"...to him?" A worried Keith was the first thing Pidge saw as she woke up.

"Did I...?" She asked, staring at the unconscious black paladin. Keith shot a glare at her before turning his attention back to Shiro.

"I'm sure you didn't mean to." Allura comforted her. Pidge couldn't help but notice that even the princess kept her distance.

"What did I do?" She asked after a moment.

"Well, I tried putting you in a healing pod, but it released you prematurely and you attacked Shiro."

"How badly did I hurt him?!" Pidge asked, stepping back in a panick.

"Badly enough." Keith snapped. He didn't know why he was so mad at her, it was obvious that she couldn't control herself. Something was taking that away from her.

"I'm..." Pidge bit her lip and ran out, wiping tears from her eyes. She tried to be strong, but she had hurt Shiro...

How had this even happened?! More importantly, why?!

"Pidge! Jesus Christ, what happened?" Lance asked her as she ran past. He pulled her into a hug and looked at her face.

"I... Shiro... Hurt him....."

"It wasn't your fault. We need to figure out what's going on or it'll just keep happening. If you run away from Allura then that can't happen." Lance said. Pidge grudgingly agreed and walked back being the blue paladin, holding his hand. (Not Lidge/Pance, just some brotp bonding)

"You're back!" Allura said with a vacant smile as the blue and green paladins entered the infirmary.

"Can you even fix it?" Pidge asked as soon as Lance left. Allura took a careful breath and opened her mouth to speak, but Pidge cut her off.

"Can you put me in cryo-sleep?"

"Well, yes, but..."

"But what?"

"Well, if I put you in cryo-sleep, it wouldn't stop the spread of the poison. It would give us time to find a cure, if there is one. This poison is very smart though."

"If it'll help, then you should do it." Pidge insisted. The safety of her fellow paladins - of Shiro, Hunk, Lance, Keith, even Coran and Allura - was more important than her own.

"I... Alright."
