, that's irrelevant. What intrigues me is the inconsistency. This Morooka... has never appeared on television." My eyes widen, has he come to the same conclusion as us? "What do you make of that?" He started looking straight at me, as if he was waiting for me to slip. Not gonna lie, having this guy looking at me is nerve-racking. "... how are we supposed to know?" Thank you, Yosuke for saving me! "Well, we'll leave it at that. For my part, I'd like to solve this case as quickly as possible. I'll be keeping an eye on you all. Well then, until we meet again." He turned around and left in the other direction. We have to be extra careful from now on. One wrong move, and he'll catch us. Rise steps out of the store along with Ryuto as they greet us. "Ryuto~Kun! Rise~Chan! Are you okay now...?" Yukiko asks as Rise nods. Ryuto glances over at me but looks away. Guess he's still upset about what happened a few days ago.

"Are you all here to check up on me?" The pigtailed girl questions as a small smile grows on her face, "Well, yeah..." and Yosuke answers. Something popped into Rise's head, "Oh, um... Do you guys have a moment? There's something I want to tell you. Follow me. Our grandma's taking care of the shop today." As she goes to walk to the shrine and we follow. We all bowed as the fox jumped down to greet us, mainly me. "Sorry, I wanted to say this without grandma overhearing. I remember being at my house... when I came to, though, I was already in that other world." So no new information. Dang it. "Still no real information on the killer..." Mhm, but we can't blame her for not knowing. It's mainly our fault for chasing after that perv instead of staying with Rise.

"We met this weird kid named Naoto a second ago..." Yosuke brought up, "Oh... He's come to the shop several times. He asked Rise a lot about the incident." Ryuto says. "I didn't tell him anything about the other world, though. I figured it'd be a waste of time. Actually, he asked me about you guys too, but I just made up some stuff. Like, 'They found me unconscious on the roof at Junes.'" As Rise finishes the statement. Well, it's not technically a lie. "Um... So..." The younger girl caught our attention, even her brother. "Hm...? What's up?" "Um... I-I really appreciate what you did for me... Thank you soooo much! I love you guys!" Now this is the Rise I know, cheerful everytime you see her. "Huh...? Awww, you don't have to thank us!" I agree, "Dude... She's so cute... Man, it's finally hitting me that you're the real deal. You really are Risette." Ryuto gave Yosuke a death glare as Yosuke held back. I don't think I need to slap the back of his head this time, heh.

"Well, I know I sounded gloomy and all from stress , so... I-I thought you might not like me that way... Do I... sound weird? Oh, but I guess it sounds more 'natural' this way to the public... I'm sorry... I've practically lost touch with what the normal me is like." Aww, Rise! "Haha, no need to apologize. Just do what comes naturally." "I think everyone has multiple sides to them. You don't have to force yourself to decide on just one." I love all this welcoming energy the girls are giving off, knowing my friends love my friends too makes me happy. Rise giggled, "Thanks. I'm glad you're the first people I got to know here. I can see why Yui hangs out with you guys now!" I really did miss this Rise, she's a ray of sunshine that contrasts with Ryuto's slightly cold yet caring attitude. "Oh yeah, we almost forgot your present. The Teddie Glasses. Um, you don't have to take them, but... Well..." Oh yeah, Rise's glasses. And we also haven't officially asked them if they wanted to join us.

"Senpai... Would you be struggling without my help? I can help you in that world, right? With my power... So wouldn't it be better if I joined the team?" Did she just call me 'Senpai'? I get that she's younger than me but she never called me 'Senpai' before. I looked over at Ryuto, "What about you? You barely spoke much since we got here. You wanna join our squad with Rise?" He nodded. "This person kidnapped my sister with plans of killing her, of course I wanna stop this bastard. That's only if you take me on the team, Yui." I smiled at both of them as I handed Rise her glasses. "Welcome aboard, Rise~Tan and Ryu~Chan!" I used their nicknames when we were younger as they both smiled. Well, Rise clung onto my arm, making me blush. "Ryu told me what these glasses do, I'm so glad to have a pair now!" With the twins in our group now, I feel our group getting bigger and I love it!

