Chapter Fifteen

It had been a very awkward week in the underwater palace of Poseidon. Poseidon kept asking if anyone else had anything to tell him. Apparently he was now paranoid that everyone was keeping secrets.

First it was Percy who had been Hyacinthus in a past life. Also he'd been having nightmares of Tartarus and Kronos everytime he closed his eyes. He'd hidden it from everyone because he didn't want to bother anyone. The only person that had know was Apollo and that was because they had slept together. Scandalous. Simply scandalous. It was only right to tell the father (that cared since Zeus obviously didn't) when they decided to make it official. Which obviously Percy and Apollo had.

Second it was Triton and his death god boyfriend that he'd been hiding for nearly four centuries. This was even worse than the Perseus and Apollo situation. A secret, for four centuries. An absolute disgrace. Poseidon had raised Triton better than that.

Third, Kymopoleia had demigod children. Three of them! And did she tell Poseidon, nope!

So sue Poseidon if you think he's overreacting. Next thing thats happening will be that Anteros has been having a threesome with Eros and Psyche. Actually knowing how the love gods are he wouldn't be surprised about that one.

Poseidon had a headache, a bad one. He really didn't understand why he had wanted kids. They are nightmares! Especially godly ones, they are the worst. They grow up too quick then they're stuck as brats for the rest of eternity. Or just regular disasters.

Somehow all of Poseidon's children fall under the disaster category.

Zeus' ones on the other hand are mostly brats. A true reflection of who their father is.

"Hey Dad can I-" Percy started.

"No."

"You don't even know what I was going to ask!" Percy complained. "I thought you wanted to know everything."

"Alright what is it? Also don't say I want to know everything it makes me sound like Athena."

"Can I go with Kym and Tri to get ice cream?"

"Fine."

Percy smiled, his eyes going bright yellow. "Thanks Dad you're the best!"

"I know I am, wait Perseus, can I ask you something?" Poseidon started.

Percy went through the five stages of grief before his eyes in a second.

"Oh ok, sure sure sure. Go ahead."

"Have you figured out what the eye colours mean?"

"No, can I ask Apollo?"

Poseidon looked down at Percy, hoping that the sheer force of his stare would deter his son from visiting the sun god.

Percy stared right back. A neutral expression on his face. His eyes returned to their old sea green.

Poseidon caved. The worst thing about his disaster children was that he couldn't say no to them. Not if he looked them in the eye. Or even looked at them at all.

Poseidon sighed, "You can go over to your boyfriends tonight."

Percy smiled and the room brightened slightly. The green haze that had been tainting the water disappeared.

Poseidon narrowed his eyes at his youngest son, "Were you using your control over loyalty to get me to let you go?"

At least Percy had the decency to look sheepish, "Maybe."

"I'm proud of you son, you have gotten better at controling your domains," Poseidon said with a smile.

"Bye Dad." Percy waved before he swam out of the room. Tackling someone just outside the door.

"So what'd he say?" whispered the distinctive voice of Triton.

"We're allowed to go," Percy replied, also whispering.

There was a low whistle. "By Hecate's sparkle juice, you're a wizard bubbles," Kym whispered as well. Their voices were further away.

"I'm a what?" Percy said in a bad imitation of a british accent.

Triton laughed while Kym asked them both to stop with the references. It was obvious that she wasn't getting anywhere in her mission to stop the references. Especially obvious since Percy and Triton both yelled 'NEVER' at the top of their lungs.

Poseidon sighed and slumped back down in his throne. He couldn't wait for tonight to actually have some peace and quiet.

Percy would be at Apollo's doing Pontus knows what. Triton would probably seek out for his date with Thanatos (Posiedon had overheard them arranging it). Kym would probably terrorise some cargo ships.

Finally some peace, if something was going to ruin it then it can just piss off.

Nico stood on the table, "ALRIGHT EVERYONE SHUT UP FOR THE LOVE OF APOLLO'S SHINING DI-"

"Let me stop you right there," Apollo said appearing in the council room in the big house at camp half blood.

Clarisse grinned, "Well who would have known, the best way to get Apollo is to mention his d-"

She was cut off by the sound of Clovis' head hitting the table.

Clovis sat up straight, "I didn't fall asleep."

"Go back to sleep Clovis," several voices said at once.

"Ok." Clovis' head landed on the table again.

Nico glared at Apollo, "What in Hermes' broken shoes happened to Percy? What was the green smoke? And how on Thanatos' fallen Feathers did that storm happen?"

Will groaned, "Neeks I think you might want to do one question at a time."

Apollo raised an eyebrow at the son of Hades, "And you should stop with the cursing."

"I DO WHAT I WANT SPARKLES SHOES, now I want answers. What happened to my brother?" Nico said, poison dripping from his voice.

Apollo sighed and sat down in a chair he summoned, "This is going to be fun."

"Apollo wha-"

"I'll explain now just hold on for a second. Right so Percy got turned into a god-" Apollo started.

There was an instant uproar.

"WHAT?!"

"HOW?!"

"THATS FU-"

"Love, stop cursing."

"Fine, WELL ANYWAY THATS AWESOME!"

"Clarisse."

"What it is! What's he the god of?"

"Natural disasters and loyalty," Apollo answered.

"AWESOME!"

"Clarisse," Chris said again. Hoping to calm down his fiancé.

Clarisse shot him a wild grin, "It is! Prissy's a god. Wait I'm seeing how that's a bad thing now. How the fu-"

"Love, please stop cursing. Nico's here."

"Nico curses more than me and you know it. So how the Hades-" Clarisse started.

"Hey!"

"Sorry, how did Percy get turned into a god?"

Apollo froze, trying to think up of an excuse so that the demigods wouldn't panic about Gaea. "One of Perseus' enemies showed up and changed his blood to ichor."

"Which one?"

"I'm not allowed to say."

"Right, fine. Another oath?"

Apollo was visibly uncomfortable, "No not exactly."

"Then tell us."

"No, I can't. Percy should be the one to tell you, he should he here when you all find out," Apollo said truthfully. He wanted Percy to tell the demigods what happened. Even if he didn't it should be his choice. Whether the demigods know that Gaea appeared or not.

"Alright fine, we'll ask Percy when he comes around again," Nico said, begrudgingly standing down.

Apollo flashed them all a quick smile before dissolving into light. That was not a conversation he wanted to witness. He would consider it however if Percy asked, and if the demigods agreed to leave all weapons behind. Then Apollo would definitely consider to be present for the conversion.

Actually thats a lie. If Percy asked Apollo would say yes before he could finish the sentence. He loved him. He would do anything to keep Percy's happiness alive. He would do anything to keep Percy in his life.

Hypothetically if I were to write a story of how Triton and Thanatos got together would you be interested in reading it. Kym and Anteros would be in it too.
