I know it's long but it is good! and very sad, character death, srry, I swear I love the character that dies. Also, Arachne is back, one time only, don't worry.

Annabeth moved in with her dad once again. Percy was at his mom's house hanging out with his baby sister! Fredrick had decided that it would be "good" for Annabeth and Helen(A/N I think that's her name) to have some "Mother-Daughter Time." So, he took Bobby and Matthew on a camping trip. The so called Mother-Daughter Time is basically a chance for Annabeth to get her summer reading done. So, when Fredrick asks what they did, they had come up with a list so they could act like they spent time together this list was as follows: Spa time, Mani-pedis, library trip, movies, book store. Also, they tried to act like they had a lot of fun so they could do it again because it was chaos free.

 Then, Annabeth went into her room and screamed, because an Iris Message from Chiron came and said Arachne had killed her brother, Malcolm. Her dad ran in and asked what was wrong, and saw that she was crying and had grabbed her camp bag.

"I need to get to camp within 3 hours."

"Why?"

"My brother was just killed."

"Your brothers are right there in the living room."

"Malcolm was just killed by Arachne so I need to get to camp, to make his shroud. Please let me take a airplane."

After a moment's deliberation "Fine."

"Thanks Dad."

Then, she went into the kitchen to grab the keys, and her stepmom asked, "What do you think you are doing, Missy?"

"Going to Camp Half-Blood to make my brother's shroud." Then, she was gone.

Percy was already there having been closer. He embraced her and let her cry on his shoulder once she got out of the plane. He then continued to pull her up into his arms, he then carried her to her cabin (her sobbing the whole time) sat down at the desk where they were designing the shroud and helped.