"Oh yeah! I'll be going to Yasogami High, starting tomorrow. But I don't have any friends yet, so don't ignore me, alright? I do owe you my life, so... you know..." I patted her head as her grip on my arm tightened. "This sure is a rough time to transfer here, though. The kidnappings, King Moron's death... All that, and exams are soon, too. Sigh, exams... Now I'm depressing myself. I wonder if there's any chance they'll be cancelled..." Doubt it because they'll wanna respect King Moron and by doing that, they have to torture us with exams. "I doubt it. They always hold exams, rain or shine..." Mhm. Rise chuckled, "I almost got killed by those monsters. Compared to that, exams are nothing." That's... actually a good point. "I've studied a lot so I have no problem with exams." Ryuto boasted, making me laugh. He's never been the sharpest tool in the shed but he was more academic than Rise.

Rise adjusts her position to where she's hugging my side, "Uh... When did you get so chipper?" Funny story, Kanji. She's always been like this! "Do you go to Yasogami, like Senpai? I'll be starting school there tomorrow, so I hope we get along too." Yeah... I can see Rise and Kanji not really getting along knowing how stubborn they can be. "Huh? Oh... cool. Uhh... What grade are you in?" "She's in the same grade as us, tough guy. Though I am a little upset that she's not in our class." Wait, Kanji and Ryuto are in the same class? Wow, didn't expect the two of them to be in the same class. "So where's Teddie?" Yosuke asked. Oh shit, yeah. Where is the bear?

"He's over there, finishing up his fifth Topsicle. What are we gonna do with him?" Hmmm... "I wouldn't mind having him stay with me but we don't have enough rooms and I don't think Dojima would agree to having a boy he doesn't know stay at his place with his daughter and niece." I sighed as I looked over at the boy in question. With his childish nature, he could be a good playmate for Nanako. "Well... I guess I'll take him home..." I hope his parents are fine with that. We splitted up, Yosuke taking Teddie to his place while the rest of us went back to our own houses. Nanako welcomed me while watching the news.

"Good evening, this is Niteline News. Our top story for the night concerns the latest developments in an ongoing story... The serial murder case in Inaba has claimed a third victim. The news shocked local residents, who have not seen another murder in three months, and assumed the spree had reached its end. The deceased taught at a local high school. Since his body was found arranged in a similar manner as the last two victims..."

They showed King Moron's face, basically confirming that it was him that was murdered. Even though I didn't like him one bit, I can't help but feel bad for him that he died. "What's wrong? Was it someone you know? ...He died?" Nanako... "I'm here with you, okay? Nothing's gonna happen to you when I'm here, got it?" I reassured her as she smiled with a pink tinted face. "I'm all right..." That's good.

"This marks the second consecutive death, after Ms. Saki Konishi's, where the target was involved with Yasogami High. Mr. Morooka was known for his strict teaching methods, and is said to have had constant friction with his students. The police will be pursuing this line of inquiry, and are planning to begin a large-scale investigation tomorrow. We now turn to our reporter at the scene for more details..."

He was more than strict, he was an- no. I will not make fun of the dead. King Moron is the exception though. "Dad won't be coming home again today..." Hmmm... aha! I got Nanako's attention as I did that dumb magic trick every kid has done at least once. I moved a finger from my right hand... to my left hand! "Huh!? Do it again, do it again!" Wow, entertaining six year olds is easy. I then did the opposite hand by moving a finger from my left hand... to my right hand! "It moved! Hey, how did you do that? Tell me, tell me!" I don't wanna ruin this girl's imagination, I told her it's the magician's secret.

I went to bed after putting Nanako to sleep as I woke up in the Velvet Room. Crap, I haven't been here in ages. "Welcome. It's been quite some time... Do not be alarmed. You are fast asleep in the real world... I have summoned you within your dreams. How are things proceeding...? Are you gradually drawing nearer to a solution to the mystery...?" Well, I believe I am. I told him that, "Excellent.". Margaret opened her book, "The season has changed, but your future is not yet closed. In time, a path will open to you." Meaning we're nowhere near the end of this case, right? "Our true reason for calling you here tonight is to provide a new form of assistance to help you achieve just that. Fusing Personas... Have you been using our services diligently? The aid we will henceforth provide is an advanced form of fusion... I speak of the power to fuse four or more Personas at once. I am quite certain that this will enable you to command even stronger powers..." So I can fuse more than three now? Interesting. "Now... your journey will soon reach its climax... And as a result, many challenges-which I cannot foresee at present-await you. Most interesting... Well, until we meet again... Farewell.".
