 "Hide that pad! It needs to be discreet!" 

 "No one wants to see that, disgusting!" 

 You wouldn't see me telling someone to shut up about a broken limb! So stop telling me to shut up about my period! 

It is a natural, biological process for people who happen to have been born with a uterus. So many people get so many misconceptions about this cycle of blood shedding!
