This is merely a chance for me to ask some questions about the text; namely, what does it all mean?

When I wrote this piece, I constructed each chapter from what I imagined to be happening beyond the images the text creates; i.e. the thoughts and perspective of you the reader, and also the man central to the story.

What I am thus interested in hearing is what you think lies beneath the surface. This is not an exercise in right and wrong, for I believe strongly that a text is as unique to the reader as it is to the writer. I do not construct meaning, I merely guide and shape interpretation.

So, please feel free to share your ideas and understandings with me, I am very excited to hear them.

Additionally, I have lately been entertaining the idea of writing a sequel from the point-of-view of the wife yet, not wanting to tarnish the current work, I'd be interested to hear what you think about the idea. Thanks!
