Hey guys! Sorry for the late upload, I wanted to include a lot into this chapter and I hope you guys like it!

I wake up to the sound of my phone going off. It wasn't my alarm, I don't set it on Sundays. Picking up my phone, drowsily, I see Chie's name so I pick it up. "Morning Chie, what's up?" I got up and stretched a bit and opened up the curtains to wake me up a bit. "Morning, you wanna go into the TV today? Now that Yukiko's with us, I think it might be good for her to get some experience being in that place." Hmmm... I don't have anything planned so, "Sure! Can you call up the others to meet at Junes? I need to get changed," With a 'Yup!' from the other side of the call, we exchanged goodbyes and hung up. Taking a quick shower, I changed into my normal clothes and said goodbye to Nanako before leaving.

~Timeskip~

Entering the TV, Teddie tells us that there's a strong presence on the top floor of Yukiko's castle. He thinks it's due to the fact many people are going in and out to the TV and that it's not linked to the culprit, but highly insinuate that we get rid of it. Yeah, a strong enemy at the top of Yukiko's castle? I don't think we're strong enough to handle it. Wait, wasn't the shopping district in here too? We've explored all of Yukiko's castle, what about that place? "Teddie, could you take us to the shopping district?" I ask him politely as he nods frantically and leads us to the shopping district. "Okay guys, we're only here to investigate, maybe Konishi~San left something here before she..." I held myself back from saying it because I looked over at Yosuke and his face looked tense. "It's okay, Yui. I'm fine." Yosuke... "You don't have to look around if you're uncomfortable, Yosuke. You can stay out here with Teddie!" I blurt out without thinking as he just sighs and agrees. The others were quiet, just watching what just happened. Ugh! Stupid, stupid, stupid, Yui!

We approached the liquor store as Chie, Amagi and I walked in while Yosuke and Teddie stayed outside. I shouldn't have said that, I'm such a moron! "Yui?" Chie places her hand on my shoulder as she leads me to the corner of the liquor store with Amagi. "Can you tell us why you and Yosuke had... whatever that was out there? Other than the fact that this is Saki~San's family liquor place?" She asked quietly but I just looked down. Should I tell them? I kinda don't wanna tell them without Yosuke's permission... I just said nothing and started looking for clues. I'm so sorry Chie, Amagi...

I looked around in silence for anything for a while as something caught my eye, two medium sized spanners.

"My other self..."

Izanagi? What's up?

"Those aren't ordinary spanners... I feel high energy coming from those... you should take them..."

O-Okay then... I took the two spanners and I felt that high energy Izanagi was talking about. Maybe this could be useful for us later on.

Meanwhile...

Yosuke's POV

Shit... I made her feel bad... I know she didn't mean to do any harm, I'm being selfish by acting like this... "Yosuke, you okay?" Teddie pets my head to get my attention. "What is it, bear?", "What happened between you and Mistress?" Teddie asks while I just sigh. "I'm being selfish...", "Shouldn't you apologise to Mistress then?" I know, I should Ted. But how to approach this...

Yui's POV

After a while of looking and finding nothing but the twin spanners, we left the liquor store. "Mistress! Chie~Chan! Yuki~Chan!" Teddie exclaims while running towards us and giving the three of us a giant bear hug. I looked over and saw Yosuke looking at us with a guilty expression on his face so I walked up to him. "Yosuke... I'm sorry! I should've asked you if you wanted to come here but I didn't and made you feel uncomfortable! I should've been more considerate of your feelings... please forgive me!" Taking a deep bow with a few tears falling from my eyes, I apologised from the bottom of my heart. Eventually, a hand was placed on my head. I looked up to see Yosuke smiling now. It was like a breath of fresh air. "I'm not mad, Yui. I knew you meant well, I knew you just wanted to see if there were any clues here that we missed. I should've placed my feelings aside for the case, I shouldn't have made you feel bad for doing the logical things. I'm sorry, partner."

I wiped my tears as I charged him with a hug. It took him by surprise but eventually he hugged back. Behind us we could hear cheering from the others which made us break our hug. My face turned pink and so did he until I started to speak again, "Well, that's enough of... whatever that was. Let's go to Amagi's castle for experience. Amagi, are you okay with it?" She nodded so we made our way to her castle. In the castle, we climbed from the bottom of the castle to the top floor, fighting shadows left and right. We didn't fight the strong enemy in the throne room since the way Teddie was phrasing it, it's going to beat us with no problem whatsoever. And with that, we all went home.

The rain was pouring this morning, however the weather forecast said it wouldn't last the entire day. I bumped into Amagi and we talked about the weather and other random stuff. "Um, Golden Week starts tomorrow, right? Do you have any plans?" I nodded and told her I have a family outing on the 4th and the 5th. "I-I see. That must be tough.But, at least it looks like we're going to have clear skies all week. It'd be nice if it could stay peaceful like this, but the mystery hasn't been solved yet. Perhaps we should visit "over there" once in a while so we can become stronger." I agree, we must stay vigilant.

~Time Skip~

"I'm hearing a lot of chatter about Golden Week, but don't forget that first and foremost, you're students! Your duty is to study! You don't have time to fool around, alright!? Especially the girls! Those skirts are too damn short! Are you that desperate for attention, or what? You girls are giving the school a bad reputation! Try being modest for a change! And for the guys, remember, the "greatest virtue" is attainable by those who suppress their worthless desires! I don't think Descartes was entirely right, but I'm sure the idea of "virtue' is completely lost on you dumbasses! Next order of business! Midterms are coming up next week! The results will be posted to humiliate the low-scoring losers! If you don't want to be shamed, study hard! It's that simple! If you do well, who knows!? You may become a more popular cretin! And you know, popularity leads to intimacy! On top of that, my reputation goes up. It's a win-win situation, people! Like I said, study hard!" Oh god, I hate this guy even more like shut the hell up! Also, why are you paying attention to our skirts, you perv!

