Normally the Gods would not go down to Earth and partake in festivities (not normally anyway).
This was the exception though at least this one time it was.

The rain poured down on Athens as the countdown began to the New Year.
"10."
Hades arrived beside his wofe who was screaming with the crowd looking so alive.
"You made it!" The young blonde said happily.
"9."

The tan skin maled smiled at his wife.
"8. 7."
"Of course I did." The God of Death said
"I'm not missing any oportunity to be with you."
"You always are though. At least around this time of year."
"Still I dont like missing it."
The brown eyed girl smiled at her husband. A small blush formed on her cheeks.
"6. 5. 4."
Hades oicked her up to where the young woman butt was on his amrs and from how she was in his arms she had to look down at him.
"3. 2."

The fair skinned young woman placed both hands on either side of her husbands somewhat hairy face and kissed him.
"1. HAPPY NEW YEAR."

He kissed her back and the two did not break apart until a few seconds later. It was then they saw a camera filming them and many starring at them.

Peresephone waved at the camera nervously as her husband felt embaressed. He moved his head to the otherside of his wifes who giggled at her husband being camera shy.

When he looked back the camera was gone.
"We should go before my mom finds us." The blonde said a smile still on her face. Though it showed more anxiety than happiness.

Hades nodded and set the young woman down. The tan skinned man grabbed his wifes hand who took the lead through the crowd where the found a dark alley that the two travled through.

Hades swore he heard his mother-in-law screaming at them from the surface world.
