Hey guys! Sorry for the wait and this being a short chapter, I wanted Nanako's social link to have a chapter to itself which is why this is Part 1. Part 2 is coming soon though along with the Fox social link! Anyway, here's the chapter!

The moment I woke up, I immediately went downstairs in my pajamas. Nanako was watching TV so I decided to make the two of us breakfast. I made a stack of pancakes along with some bacon and a pot of tea. The sweet smell of the fluffy pancakes mixed with the savory smell of the bacon was delightful. "Nanako, breakfast is ready!" I placed the trays of food on the small table and the two of us started eating. "How is it Nanako?" I asked, "It's really good, thank you for the food!" as she happily ate the food. She might be happy now, but I know she's still upset that her father isn't here. If only there was a way I could help her and her father out...

*DING DONG*

Huh? The doorbell? I excused myself before making my way to the door and opening it. It was Chie! "Oh, cool, you're home. Hey, if you're free today, wanna go somewhere? Yukiko's coming, too." Oh... "Sorry Chie, but I promised my uncle I would watch my cousin Nanako..." I bowed apologetically which made Chie sigh. I think she saw Nanako since I heard her sound curious. "Hey, how about you bring Nanako~Chan with you? I'm sure no one would mind. So what do you say Nanako~Chan, wanna come along?" Huh? I turn around to see Nanako right behind me. "What about it Nanako? You wanna come along?" I smiled at the small girl while she shyly nodded. "Well then that's sorted! Do you mind if we wait a while? I wanna get out of my pajamas before I go anywhere... in the meantime, Chie, wanna have some pancakes and bacon?" I invite her in before I go upstairs to change out of my pajamas.

~Time Skip~

With a case of takoyaki, I happily ate while sitting with Nanako, Chie, Amagi and now Yosuke who came over for a break. "Why'd you bring poor Nanako~Chan to a place like this on Golden Week?" Hmm? Oh he was talking to Chie. Well personally this is one of the best places to take her honestly, "Where else is there to go?" now that's also true. "I love Junes!" Indeed she does! "N-Nanako~Chan...!" Guess that's the first time he heard someone say that they love Junes. "But we were supposed to go on a real trip somewhere. We were going to make boxed lunches..." "Wow! You can make boxed lunches, Nanako~chan?" Nanako shook her head at Amagi and looked over to me. "Oh yeah, I was going to make some boxed lunches, nothing too much for me to do." I reply while continuing to stuff my face with takoyaki.

"Oh, so, you're the family cook? Pretty impressive, 'Big Sis'!" Chie chuckled while trying not to chuckle myself so I don't choke on the takoyaki. "Big... sis..." The tiny girl mumbled, "Whoa, you can cook? Well, you do seem to be great with your hands-Um, never mind." I'm just going to ignore that. "I-I'm a pretty good cook too, you know... Probably. If you'd asked, I would've whipped up some boxed lunches as easy as pie. Yeah..." Huh? Chie can cook? "Uhh, lemme think about-No." Okay I think that answered my question, "What makes you think I can't cook!? Let's have a cook-off and see for ourselves!" that actually sounds fun! Also finally, my face isn't stuffed anymore. "My, my, doth the lady protest too much? And hey, I never said I cooked. But I have this weird feeling... Like I'd win anyway..." "Ahaha, I can understand that." Amagi and I said at the same time which made us both giggle. "What the- Yukiko!? Yui, too!?" Heh, I kinda feel bad, but also not really.

"Here, Nanako~chan can be our judge. I bet we'll make something that ranks up there with your mom's cooking, Nanako~chan!" I kicked Yosuke under the table and glared at him to indicate this was a sore subject. "I don't have a mom. She died in an accident." Nanako... "Hey, Yosuke..." the atmosphere lost all the energy that was there, it became sorta dark. "I-I see... um... sorry, I didn't know..." Yosuke... "It's okay. Even if I don't have a mom, I have Dad with me... and now I have a sister, too. And I'm having a lot of fun today! I love Junes!" Did- did she just call me... a sister...? Nanako... she was able to lighten the mood again for the group, she really is an amazing kid... "Y-Yeah? That's good.", "We'll play with you anytime you want, Nanako-chan!", "Yeah, we should hang out more often." Heh, glad to see everyone like this with Nanako. "C'mon, Nanako-chan. Let's go get a soda!" Yosuke offered to Nanako as she happily accepts and the two go to get a soda. "She's a strong girl..." She sure is... "Yeah. She makes me feel like I'm the little kid here. That's it, I'm gonna go get something for Nanako-chan too!" And like that, both Amagi and Chie followed Yosuke and Nanako. After finishing my takoyaki, I went to throw away my trash. "Big sis!" Huh? Oh, Nanako. Looks like I need to get used to her calling me that. Not that I mind though, "Do you want something too?" She gives me a carefree smile as it melts my heart.

I feel a faint bond forming between myself and Nanako...

So I now have a social link with Nanako? Yay!

"C'mon let's go!" And like that, Nanako took my hand as we ran back to the others. Today was filled with nothing but fun.