~Time Skip~

Finally school is over... it's still raining though, I don't think the others would want to hang out in the rain. Maybe I should go on a little wonder with myself, haven't done that yet. The light drizzle of the rain on my umbrella was somewhat calming in a weird way. The sound of the rain drops hitting the puddles, concrete and grass were things I was only paying attention to. The different sounds rain makes when it hits something oddly enchanting, I'm surprised not many people use the rain for a song melody. I don't know how but I ended up in the Samegawa Flood Plain near the river. Small fish were swimming beautifully in the water. "Excuse me young lady?" I turn around to see an old man standing with a fishing case and a small fishing rod.

"You know, the Samegawa actually has a whole buncha different fish livin' in it. When I was younger, I used to spend more time haulin' fish in than I did sittin' with my hook in the water, but now... you interested in fishin', girl?" I haven't tried fishing, guess I could learn how. I nodded at the old man, "Ho ho! I'll lend you some of my fishin' gear, then. Let me tell you, fishin' is hard work. What you need is Diligence. You can still fish without Diligence, o'course, but you'll get pretty darn tired of it quick... oh, well. Here's a Fishing Set. I'll give you ten of these here baits, too. Fishin' in the day is fun, but night fishin'... That's just stylish. Do you want to hear some of my advice about fishin'? Hm?" um, sure! I nodded again, "First, you toss in the float. If there's a fish around, he'll take a poke at it. If you rush it and pull your line up too fast, the fish'll get away. Well, you'll still have bait, so try again. Listen, you want to start pulling right after the float sinks. When it bites, reel it in by pulling continuously! If you don't keep pulling, it'll get away, and you'll lose your bait. Suck it up and pull as hard as you can! If you lack Diligence, you'll probably want to go home after just one try. A tough guy like me can fish five times! Oh, and your chances of landin' a real whopper are better on rainy days! Do whatever you want with the fish you catch. If you don't particularly want 'em, I'll trade good stuff for 'em. Good luck, girl." Okay, I think I get it!

*RING* *RING*

Huh, who's calling me? Oh it's Yosuke! I answer, "Hey Yosuke, what's up?" "Yui can you please, please, PLEASE! Help me with studying for the midterms!". Study for the midterms? "Sure! Let me just head back to the school. Meet me in the library, 'kay?" I hung up and walked back into the school and went up the stairs to the library where I saw Yosuke reading a textbook. He doesn't seem to notice me though, hehehe, I'm gonna scare him! Silently, I crept up on him with light footsteps. When I got behind him, I wrapped my arms around him and covered his eyes. He jumped in his seat and started asking a lot of questions. "Who's covering my eyes? Why cover my eyes? What is this? Wait, Yui, is this you?" I chuckled and uncovered his eyes for him to turn around to see me laughing away. "Geez, Yui... I asked you to help me study, not scare me. Hahah" Sooner or later, he joined me laughing.

A while later, we both gained our composer and I started to help him with studying. We went over the material we learnt in class that he had trouble with and doing so led me to gain more of an understanding for them. Oh, now I get it. I wasn't supposed to just memorize the formulas... this'll really boost my score on the next exam. Thanks, man!". I was actually able to get more studying done by teaming up with Yosuke. Once we were done, Yosuke walked me home. Before he could leave though, I gave him a light peck on the cheek with a small smirk. Hehehe, he's so adorable when I mess with him like this, I should do it more often!

~Time Skip~

Nanako and I finished eating dinner and were watching TV before we went to sleep.

"An Inaba Credit Union ATM to the north of the town was destroyed today by an earth mover, and all the cash inside was stolen. The vehicle, which was abandoned at the scene, had been reported stolen by a local contractor. Since the culprit was able to act quickly before the security guards arrived on the scene, the police have..."

Things seem to be getting hectic for Dojima and the other police officers. I look over at Nanako who has been silent for a while. "... dad's late..." Poor thing... just then, the home phone began to ring and Nanako ran up to answer it. "Hello, Dad? Yeah I'm okay... yeah... yeah... okay... alright." She walked up to me and handed me the phone, "He said to give you the phone..." I take the phone as she walks towards the stairs, "He can't take those days off." wait, what? And with that, she ran up the stairs while lightly sobbing. I put the phone to my ear, "Moshi moshi?" "Hello? Sorry, but I'm gonna be late tonight. Make sure you lock up before you go to sleep. And about that time off on the 4th and 5th... one of the younger guys got sick... and, well, that case he's handling, we can't just let it sit... looks like I'm the only one who can take over for him." Oh... guess it can't be helped, can it? "That's just how it goes, huh? Poor Nanako though, she was really excited about the trip..." And poor Dojima and me too. I was actually looking forward to this and I'm sure he was too. "Sorry to spring this on you all of a sudden...u m... How's Nanako holding up? Would you mind comforting her for me? ...thanks. All right then, see you." and with that, he hung up. Okay, I need to ring up Shuya, tell him I can't have him over with Nanako like this. "Hello Shuya?" I called him and he answered, "Yes?" "I hate to say this but I have to cancel tomorrow. My cousin isn't doing well and I just want to be with her, is that okay with you?" After a while of silence, "Sure, my girlfriend wanted to hangout with me tomorrow too so this is perfect. Is that all?" I said yes and hung up before I went upstairs to calm Nanako down and tuck her in.

Now this was the chapter I just wanted to get right. I'm proud of it, I hope you all like it! (especially since there is a some YuiXYosuke fluff in this chapter hehehe) Still don't know which one Yui would end up with but I guess it's something we can all experience at the same time lel.
