Asgard is Cool, Dude!
Thor flew in through the doors, landing in front of Zeus' throne. "Lord Zeus." He inclined his head. "Lords and Ladies of the Council, I seek for your help. My father Odin is in his Odinsleep, unable to help, and my brother dead, as the Aether is set loose on Asgard. We do not know who is controlling it, nor how they found it. My mortal warriors cannot fight it, and only two of us (Me and my mother, Frigga) are still in fighting condition. The rest to the Gods have been weakened from constant battle, and cannot fight much longer."
Zeus spoke,"The Ancient Laws forbid all of us except for one from helping, as you are from a different pantheon and thus not a part of our domains. Perseus, you are the only one capable to help. Will you go?" I agreed, desperately wanting to put my new powers to good use helping heroes.
"Well then, Perseus, you may leave." I got off my throne, and joined Thor.
"Shall we?" I asked, before teleporting the two of us to Asgard.
"Huh, you really need help." I told him, when i saw the state of the tealm. The entire sky was dark red in colour, and seemed to be bleeding. Wherever the drops of red liquid fell, the ground cracked and burned. I could see a woman and three warriors in armour fighting a 15 feet tall figure who was the same colour as the sky.
"The Aether?" I asked Thor. He nodded. I looked at the drops of red liquid all around us, and had an idea. "Stand back." I warned him, before concentrating and making a grabbing gesture with my hands. All the red liquid pooled together in a large puddle that slowly solidified. I quickly shaped it into a sword, before coating Thor's hammer in the same substance, turning it into a spiked mace. I then drew Riptide, and charged at the Aether, Thor right beside me.
The aura of power radiating around the Aether was very strong, and it turned around when we approached, firing blasts of the same red substance that was everywhere. Deflecting them off my new sword, I threw Riptide straight at it with all of my Godly strength.
My aim was true, and the sword landed in it's chest, sinking inside the Aether up to the hilt. Thor flew in, using his new mace to blast lightning at it. He then whacked Aether upside the head, and the being stumbled. I gave the red sword to the woman, and the three of us together attacked the Aether. Thor blasting it with lightning, Frigga attacked with some divine energy and the new sword, and I was controlling the weird red liquid swirling around the being, causing it to slowly harden and solidify into a cocoon, trapping the Aether.
After a long, exhausting process, the Aether had solidified into a large rock. All of a sudden, there was a large CRACK! And in the Aether's place lay a small blood-red stone that could fit easily in my palm. Frigga murmured, "The reality stone." She ordered the three warriors to take it to Odin's vault, wherever that was. As they moved in with a wierd tube-like thing to take the stone, it started humming loudly and flew through the air, and fixed itself to Riptide which was in my hand.
I dropped the sword as it glowed red hot, and the stone automatically fused to the hilt. One final flash of light later, Riptide flew back into my hand, complete with the Reality Stone.
Thor, Frigga and the three warriors gaped at me. Frigga looked closely at the sword, and then at my face. "Black hair, green eyes, Bronze sword, water powers, Perseus Jackson? Son of Poseidon?" She asked. I gave them my signature smirk. "The one and only." I answered.
Thor started squealing like a little girl. "Thank Odin! I finally meet the legend!" Just then, we heard a loud voice. "Welcome to Asgard, Perseus. You have my eternal thanks for helping us." It was a tall, buff dude with long silver hair and an eye patch, flying down to us. "Lord Odin, pleasure to be here." I told him.
He looked at Riptide and chuckled. "The Reality Stone has seemed to have pledged loyalty to you, it is yours to keep demigod... Or is it God now? Your aura is much stronger, Perseus." He asked, his eye twinkling. "God, Lord Odin. The thirteenth Olympian." I said, grinning at Thor's awestruck expression. "Let us have feast celebrating the victory over the Aether and to welcome Perseus to Asgard!' Odin declared.
******* Time Skip to the Feast *******
I sat beside a fangirling Thor at the feast, laughing and exchanging stories. I seemed to be a legend to the Asgardians. Just then, I remembered something. "Thor, do you know a Norse demigod called Magnus Chase? He's Annabeth's cousin. I had to talk to him." I was feeling guilty, knowing that Magnus did not know of Annabeth's death.
"Yes, I do. Magnus Chase, Son of Frey. I forgot to ask. How is the Lady Annabeth? The war..." At this, he cut off abruptly, seeing my eyes fill with tears. "She's gone, Thor. Gaea killed her." He looked shocked, apparently they hadn't heard how exactly the Giant War had ended. I told him the entire story, and he looked at me with pity. ( A/N : I changed the timeline a bit, the events of Magnus Chase and the Ship of the Dead have already occurred, but the Trials of Apollo storyline will not come in play here.)
"Does Magnus know?" he asked. I shook my head. He offered to accompany me to Hotel Valhalla to meet Magnus, and tell him, and I accepted.
He flew me to Valhalla the next day, just after dinner ended. Thor lead me to Helgi, the manager and asked him to take me wherever I wished. Helgi looked at me after Thor left. "Alive?" he asked, turning up his nose as if I was stinking. I smirked and answered, "Immortal."
He sputtered and bowed, begging for forgiveness. When I told him that I needed to see Magnus Chase, Son of Frey, he whistled to a bellhop. Hunding, the bellhop led me to floor nineteen, and then to a door labelled 'Magnus Chase' in runes and in English.
I knocked. The door opened immediately. "P-p-Percy?" Magnus stammered in shock. "How're you here? Come in." He led me inside, and we settled on a sofa. The door opened again, and Alex came sauntering in. "Hey Fishboy. Hunding told me you came with Thor? What's going on in your Greek world?" I managed to tell them the same story that I had told Thor earlier.
Magnus started crying, and that was enough to set me off too. "She was the only family I had left. I can't lose her too." He sobbed. I got up and sat next to him, giving him a bro-hug. "I know, dude. I feel like a part of me has just vanished into thin air. She was the love of my life, Magnus. I-" my voice cracked, "I was going to propose at the end of the battle." I admitted, making Mag nu a stare in shock.
Alex too joined in the group hug, comforting the two of us blubbering messes. "Now that you've told us, Percy, its time to move on. Fulfill the promise you made to her. Go on, do your duty. I'll take care of crying Blondie here. You, on the other hand, have got heroes to help."
Shakily, I stood up and said goodbye, giving Magnus a last hug, before flashing to Odin's palace. A servant showed me to a room, where I instantly crashed. The energy I had expended in the fight with Aether was catching up to me.
The next morning, I joined Thor and Frigga at the table for breakfast. Just as I was leaving, a soldier ran up. "Lady Frigga! Lord Thor! Lord Percy!" (I'd finally convinced all of them to stop calling me Perseus, but they stubbornly insisted on the 'Lord' bit.)
"Loki is alive! He has stolen the Tesseract, and is killing a large number of Midgardians. Heimdall and Lord Odin wish for you, Lord Thor to bring him back here before he causes much more damage."
I was filled with rage at this. How dare he attack the defenseless mortals? Thor got up to go, his hammer flying into his hand, and I said, "I'm coming too. That's my planet he's attacking. Goodbye Lady Frigga, give my regards to Lord Odin." I teleported the two of us to the Bifrost, from where Heimdall sent us to Earth.
