lights in the night sky
a fallen leaf on a streeplamp
the quiet sound of dripping water
a cold wind blowing around us
honey dipping from your lips
as they softly kiss mines
everything felt so perfect
i wish i never woke up .

sadly every morning
the sun brings me back on earth
why does reality feel so rough
without you
or at least without
the idealised version of you
that is living rent free in my head .
